Money and love are a difficult financial equation to solve

This is an overall entertaining workplace romance although the butting heads of the leads may feel protracted and there are too many repetitions (food, eggplants, girlfriend denials...)

Tán Jiàncì and Wáng Chǔrán are fun and eventually their characters Lǐ Yìfēi 李亦非 and Qián Fēi 钱菲 (funnily homophone with Qián Fēi = Money flies/gets lost!) end up sweetly kissing. The moral of this drama seems to be : earnings and work are the necessary battlefield, while home ground is not as peaceful as it could be. Creating a green company (Fūlāxīdá 夫拉悉达 which could be translated to "Flora perfection" ) with literal grassroots is the most desirable goal for a healthy future and for the ordinary people, but corporate sharks abound to distort the ideals.

The drama was unfortunately delayed because of AI face swapping a support actor Zhāng Hàowéi 张昊唯 who was suing a slanderer hounding him with a pack of cyberbullies, but courts took over three years to vindicate him (and he did not even receive much compensation for his severely harmed career). Production got cold feet at the perspective of this drama (filmed March to July 2023), set in this given time, gathering dust on the shelf while waiting for justice deciding. That was the reason for the not impressive face swap to Lǐ Xīnzé (not even acknowledged as AI on MDL cast list, and the original actor being mistaken by many for an "actor guilty in a scandal".
Anyway,that secondary character (Wāng Ruòhǎi 汪若海, Qián Fēi's ex boyfriend) was not a great boon to the story, and his appearances, kept short and probably often cut, did not help the plot to move much.

The two other secondary couples(Yáo Jīngjīng 姚晶晶 and Lù Zé 陆泽, Dǎng Yǔ 党羽 and Jūn Shéng 军丞, plus Liào Shīyǔ 廖诗语 rich heiress and some treacherous bosses (Fāng Yún 方云, Liào Jīnshān 廖金山, Sāng Shìqí 桑士齐... ) and assistants, were not much more important except for their ties to the business. One of the young couples illustrated, through the youth leisure interests (dancing, gaming), the difficult divide to bridge between generations. This was also the basis for Lǐ Yìfēi choosing to live apart from and not rely on his rich father, more than an almost casual breakup over a money dispute with his first girlfriend. The latter was a brief almost walk-on character on the stage of the (shared) Apartment which, with the Shanghai Office, were the main settings in which they revolved. Sometimes, whiffs of influences from the iconic American Friends drama series could be felt, but with a different sort of humor.

Watching in between longer and heavier dramas, this drama was light entertainment. A pleasant watch for those who remember Tán Jiàncì 's hilarious drama "Filter" with Lǐ Lándí, and less comedic but good ones ("Royal Feast", "How Dare You?") starring pretty Wáng Chǔrán (whom I will await in upcoming "Overdo").

Nothing groundbreaking though in this "Love Has Fireworks" but that does not mean it was not engaging. On June 29, it was reported that the drama had risen to N°1 in views for first time since it premiered, with a quite honorable score of 524 points, confirming the "feel good" and almost "no stress" quality it had for audiences, me included, who became engrossed in the very likable stubborn but deeply supportive of each other lead couple. It was completely worth every minute I spent watching it.

This was such a lovely drama to keep me company during this month of cold, unpredictable weather in my country.

I laughed a lot, truly enjoyed the main couple, and honestly didn't pay much attention to the business and financial side of the story. The best part was seeing dear Tan Jian Ci once again in a lighthearted, gentle, and sweet production—the kind that suits him so perfectly.

I don't really understand all the criticism. We got three adorable couples, a business issue that is actually quite relevant in today's world, and plenty of fun... along with some wonderfully stir-fried eggplants.

I absolutely loved this drama and will keep it in a special place in my heart. It was completely worth every minute I spent watching it.

Workplace Drama,Daily Life

This drama has the classic charm that makes Chinese dramas so enjoyable. I really like both of the main characters, but I'm especially drawn to Qian Fei. She's righteous, kind, hardworking, and incredibly down-to-earth. She's the kind of character who feels genuine and easy to root for.

Li Yifei's character is equally interesting, bringing a lot of humor and charm that perfectly balances the story.

