ML always stating he would protect FL, always took care of her after the SML usually saved , and then he got her well or healed from injuries. He seem to have too many things to attend to, wasn’t usually around, knowing that many people wanted to harm the FL. SML spoke the truth let you get hurt again.Then the girl she took in and treated like a sister betrayed her, trying to take advantage of the prince delirium to seduce him. A lot of disloyal people
Over all it was an okay story line , especially since it was a little different from your average period drama. I invested 28 episodes so I will see it to the end, although it’s start to get a little redundant, a little boring. Love the SML devotion to FL

Repetive storyline and horrible background music
The storyline feels repetitive and unengaging. The female lead (FL) is constantly harmed, only to be saved by the second male lead (2ML), while the main male lead (ML) perpetually arrives too late. This overused plot cycle makes the series predictable and monotonous.The background music is one of the worst I've encountered in Chinese dramas. It often clashes with the scenes, completely ruining the mood. For example, in emotional moments where the actors are meant to convey sadness, the music is oddly cheerful, making the performances feel out of sync. It's as if the music director is completely tone-deaf to the tone of the scenes.
The worst performance comes from Baili Weisheng, particularly in the scene where his character discovers his mother is still alive. His reaction comes across as dumb and wooden, making an emotionally charged moment feel flat and uninspired.

a drama that worth your time to re-watch
Just finished the drama 2 weeks ago and currently re-watching the drama second time and reading the novel at the same time. The song is great (Smiling and watching the wind rise, a constant thought, a thought and may time flow are the 4 songs I like that most)and the story is great (maybe the reason is that I personally like the Chuanyue genes) the casting was great particular like (Bambi Zhu and Chang DanDan). The drama is somewhat follow the novel but with few twitches on timeline and names. Of course there are some scenes that cannot be put in the drama particular at the beginning lolWas this review helpful to you?
Fateful Love - My Fave :)
"Fateful Love" (2024) promised a captivating romance, and it delivered! I especially loved the lead actors, particularly the 4th Prince and Princess. The story is consistently engaging, with no dull moments. Each episode kept me hooked! The chemistry was amazing. Definitely worth watching! Keep up the great work!Was this review helpful to you?

Might be fun if you're into silly stuf
This is my first review. The FL is strong and has military training so fight scene is done well. Lack of good acting makes she appears rude throughout the show. The ML is quite good with acting and always defend the FL. He even forgave her after stabbing him spontaneously. The chemistry between the main couple is average. The revenge scene is so satisfying. It is refreshing to see bad guy always get punish after FL start to appear. Costume is pretty and reflect the variety of country in the drama.The downside is firstly, the story telling and awkward script. The story flow is not smooth and the script is all over the place. Secondly the bgm sound. Why you gotta put a funny bgm over a serious scene? Also the scene where they meet the king is weird because they didn't show proper kneeling in front of the king.
Watch it just because i wanna see what more ridiculous things they wanna bring next.

Amazing Female Lead
The female lead is amazing in this.The male lead is terrible in this. Just very flat performances combined with writers making him the most useless character.
Some of the other characters are good but for nearly every single one, the plot will ruin any investment you have in them.

Slow
This drama started off well from the first 3 episodes both from all the female cast put in a great effort in acting , the male cast I’m a bit disappointed with their acting then getting from 8th episode started getting boring and slow, I h**te when the male lead is not sharp, I thought they said this drama is Wuxia? 😭 this is the most horrible wuxia dramas I’ve ever tuned in to watch. Storyline is no different all what’s keeping this drama alive are the female cast with great acting and bit of funny 👌Was this review helpful to you?
A must watch!
I loved this movie so much that I had to go back and rewatch it—and even then, I was left wanting more!Every detail, from the incredible performances to the gripping storyline, kept me completely hooked.
The characters felt so real, and the emotions they brought out were unforgettable.
The twists and turns kept me guessing, and even on a second watch, it felt just as fresh and exciting.
This is the kind of film that stays with you long after the credits roll.
Truly a masterpiece!

