It was fun , emotional and I enjoyed it
OH MY SHAYLA !!! MOON YANG 🥀 ( movie leans more towards friendship than romance.)Pretty Crazy is fun, lighthearted
-The focus wasn’t heavy on romance; it was more about the fun moments and the unique emotional connection with the demon side of Seon Ji.
-I felt he has a crush on seon ji but I don't think they really had many conversation that would lead to deep feelings,, It was more of an admiration towards each other
-If you’re expecting a deep romance, you won’t really find it here .. the story leans more on chaos and comedy.( emotional depth is also there )
- I did feel bad for the demon inside her,, she was so innocent ..
-Nevertheless That said, it isn’t flawless... Also, while I really enjoyed the first watch, I don’t think the rewatch value is very high once you know the secret and the ending, the charm doesn’t hit as hard ( but ofc people can have diff likings )

What a Great Comedy!
What a hilarious show! The number of comedy is extremely generous. This you can make you laugh, cry, then laugh again. The storyline doesn't need anything complicated.Unfortunately this show is far from flawless. The big names in this movie are somewhat a waste. With Jung Seon Ji having two personalities, I thought Yoona will have to play two characters. However, the day version of Seon Ji doesn't seem well developed. Character Jung A Ra and Hui Beom are both just cosmetics, their involvement is far too minimal. Also the story itself has a big letdown at the end. Actually, nothing wrong with the jar plotline. But why the jar has to be buried and placed under the boulder when it's just kimchi inside???
Still back to the first point, it's a show with generous number of comedy!

Pretty Crazy Was So Entertaining
It's been a while since I wached a movie that made me laugh, cry and then laugh again, everything was balanced it was entertaining but emotional at the same time.YoonA was amazing in the movie she nailed the two characters she was playing, I especially enjoyed nighttime Seon Ji's scenes, she was so much fun and childlike in her behaviour but deep down she was a kind person who was treated with cruelty so she had to protect herself by behaviour that way.
Ahn Bo Hyun was also amazing I liked that he cared for both of them.
Overall this movie was great, definitely recommend.

Craziness mixed with heartfelt moments.
A fun, crazy watch. I quite enjoyed this film due to the craziness and the funny moments that came out of it. It was entertaining to watch all of the crazy moments between the two leads. On one hand, it’s creepy and mysterious, with Gil-Gu experiencing all these bizarre, mind-bending situations as he tries to figure out what’s happening to Sun-Ji. On the other hand, it’s surprisingly funny and heartfelt at times, especially as he goes from being just curious to genuinely caring about her and wanting to break the curse. Although, it doesn’t offer much of a rewatch value it’s a great one time watch for a romantic comedy. Was this review helpful to you?
An Enjoyable, fun and entertaining Movie
So, where do I even start. This had me hooked pretty early on, the plot was new, and it was an overall really fun movie which I haven't seen much of recently but this captivated me.Personally it was light, easy to follow and to the point atleast mostly. What I loved most was Yoona's acting as Moon Yang because wow I loved her crazy and whole dress up and vibe. She was a very entertaining demon to say the least. I wan't a huge fan of hers but as of recent she has really upped her acting and I am here for it. On the other hand, we have Ahn Bo Hyun who has always been sooo freaking good and he delivered with the role. He encompassed Gil-Gu's meek yet kind nature perfectly. I adored the casting of our leads plus that dad, that actor is a veteran ahjussi and I loved seeing him as well.
One down part for me was that whole shaman guy or whatever, it didn't add a lot other than being a catalyst for us finding out Moon Yang's past. Probably the least enjoyable plotline for me. That guy added nothing much to the movie. Plus I would have liked more scenes between Gil Gu and the real Seon-ji. The ending was cute but I wanted more of those two.
Other than that, what a lovely, sweet and nice watch. I love a nice simple movie without too much going on and this crossed all the boxes. Loved it a bunch. Definitely try it out though I'd say it's less of a romance.

