Should been a shorter drama
Thae only good thing i can say was the leads had good chemistry the storyline was good however this drama did not need to be 36 episodes should be 24 it took to long for them to be together which made it annoying the AI sml character made no sense you can tell it was AI he didnt look real words didnt match the lip movement. I would like to see tan jian ci and wang chu do a another drama together hopefully with better storyline. I did like the other two couples too. Would i recommend this drama nope only if your ok with the slowest burn romance i ever seen next to the dazzling.Was this review helpful to you?
It was okay, just stayed for the leads
I thought that it wasn’t the best; I only watched it for the female lead. One of the other side's couple of stories, I really did not like, and I skipped over his scenes. And the Al of the ex-boyfriend really put me off, so I skipped most of his scenes as well, as I couldn't get past how awkward it looked.Was this review helpful to you?
Love love love
It was a good watch overall. It did bore me at times,The chemistry between the main leads was really good 👍 and honestly that was one of the main reasons I enjoyed the drama. Their interactions felt natural and I liked watching their relationship develop. I also liked that both leads had their own careers and personal struggles instead of the whole drama being only about romance.
The supporting characters were okay, some were good and some felt unnecessary. There were also some really nice emotional and cute moments between the leads, which I enjoyed.
It’s not that I hated the drama or anything, but:
- I think the drama could have been shorter. It would have been better as around 28–30 episodes with a slightly faster pace.
- I didn’t really like the stalking and some of the other unnecessary stuff.
It's not that I hated the show or anything but for me it doesn't hold the rewatch value
Overall, it was a good watch with good chemistry......

Glad Allowed out of Cold Storage
Watched due simultaneously with First Jasmine: two offset each other well. Like other reviewers shared, didn't need the third couple/his family at all - would have preferred more dating time to replace. My first time watching Tan Jian Ci who won me over despite my initial chemistry skepticism (height/frame compared to FL). Speaking of Wang Churan I watched out of curiosity as didn't care for her toxic FL character in Fireworks of My Heart nor I Dare You story (lasted 2 episodes but did watch all FOMH as Yang Yang and BinBin fan). Despite AI face swap glad this drama funally released and wish C would end policy that is bad for cast, crew, investors, AND viewers.Was this review helpful to you?
Kinda lost portential because of story pacing
I really like both the actors that's why i completed it. I definetly did skip a lot of scenes.All the characters were good individually but when together nothing felt in in place. It not totally the worst drama but the pacing is so off.
The main leads were good and had charcter growth also. Their dynamic was diffrent then usually. The FL is not a girl boss, is a normal employee who goes to work, want to have a peaceful normal life with a loved one. She was able to go from someone who is not so outspoken and will just let go because of fear of confronting to someone who would strive to hold on her place and show she's worth it.
The Ml was also a rich kid who grew up in a cushioned environment. He was open with his thoughts and didnt held them back. Also i like how expressive he was with FL.
The Second leads couple, Jingjing and lu ze were good. However i did not like jun and dang yu couple. the whole thing with jun's parents was so off and the screentime with them felt wasted ( i skipped most of their scenes)
The ex has such low self esteem and would drag down whoever was with him. Liao Shiyu was a good person who did rolled back in time and realised when she needed to let go.
but even if the characters were fun there were abrupt cuts in between . random scenes . It's like they had something in mind (a cute romcom with workplace romance) but came out with whatever this was

JC-T is so man and so healthy <3
After watching Lost You Forever, I fell in love with JC-T and looked for his dramas to watch.I was hesitant to watch this because the drama has a rather low rating of 7.6/10 (when I saw it). I usually go for dramas with 8/10 and up. Nonetheless, the FL is pretty and I like the ML, so … in I went!
What I Liked A Lot:
- The ML and FL got into a situationship fast. They started to live together early on and this was a plus!
- The ML had different facades with different people and I liked it because it was much like real life.
- The ML and FL had pretty nice family members.
- The ML and FL had pretty good chemistry.
- There were plenty of quirky and funny moments especially from ML.
- The ending was one big gathering of the different characters and it was as generally a happy ending for almost everyone in the drama.
What I Didn’t Like:
- The FL’s ex-bf was a total bastard because he was a confused nuthead and he was wavering and insincere and insecure. He was also portrayed oddly and he was not good-looking at all. In fact, I hated seeing him in my screen. - Da Jun’s mother was insufferable at first. Thankfully, she changed for the better towards the end of the drama.
I think this drama deserves more an 8/10 instead of less than 8/10. Thus, I give it a 9/10 to try to better the overall rating. I recommend to watch as it is an easy and enjoyable drama IMO.

