Guardians of Dafeng is not revenge story but an isekai fantasy . it gives more comedy and it's not as dark as LOZH . but ---
1 ) male lead rises in power by their intelligence . both ml are smart and knows how to survive .
2) mixture of fantasy and mystery with good world building .
3) romance is subplot . centered around ml .
4) Both has astronomical bureau with mixture of politics .

Legend of Fei has more romance but GOTF has tasteful pacing and growth of character for the FL. LOF is more FL centric while GOTF is more ML centric. Both can keep you on your toes till the end!