Simple, Sweet, and Just the Right Amount of Crazy
I’ve really missed seeing Yoona in movies and dramas, so Pretty Crazy was such a nice treat. It’s funny, light, and gives that fluttery “crush” feeling, nothing groundbreaking, but charming in its own way.Story-wise, it follows the familiar rom-com formula. It’s not exactly predictable, but it does feel a little short on depth, like it could’ve explored more. Still, it’s touching in small moments and doesn’t try to be more than what it is which is a fun, feel-good watch.
📌 Watch this if you want a short, funny, and easy-to-enjoy rom-com sprinkled with Yoona’s charm that’ll leave you smiling, even if just a little.

Gil-Gu my beloved boyfailureeeeeee!
Gil-Gu was the heart of this movie for me, so sincere in everything he does while still being an unintentional goof. I love him and Ahn Bo Hyun did an amazing job as well as Yoon A! Double roles aren't easy but she pulled it off flawlessly. My only gripe not having more scenes with Seonji, maybe exploring her head and relationships, but I'm not sure how that would have worked anywayThe cast around them added to my enjoyment as well for Ara, Seonji's dad and Hee Bum to the convenience store staff and teenage girl. I had so much fun with this movie and still teared up at the end. The score was lovely, both in the beginning with the scene changes and at the end with the emotional moments.

More a comedy with some sincere moments than a romance
This quirky rom-com (featuring an aspiring pâtissier possessed by a demon and a jobless guy) is much more focus on the comedy aspect than on the romance which is never very deepened. However, I did not mind at all that is was not really a romance. On the contrary, I liked that the writing put the focus on the demon / human relationship. The ending opened the doors to more and even if it felt a bit abrupt, overall it was a nice watch.
Yoona really did an excellent job showcasing diametrically different personalities while giving the male lead (played by Ahn Bo Hyun) full whiplash effect.
I would recommend this to people looking for a comedy with some heartfelt moments. The romance is really not the main aspect of the story but I think it is worth a shot as I found the storytelling around the fantasy elements super interesting with some very well made background regarding the curse.

Fun true love story, lighthearted warmhearted and uplifting
This is not one of those masterpiece movies, it is rather simple and lightweight, BUT it is also rather profound. Simple is beautiful :) The story is about true love - the dude does everything to help her, lets her go and lets her come to him on her own.The plot is fun, the actions are righteous, and the resolutions lead to everyone growing up and changing for better... So, I say, this is one movie to watch.
The only problem with this movie is that the FL has done NOTHING for her character growth except to go away to fulfill her dreams and then come back to him. She is oblivious to everything that happened LOL
ML did all the work.... as usual in most kdramas :(
The second most of the emotional work and growing up was done by the "demon" LOL who luckily responded to all the work of the ML. FL's dad and sisters stayed consistently great.
As for technicalities:
Hm, FL lead got an acting award for her role here... "The 29th Chunsa International Film Festival was held on December 23. Lim Yoon A, who played the lead character Jung Seon Ji in the film Pretty Crazy, released this past August, received the Best Actress award for her movie role. "
I saw the FL aka this actress in question in King the Land and in Bon Apettit your Majesty and she acted THE SAME in both - exact same facial expressions and body language..... It was OK in Bon Apettit bc it fit the ML acting style and the two of them did some great comedy together. She has a talent for finding comedic moments.
But ... the point is, she acts the same every time.... And she acts that SAME as the Daytime FL in this movie too. The only difference is acting crazy at night. She did that part fine, but anyone can act that... acting crazy is easy.... and .. even some of those demon faces are repeats of her SAME "angry look" from all other dramas.
So ... why did she get the award... ? bc her dramas brought in a lot of money and had lots of viewers?
So that's why I gave 9.5 for acting. Bc FL is the same old repeated herself. I really dont see different characters when she acts.
The Dad - that famous actor - should get an award for his role, he is great...
ML in this movie is great and should get an award for acting too.
This is the first time ever I saw ML actor. I was pleasantly surprised.
ML is incredibly handsome! Esp since he doesnt look like a "plastic flower boy" but like a real person, he even has wrinkles from frowning, had real color in his face, clearly he was not indoors all the time, and he is a genuine healthy athlete, not just a couch potato lifting weights, and he has genuine black hair. So refreshing!
So many models taking up acting and being terrible at it.. like... ML in Would you Marry Me, etc etc etc. Many cannot even smile, or have artificial "gym" bodies, like ML in Dynamite Kiss... Many are so pale, it is clear they have not been outdoors forever, like... ML in The Real Has Come or ML in Spirit Fingers (at least they acted very well there, but a pale bloated face is just .. not a healthy sight.)
After writing this, I read the bio of ML actor and found that I was correct, he is a gold medal boxer. Ok, I got that! I am an athlete myself so I could tell he is an athlete and moves correctly from the core. All right, score in investigation, inspector megre!
But I know nothing about plastic surgeries.... so... am I correct that this is not (at least not big) plastic job? Maybe I can only detect only huge distorted plastic looks, like... Cher, mom of FL in Graceful Liar, etc.
In any case, ML is one handsome guy who looks like a real guy to me and is a real athlete, and also acts well. Wow refreshing!