Intrigue and excitement
I love this drama so far. Ever since watching "The Legend of Shen Li" I have been looking for a costume drama that has a fierce femme FL. Who fights together with the ML.This one fits my other favourite genre of Sci-fi along the lines of Quantum Leap, which was a US Sci-fi drama series from the 1980s where a character would time travel and jump into the body and life of a person who was undergoing difficulties in their life often suffering a great injustice.
This person from the future would leap into the life of the person from the past and would help them get justice before leaping out again.
This drama fits that storyline, from what I can see so far.
It is a popular genre among cdrama especially the mini drama, but this one is so far seems to going quite well.
I love how they have dealt with the leap. And the chemistry between the two leads is electric. ❤.
It also meets my other favourite genre, the world of mystery. There are several mysteries to resolve. Like those two weird people with a lizard that keep following her and what really happened that night at the palace. 😮.
I am settling down for an exciting viewing. I will report back after watching a few more episodes.

Have the rules changed
I've been watching Chinese dramas for a while now and I could have sworn.They had really tight restrictions around time travelly dramas like transmitigation isn't this that type of drama?I'm gonna watch it cause it seems really good and the clips are getting to me. I mean, she's a modern woman who had some type of accident and was pushed into another reality.Right?

A soldada Han é uma militar e está em operação especial em uma floresta quando encontra um artefato misterioso e é transportada para o passado. Naquele mundo ela é a filha de uma concubina e sofre maus tratos pela família, porém logo que acorda naquele mundo decide lutar contra as injustiças sofridas ali e por consequência de sua atitude e por uma característica peculiar de ser imune a venenos, ela acaba chamando a atenção do quarto príncipe, Jun Beiyue, que a escolhe como consorte.Fateful Love é um drama de baixo orçamento mas que entretém. A cena de abertura do drama é bastante duvidosa, com CGI mais duvidoso ainda, mas a partir daí a protagonista embarca em diversas aventuras onde é alvo de inúmeras tentativas de assassinato devido a sua condição especial de ser a última remanescente de um povo considerado "perigoso". Enquanto tenta sobreviver aos atentados contra sua vida, ela procura pistas de como voltar para sua linha temporal e no processo acaba se apaixonando pelo seu marido, o quarto príncipe Beiyue. Os dois têm uma boa dinâmica juntos e são um casal bem entrosado em suas aventuras e com química. Apesar de alguns terem reclamado da demora para o casal "acontecer", acho que o amor foi surgindo de forma bem gradativa e natural. Se eles tivessem ficado juntos logo de cara teria sido algo forçado.
O enredo do drama é repleto vilões e a protagonista parece uma personagem de videogame avançando em fases, derrotando vilões para dali a pouco surgir um novo ainda pior que o anterior. Particularmente os mais odiáveis em minha opinião são a sogra dela e o Ministro de Nanzhao. Já a rival feminina, Feiyan, apesar de irritante e irracional em seu amor por Beiyue, ainda a achei interessante. Amei a luta dela com o Lige.
Outro personagem cheio de camadas é o príncipe herdeiro de Dongling, Lige. Ele é herdeiro de um reino liderado pela linhagem feminina e é odiado por sua mãe. Vive nas sombras, dúbio, moribundo, mas responsável pelas batalhas mais icônicas do drama. Apesar de não torcer para ele como par da protagonista, gostei da participação dele na trama. Foi um bom personagem secundário no sentido de ter uma história interessante, mas não interferir romanticamente na relação dos protagonistas pois não havia sentimentos românticos por parte da protagonista feminina em relação a ele.
Gostei do final. Voltar ao "ponto de partida" parecia óbvio na condição do enredo do drama. Gostei de como as coisas se deram. E para Lige, personagem incompreendido, todo o meu coração.