More warmth than fireworks
Sometimes all I need is a light romance that doesn’t try too hard, and this drama fit that mood perfectly. The story isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but it has enough charm to keep the episodes flowing effortlessly. The leads share a comfortable chemistry that makes it easy to root for them, and I liked how their relationship developed gradually instead of relying on constant misunderstandings. There were moments where the pacing slowed down and some conflicts wrapped up a little too conveniently, so it never reached the emotional highs I was hoping for. Still, the characters were likable, the atmosphere was cozy, and it became the kind of drama I looked forward to at the end of the day. The only thing that left me a little disappointed is that, after waiting years for this, the final result didn’t hit me the way I had imagined. I still had a great time watching it, but I can’t help thinking it would have felt even more special if it had been released when it was originally intended.Was this review helpful to you?
A questionable choice to watch, but still enjoyable
Choosing to watch this drama was one of my questionable choices in June. Before starting, thanks to the generosity of the internet and its unwelcome spoilers, I already knew there was poor editing and that one of the characters had an AI-generated face. Those aspects made me hesitant, yet I decided to give it a try just to check out Tan Jianci, whom I liked a lot in "Love Me, Love My Voice".The first episode already proved all the buzz about the said issues to be true, but the story itself looked promising if I overlooked those flaws. It's basically about the business world, with our leads always ending up in the epicentre of many corporate schemes. They start off as business enemies of sorts, but eventually, working side by side on the same project and due to some circumstances even living together, they learn to understand and even care for each other.
Their personalities are completely opposite, leading to many comedic, chaotic, and sometimes even frustrating situations, and their banter is one of the best things this drama has. The other is the FL's best friend, Jingjing. But I must warn you, if someone wants to watch this for a lot of romance, you'd better not, because there's very little.
Overall, this is not a drama I would recommend, but it's an OK watch if you're there for any of the actors. Now I can close this chapter and move on to the next ones.
P.S. The intro song will be stuck in my head for quite some time.

Only for fans of Tan Jian Ci
Tan Jianci is the only reason to watch this show. You can listen to the OST on music streaming services. Wang Chu Ran is a mediocre actress. She has zero chemistry with any of her leading men, including Tan Jian Ci. She cannot perform at his level and is the same as in her other shows. But the issue with this show is over all - the Story. The secondary romance is very, very cringe. The 2ML stalks the 2FL for most of the show. His mother is also stalkerish. So the romance comes off as very creepy and one wonders why on earth the 2FL would fall for him at all. But magic resolutions are the halmark of this production. The primary romance takes 30 of 32 episodes to resolve and once the pair are together, all plot lines are also magically resolved. There are some very, very sexist and gender biased plots and commentary in the show which are disturbing. Tan Jian Ci tries to soften the presentation of some his more cringe dialogue, but he can't save the over all plot.Was this review helpful to you?

When the supporting characters make you want to avoid this drama
I watched this because of Wang Churan and to be honest there is no romance chemistry between her and Tan Jianci but i quite enjoy their banter even they dragged their story for too long and decided to give the screentime to unnecessary characters especially Jung Cheng mother. The main couple should have more screentime since their story was quite left hanged due the unimportant characters. The plot has no innovative since it's from rom-con and i don't really care about bad AI editing for beginning of the drama. I quite enjoy the episode 1-12 but the dragged and unnecessary characters really kill my mood for watching this. They make Qian Fei character seems illogical person while he was told by premises as smart analyst (he was smart but the writing of scriptwriter was quite mess). Liu Yifei was quite okay but not memorable for Wang Churan character that i watch, she was in between bad character and good character. It was quite bitter for me since i quite enjoy Wang Churan drama but the supporting casts story was really letdown for this drama.Wont recommend and rewatch this except the main lead parts.

Already on episode 29/36 and they still haven’t kissed yet
every episode felt boring, and nothing in the story made me excited to keep watching. The plot is too simple and lacks the emotional impact that keeps me invested. It might honestly be the worst Cdrama I’ve watched this year.That said, it’s also one of the most comfortable and stress-free dramas I’ve seen. If you’re looking for something light with almost no major conflicts or heavy angst, this could be your cup of tea.
What I liked:
- The leads have good chemistry, and they look great together.
- It’s an easy, relaxing watch with an unproblematic storyline.
What disappointed me:
- The romance is an extremely slow burn with barely any sparks. There are very few kiss scenes, and after waiting for so many episodes, the romantic payoff just wasn’t satisfying.
- The plot never gave me enough excitement to keep pressing “next episode.”
Overall, this drama just wasn’t for me. I wanted more romance, more tension, and more memorable moments. Sadly, I decided to drop it.