Love 1+1
It can happen that when you fall in love with someone and start dating, that person reveals a different personality you never expected. This movie takes that premise to the extreme: when a guy named Gil-gu meets a girl he likes, he has to deal with a daytime Seon-ji, who is kind and humble, and a nighttime Seon-ji, who is literally a demon—aggressive and unpredictable. As the movie progresses, this modern take on a romantic story starts to feel more and more like a classic fairy-tale love story. This is actually a minimalistic movie, with basically just two roles taking up about 90% of the screen time. The rest of the characters appear only in small supporting roles, mostly for comedic moments. And I must say, the movie starts strong as a comedy. I laughed out loud a few times at the beginning. Too bad they stopped investing in comedy later in the movie (how could they miss such a golden opportunity at the finale?) and focused almost entirely on the romance.
This is a very good movie for a romantic comedy and features some great scenery. It has a few loopholes, but it will be enjoyable for most viewers.

Im Yoon-ah delivers one of her most versatile performances, masterfully balancing the contrast between the sweet and lovable daytime Seon-ji and her wild, unhinged nighttime counterpart.
Ahn Bo-hyun perfectly complements her as Gil-goo, bringing unexpected warmth and tenderness while dealing with the absurdity of his job. The chemistry between them drives the movie, making their unlikely romance feel genuine.
Pretty Crazy is a charming film for those who enjoy romantic comedies with a touch of fantasy and the supernatural. It’s not perfect, but it offers memorable moments, a curious premise, and the ability to surprise you when you least expect it. If you’re open to a mix of drama, absurd humor, and a bit of suspense, this movie will give you laughter, tenderness, and a delightful chill in the night.

Pretty Crazy is a fun, comedic take on demon possession. For me, it’s one of those movies you just enjoy watching nothing too heavy, but still with a nice emotional sprinkle. The casting is good, and while the plot isn’t complicated, that actually works in its favor. This is the kind of movie I’d watch on a chill day when I don’t want to commit too much energy.*Plot *
The story follows Jung Seon-ji, a shy and polite young woman who carries a family curse. Every night at exactly 2 a.m., a demon takes over her body for a few hours. She switches from quiet and reserved to loud, colorful, and angry. Her father has been managing this curse for years, acting as the demon’s bodyguard going out with it and making sure to fulfill whatever the demon demands.
Things change when her father injures himself and can’t continue anymore. He asks their neighbor who accidentally finds out about the family secret to take over as the demon’s chaperone. That’s when things start to shift, especially after the neighbor decides he wants to do more than just supervise the demon and actually tries to help Seon-ji by finding a way to remove it from her body.
Overall, I found Pretty Crazy to be a really nice, easy watch. It’s not meant to be deep or complex, but it’s charming, funny, and surprisingly warm, perfect for when you want something enjoyable without any heavy emotional commitment.
