One of the best kdramas I've watched in a while

Ima try to keep it sweet and simple, the actor portrays the protagonist so well, it really resembles the webtoon version (Gray) especially those eyes. they made Bryce (Beomseok) way too kind and gave him a bigger role than what he's supposed to have ngl... but it is the first season and it's all about his backstory so maybe they wanted to exaggerate it even more and give more depth to his character... because in the webtoon he's a piece of crap. Suho(stephen in webtoon) is easily my favorite character and quite literally is the reason why Sieun/Gray is who he is and where he's at right now. It's crazy to me that I've seen people acting like he doesn't deserve the hype, like hello?!

Camaraderie

This is my second time watching this outstanding drama series!! I have not watched the webstoon yet, but I will because sometimes there may be something that the writer incorporated into the storyline that the drama had to omit due to guidelines plus after viewing the series I know it would be worth the read!!
All I can say without projecting any spoilers is to watch the magnificent series about “camaraderie.”
After watching this series, you’ll realize what true friendship means and you may even question your own “inner circle” of friends.
Trust me, you will not be disappointed….that
I promise you!!

one word: amazing!

The entire show was super engaging from start to finish. It was unpredictable. It had twist and turns I never would've thought were coming.

The acting was all excellent. Right before watching this drama, I watched My Dearest Nemesis. The fact that the ML in that was the same as Su-ho was crazy; completely different characters. the actor playing the main ML also did a wonderful job. I cried with him several times, especially at the end in the hospital room. The actor who played Baek Sung was also amazing. He made me both love the character and hate the character at the same time. I loved that all the characters were not fully good or bad. You could see where their motivations were coming from based on their experience of the world.

The music was fantastic. I generally skip credits and the opening for any K drama I'm watching. However, in this case, the music was so appropriate that I listen to it every time, and sat through the opening credits every single episode.

I would highly recommend this show to anyone.

This Korean series is nothing like your usual rom-com K-dramas. It's a solid action–drama–thriller with a dark and emotional tone. The story dives deep into bullying, friendship, and personal battles faced by high school students.

Our protagonist, Yeon Si Eun, may look physically weak, but he’s incredibly smart — especially when it comes to fighting. Honestly, his fight scenes reminded me of Sherlock Holmes-style strategy (like in the 2009 & 2011 movies) — calculated, precise, and brutal.

The show focuses on how Si Eun gets close to two classmates, Beom Seok and Young Yi, and how their friendship slowly develops. You also get glimpses of why Si Eun avoids people, his emotional struggles, and a bit of background on his friends too.

As the story progresses, the trio faces one challenge after another — getting pulled into fights, betrayals, and intense situations. The tension keeps building, and you can't help but root for them.

🔥 The show is gritty, emotional, and very different from typical K-dramas. If you’re into realistic, character-driven stories with dark themes, this is definitely worth your time.

I’ll rate this a strong 10/10. For both Seasons

you need to watch!!

i think in an overall this show is amazing, the actors all did a great job portraying their roles. i think on a deeper level its a lot more than just boys fighting each other etc. if you understand it you can see their all struggling in their own ways. in my opinion it’s actually quite a sad kdrama. i’ve cried so many times watching this i think thats just because i’m so sensitive but as a person i relate so much to si eun so its hard to see him struggle. theres not one boring episode at all each episode has such an amazing storyline to it, and again the actors have all done brilliant, from right down to their body language to their facial expressions absolutely amazing. in all honesty im never going to recover from this show definitely a new favourite of mine it is 100% worth the watch!!! i really hope theres a season 3

I watched when it came out in 2022

First of all my english isn't the best and I apologise for any mistakes that I make going forward. So now talking about whc1, I honestly think the writing of this show is amazing, the detail put in to every scene by the writers and the way the actors portrait the smallest things amazes me. I also think that the osts chosen for this were amazingly placed through the series. Regarding watching it again, I have watched this series multiple times just waiting for the second season. And I also recommend it to every single person that I meet. Over all, of all the kdramas and none kdramas series that I have watched I think that weak hero class is the most touching and honestly the best one that you can watch.