What I love most about this drama is how realistically it portrays the struggles of working life and the importance of friendship. There's nothing overly dramatic about the storyline, and that's exactly what makes it so refreshing. It feels natural, relatable, and comforting—almost like following a small part of everyday life.

If you're looking for something light, relaxing, and easy to watch after a long day, this drama is definitely worth giving a try. It's the perfect choice when you just want to unwind or pass the time with a heartwarming story.

YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO THE BANTER !

let me start by saying that not all dramas manages to hook me but this one got me hooked from day 1, I found myself looking forward to every new episode!
I'm a fan of slow-burn romance and this drama delivered exactly that!
I liked how they slowly warmed up to each other and how they slowly made place in each other's world
what i really liked about this drama was :
- the chemistry between the main leads
- the banter
- the music
- the slow pacing of the drama
I really appreciated how the story gave both characters their time to figure out how they felt instead of rushing it.

Could've Been.. Would've Been..

This show was cute and funny. Tian Jianci is such a great all around actor whether playing serious or comedic roles. And Wang Churan is just beautiful to watch on screen. The story between the leads had enough to make the show work.. idk why the writers decided to make the side characters almost have the same amount of screen time as the mains.. i did end up ff their scenes.. As for the romance the leads romance is what i would call practical.. not complicated.. it is a slow burn.. but it didnt affect their chemistry.. this show could've been a 10 for me if the other characters didnt take up so much screen time it didnt give me enough time to enjoy the leads.. 💜

MY BICKERING COUPLE /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ\

For me, this was a fun, fluffy, and light-hearted drama with a nice mix of business and office politics, which I really enjoyed. However, I didn't like how some characters took up so much screen time despite not contributing much to the overall plot.

I also wish we had gotten more episodes focusing on Yifei and Qianfei's dating era. They only showed about 3–4 episodes of them as a couple, but I wanted to see more of their sweet, adorable, and fluffy relationship. I absolutely loved how Yifei and Qianfei were always teasing each other. They were my ideal bickering couple! 🥹💕 Their playful banter made their relationship feel so natural and entertaining. Another big plus point for me was that there weren't any major misunderstandings between them. It was so refreshing to watch a couple communicate and trust each other instead of being dragged into unnecessary drama.
And I have to say, my favorite scenes were whenever Yifei got jealous over Qianfei. 😂 Those moments were adorable, hilarious, and honestly some of the best scenes in the entire drama for me. I also really loved that there was never a scene where Yifei's dad objected to Yifei and Qianfei's relationship. It was such a refreshing change! He was a genuinely sweet, supportive, and caring father. 🥹💖I also loved Qianfei's parents. They were warm, understanding, and supportive, which made both families so enjoyable to watch. It was nice to see a drama without unnecessary family opposition getting in the way of the main couple's relationship. ❤️

The chemistry between the leads was one of the highlights of the drama. Wang Churan and Tan Jianci were so good together that I really hope they get paired up again in another drama. 🥹💕Although this drama had a few drawbacks, especially the pacing and some slow scenes, I stayed till the end because of Wang Churan and Tan Jianci. 🥹💕 I absolutely loved them as Qian Fei and Li Yifei. Their chemistry, acting, and playful relationship were the biggest reasons I kept watching. ❤️✨

Really this is very good and delightful drama

I just finished this drama.First of all congratulations to all actor and actress for your hard work specially Tian jian ci and wang churan... This was the most anticipated drama.. I waiting for this drama for many years.. At last it came... It really fireworks🎇... I really like it...
But in this drama the most annoying part is jun's mom and wang ruhoi but overall is really good... Specially Li yifei and Qian Fei's bickering to each other... I really enjoyed those bickering... They already looked like a couple even before the confession.... Yes after 26 no. episode I loosed my patients because at least in 10 episodes we saw their dating era but after 33 no episode (33-36) I just speechless what a sweet moment between them!!!! And no more Jun's mom annoying scene..... 5-6 kisses just in 3 episodes 😍😍so many hugs....

So please go and enjoy this drama really worth it.....

