Aahhhh I’m crying
I loved the story all the actors and actresses. The setting the screen time the plot twist but the ending had me in tears . It’s 11:55 in Scotland and I just finished watching it and I’m in tears also the female lead is my favourite actress so it was a win win. I loved it .if you like her then I would totally recommend you watch young actors retreat it’s so nice and funny and of course I had to watch that cause all my favourite actors were there ( ji Chang wook, park bo gum, hwang in youp, park seo joon) like chefs kiss to all of them. Was this review helpful to you?
comforting yet heartbreaking. this movie LITERALLY changed my perspective on life
this movie is soo good although I didn’t like the sad ending but I get it at the same time. Realistic ending actually this movie reminds me of the notebook. One thing I really liked about the movie is the characters and also I wasn’t a big fan of her bsf but I’m glad she told woon ho cause I WOULD LITERALLY CRASH OUT if he just left without knowing the truth. I also like how love is described in this movie they way in the beggars said that she eats more and sleeps more that’s real love. Was this review helpful to you?

SUCH A GOOD KDRAMA OR MORE OF A MOVIE
This kdrama was such a fun drama that I watched this drama or actually movie twice. Not only the movie was nice but also the people who acted in it. Like the boy is so handsome and the woman is so beautiful and young. I think it's a shame that the girl only knew that the boy had died after 15 years. I also really like the chemistry between the two. The boy was afraid of heights but still went into the attraction to tell her his feelings. The letter he had written for her was a really beautiful letter that really brought a tear to my eye. Bo-ra went on a blind date and that man said the same thing as her ex which made her cry, I felt really bad for her. She and her friends are so sweet to each other, they had a fight with each other, but they still gave a lot of hugs. I'm glad the girl had the hard operation. The music style of this drama is also very good but not the best. I would definitely watch this film drama again for the third time, this was my own little review, hopefully it helped you, I definitely recommend watching this drama, I shed a few tears myself, but now I'm really saying goodbye BYE PS CHIARA PLACENTIWas this review helpful to you?
BEAUTIFUL! PLEASE WATCH IT!
I will say I didn't expect much of it, but because my friend kept telling me to watch it I eventually did. And I don't regret it. I love how it's so realistic, and that the friends keep their friendship no matter the misunderstandings. I love the vibe, the way it focuses on the life of the female lead and her story, the way the plot didn't add too much unnecessary drama is very rare for movies or shows in general to do. This movie made me cry so much and every scene was filled with emotion. Lovely. Was this review helpful to you?

When First Love Lingers
I didn't expect the ending to turn out the way it did, but I think that’s what makes it resonate so strongly with viewers. Rather than offering a neatly wrapped conclusion, the film leaves a lingering sense of bittersweet realism that stays with you long after it ends. It’s the kind of ending that makes you reflect on the choices, regrets, and missed opportunities in life, tugging at your heartstrings in a way that feels authentic and deeply affecting. The mixture of nostalgia, unresolved longing, and quiet acceptance creates a profoundly human experience, reminding us how fragile life can be and how the people we hold dear can leave a lasting impact on our hearts. One thing I always struggle to understand in dramas and movies is when a character continues holding onto a past love for such a long time. From a viewer’s perspective, we learn of Poong Woon Ho’s fate at the same time as the female lead. As the story unfolds, it feels as though Poong Woon Ho simply ghosted Na Bo Ra. In a situation like that, wouldn’t someone eventually decide to move on? Yes, Poong Woon Ho was a great guy, but if someone suddenly disappeared from your life with no explanation, would you really continue holding onto them? After the initial stages of grief in a relationship, most people would eventually reach a point of acceptance and realize that someone who vanished without explanation may not be worth such a deep emotional investment. Na Bo Ra does attempt to go on a date, yet her lingering feelings constantly pull her back to memories of Poong Woon Ho.
Maybe I’m being nitpicky, or perhaps Na Bo Ra is simply the type of person who loves only once. Like figures such as Betty White or Terri Raines, once they found their prince, they never felt the desire to look for another. Perhaps Na Bo Ra was the same way, but considering the fact that their relationship never truly began, it makes her unwavering devotion harder to fully understand.
What I didn't like, however, was Na Bo Ra’s lack of honesty upfront, caused pain for multiple characters. While I understand that Kim Yeon Du was sick and dealing with her own struggles, it felt as though Na Bo Ra was surrendering and handing Poong Woon Ho to Kim Yeon Du when she wasn't really in a position to be making that decision for anyone. Much of the conflict could've been avoided if Na Bo Ra had simply said something like, “Sorry, I thought you were referring to Baek Hyun Jin.” Even if she didn't want to reveal everything, admitting that she was following the wrong person would've prevented some misunderstanding. This lack of communication created avoidable emotional damage and weakened the narrative at times.
Despite these frustrations, Kim You Jung and Byeon Woo Seok had great chemistry. Their performances made the emotional buildup feel natural and believable. You could clearly see the progression of their feelings, from small moments filled with butterflies to the gradual realization that they were genuinely in love. This strong chemistry is one of the film’s greatest strengths, as it makes the eventual tragedy of their relationship more impactful. I also appreciated how the audience goes on the same journey as Na Bo Ra, slowly uncovering what happened to Poong Woon Ho, which adds an emotional layer to the film’s ending and helps explain why she remained so deeply affected by her past.