Comedy From Afar, A Tragedy Up Close

Tan Jian Ci does a phenomenal job in his portrayal of the ML and manages to turn a crabby, dislike-able ML into someone kinda cute. Don't get me wrong, TJC carried the drama and without him, this easily could have been an angsty melodrama. He has a natural talent for comedy and tongue-in-cheek moments. If it weren't for him, I most likely would have dropped the drama.

But please, let's be serious. The ML is a love that I don't wish upon anyone. Who else would want a crabby, sarcastic, sometimes downright rude good-for-nothing that cannot wash dishes, cook, clean, or do laundry and thinks the whole world runs around him. It might give viewers a little PTSD because we all know someone like this, but they often are not some conglomerate group's heir.

From afar, it's a comedy but up close, it's a tragedy. The poor FL who was on track to being a trad wife gets dumped by her fiance for a rich girl and her earnesty taking care of him and his whole family is thought of as suffocating. But because she was so set on being a trad wife, FL gave up a lot of career opportunities. Not only does she end up broke from buying a marital home by herself, she also has no job prospects and is taken advantage of multiple times by many different people. As the author would have it, the ML comes in and saves the day every time something happens. He loans her money, teaches her how to navigate work, diffuses or resolves plots against her, and eventually gives her a job (multiple times). It is safe to say that without ML, FL would have been cannon fodder and likely would have just been another unfortunate scapegoat. Unfortunately, she is also accompanied by several well-meaning but troublesome friends who don't always make the situation better and only add to the situation.

Needless to say, my issues lie with the script and characters but not the actors themselves. Wang Chu Ran does a great job in this drama because she manages to balance the fine line between drama, comedy, and tragedy. It's just TJC blows the entire cast out of the water in this one because he quite literally dominates the screen. In short, it's a male-saviour drama where the ML saves the damsel in distress. While it's not outright misogynistic, there are enough red flags for you to not love it and rewatch it later.

Red Flags (not an inclusive list):
- The streamer/front desk/dancer friend x the stalkerish gamer couple = No, just no. Completely omitting them would have made the drama better
- The random mini break ups the main couple goes through followed by reconciliation without changing any behaviors
- The last minute selling of the house because the ex's mom is sick (bro, there's literally no obligation to do anything for them anymore)

Just two chaotic roommates and fireworks that didn't last

Love Has Fireworks was one of those dramas that completely caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting anything particularly original—a workplace romance between two people forced to share the same apartment is hardly a new concept—but I quickly found myself looking forward to every episode. For almost thirty episodes, the drama struck a wonderful balance between comedy, romance, and everyday life, making it incredibly easy to binge.

What surprised me the most wasn't the story itself, but how naturally everything unfolded. Rather than rushing the romance, the drama takes its time letting the two leads become friends first. They argue, tease each other, support one another through difficult moments, and gradually build a relationship that feels believable. By the time they finally admit their feelings, it feels completely earned.

Unfortunately, that's also where the drama begins to lose some of the magic that made the first half so enjoyable. The writing becomes inconsistent.. And the FL's sudden self realization and second stage of character development after 30 episodes felt forced.. Things start happening that doesn't make any sense..

For nearly eighty percent of its runtime, Love Has Fireworks is exactly what a romantic comedy should be: funny, comforting, charming, and full of lovable characters. The chemistry between the two leads remains one of the strongest aspects of the series from beginning to end.

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed it. Do I think the final episodes could have been handled much better? Absolutely. In fact, I believe the drama might have been even stronger if it had ended around episodes 32 or 33 .

Cute and funny with...quirks

I absolutely loved the main couple! I did expect more romance, but I didn't really mind, because their hilarious banter made up for it. They gave off major best friend energy, which was the only thing that held me up, because they got together at the very end.
Their relationship era felt really rushed, but I still think the ending was done well, at least better than most modern cdramas I've watched.

Now, for the side characters:
The 2nd lead couple were really cute, and I truly enjoyed the 2nd female lead, especially her friendship with the FL.
Here is where I have an issue: the 3rd lead couple. I just didn't like them at all, and it felt like we were excusing straight-up stalking and harassment. I have a big issue with that, and honestly, whenever they showed up on my screen, I just pressed skip.

I recommend just watching the main lead couple and skipping almost everything else. I didn't even find the plot that engaging.