beautiful yet heartbreaking
⭐ Overall: (8/10)a film wrapped in friendship, youth, love, and an impactful ending.
💭 Thoughts:
this movie was very well done! personally i loved it.
it was not hard to finish, and it was not boring and slow, i was hooked 😽. i think ending really stood out to me, like the entire vibe was just so in the moment.
✨ Highlights:
- i really enjoyed all the times Na Bo-Ra (FL) and Poong Woon-Ho (ML) spent together before any of the romance and miscommunication 🥰! their acting was so natural as well as their chemistry, even though they were friends, you could really see the tension between them. and lets take a moment for their visuals? BREATHTAKING 🛐.
- i think the director really did well with the movie, and the production was cooking throughout the movie! i loved the vibe.
⚠️ Lowlights:
- Kim Yeon-Du was a bit annoying, but of course she had her reasons for it. 😅
🎶 OST: (6/10)
the music REALLY gets you into the moment, the cute moments are to die for. (i want more of poong woon-ho and na bo-ra, thank yew)
📌 Recommendation:
these are for the people who like sad endings (i know people like this ☺️), slice of life, and youth.

Movie with rich storyline and characters
So, I had this movie on my watch list for a long time (since it's release), not knowing anything about the story and never had the time to watch it in one go. I even considered it watching in chunks while riding the subway on my way to work.Well, I'm glad I didn't. I finally got the time on christmas day and the invested time was worth it. After the first couple of minutes I also had to look twice, since I clearly didn't expect Kim Yoo-Jung in the main role, but I was even happier after my mind accepted it was true, since I really like her. The story then proceeded and I was on an emotional rollercoaster - I did go through all emotions the story presented. I was once again catched off guard after the major plot twist. Up till then, I believed it was an easy school romance story line but well - it was not. Once I swallowed the twist, the story then was easy going till the end.
So, in general: I liked this movie. Does it have flaws? Yes, it has. My main critique is the changed actress for Na Bo-Ra in the two timelines. Even though I do understand, that Kim Yoo-Jung is rather young and probably not suited to play a mid to end 30-year old women and maybe even can't depict the cool-headed and distanced emotions Han Hyo-Joo can, I would have just loved her to see it in that role. I see two reasons for that:
a.) Kim Yoo-Jung had more than 95% screentime of all Na Bo-Ra scenes, so it feels kinda ungrateful, that she can't do the last 5%
b.) It would be a huge chance for her, since she mostly played air-head, short-tempered characters, and I would have loved her to see and expand her acting spectrum with a different role, and these 5% would have been a great and forgiving possibility.
So, the change of the lead actress makes the end worse than it could be. For 1:45 hours or so I felt with Na Bo-Ra, because Kim Yoo-Jung did a great job. But then, from one scene to the next (and only for the last minutes) I have to connect with a different actress? That's not cool. If the switch would have been done after 1h or so, it wouldn't have been such a great issue.
Otherwise, the story was well written. All actors did a great job depicting their specific character. All of them felt alive and important for the story. None was expendable.
To sum it up, I rate it as 10/10 personally, but it should have been a 9.5 due to the changed actress.

DONT WATCH IF U CRY EASY
To be honest, this started out so cutely like it was a pretty casual condensed drama. I really thought the ending would circulate around the fact the the ML and FL do long distance then he comes back but NO. I fast forward to my girl Bo-ra getting ghosted but then she gets invited to an exhibit. I really thought that she would finally meet up with Woon-ho but then no i saw a death year. I WAS LIKE OH HELL TO THE NAH THIS BOY DIDN'T JUST DIE. SPOILER he did. AND it was so unexplained like whatttt. I had to google and ppl are saying he had an accident on the way to the airport and things like that. Nonetheless, i cried buckets and it made me actually upset. 1. because of the sheer sadness of it. and 2. because literally who expected that punch in the heart and 3. the most unclear situation. Lowkey, it seemed like the end was a bit rushed but the vhs was so cute i cried for a good 10 mins. To sum up, its a pretty good watch but I dont like watching sad endings. I watched it for the hype and I prolly wouldn't watch it if i knew how it ended. ♡qualifiedkdramer♡Was this review helpful to you?
Predictable
Cliched, predictable high school drama with some very beautiful young people. Bo Ra promises to look after her best friend's crush while she leaves the country. Predictable situations ensue, but you don't mind it too much since the main leads are so darned beautiful. I loved Bo Ra's relationship with her father the most. I wish they had given their banter a little more airtime. I was hoping the love triangle would give way to a close friendship--sort of like a three musketeers relationship, but the writers had other ideas. I hate to say it, but the unoriginal plot, and depthless supporting characters made this a bit disappointing. The acting was okay, but I think they could have gone a little further in raising the stakes. It general, a very sweet teenaged movie. Was this review helpful to you?
Great love story from student era.
It's a great movie. I love the story and the way we can see how their love story unfolds. It left an impact on me, and I didn't expect the ending. The acting was great, as was their chemistry. Definitely recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
