Short and simple
Personally I love it when childhood friends get married so this bestfriends to lovers trope is good with me.This gorgeous pair deserves more episodes though, 4 episodes is simply too short to be a tv show for me. Also, IF a tv show has 4 episodes only, I hope it would get dropped in 1 go. Most people would lose their patience waiting for the new episode, it's like watching a movie over the course of 4 weeks.
So yeah, Soundtrack #1 is a good show, my main issue is just the length of it all.

Soundtrack # 1 was a delight!
***This review may contain spoilers***It is a miniseries which tells a gentle, soft and pure love story. I love how we slowly discover that Eun Soo and Sun Woo have loved each other since a long time ago. I enjoyed all the “Bonus Track” at the end of each episode. These details showed how they truly love each other. I also like the theme of loving and respecting each other. They didn’t want to confess because they don’t want to break their friendship, but they also don’t want to restrain each other to achieve their dream in their career. The ending was very satisfying to finally see them happy together!
Han Soo Hee as Eun Soo was perfect. I haven’t seen her for a long time, and I forgot that she was very charming! She portrayed Eun Soo very well. Eun Soo is lively but also sensitive. I also like how stylish she was in this series. Her hair, her makeup, her clothes and her bags fit her very well!
Park Hyung Sik as Sun Woo was also great. He portrayed the gentle, nice, caring Sun Woo very well. I especially love all the scenes he saw Eun Soo with Woo Il. He was very jealous, and it made Sun Woo livelier and funny! I did love the scene in which Eun Soo met Woo Il for work and Sun Woo insisted on drinking the orange juice that Woo Il offered to Eun Soo because he knew she didn’t like it. His acting was great, and he showed a childish side of Sun Woo, which I really love!
The other actors also did a great job and added fun scenes to the series.
Finally, I really enjoyed this series. It was short, soft and gentle. There were no villains. Everybody has great intentions. It was only about love. It was like a breath of fresh air!

If you are a sucker for best friendship to romance, it's exactly your cup of tea!!
I don't understand all the other negative reviews about this short and sweet drama. For me, a drama is really beautiful, if it can make my heart feel something: happiness or sadness. This drama did both of that. It felt like I was in pain when the actors were crying and I am so grateful that they were happy in the end.Just think of it as a movie, instead of a drama so that you don't go in with the expectations and later say that everything was squished into about 3 or 4 hours.
The 4 episodes were more than enough to get their story across and make you root for the main leads.
So, I hope you give it a chance.

Amazing
A story about a man and a woman who are friends since they were young. The man realizes that he is in love with the woman at a young age. The woman denies her love for him and is afraid she would loose his friendship so she keeps their relationship as a friendship. The silence and dialogue make all the emotion between both characters. The acting performance of these actors makes the story realistic and sincere. The twist that happens makes a very good ending. This is a short drama but it impacts your feelings through all 4 episodes. A great drama to see, especially on a rainy day.Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet, but quite boring
I like the actors, and the premise was sweet. But, to be honest, I spent most of the time thinking nothing was actually happening with the characters. It was just... boring. Not funny and no real build up to the romance, which I suppose should have been expected considering it's 4 episodes long.I think the lack of build up also made me believe there wasn't much chemistry between the two leads, and there wasn't any conflict in the story. I'd recommend this for the fans of the actors because it's fairly cute and doesn't take much time to finish, but that's pretty much it.

Aesthetically pleasing and comfort one-sided-love trope
This epic slow burn romance is such a comfort zone. I feel like I've been wrapped in a comfy cotton blanket. The rhythm of the story is like walking on tiptoes. The one that doesn't give an alarming vibe but instead calming as the story moves smoothly.
Ep 1 was plain and I didn't really get the chemistry between the leads. It's starting to get interesting at ep. 3, I can feel their strong bond. By the end of ep. 4 I felt connected to the story. It was painful and beautiful. Like I had an unrequited love and the feeling lingered with me.
In the end, we can understand why the man lead did what he did. Because his love is unconditionally.
I like that they make it short. It's perfect this way. It doesn't feel dragged or too long, just enough of proportion.

A slow paced, soothing lovestory
If you haven't yet, go watch it!! I suggest this drama not because of it's crazy production values or beautiful cinematography or anything as such. I suggest you this drama cause it's just a 4 episode-d short, warm and a beautiful portrayal of unrequited love. The story is very basic. TBH, if it's not for PHS's post on his instagram, I wouldn't even have watched this. I am glad I came across this. The cast did a very good job. Very less number of characters but numerous emotions portrayed. The screenplay, cinematography and overall production is very fair too. But I couldn't really embrace the songs/the lyrics written by Eunwoo much. I got the essence but that's it. This story or series isn't something you should watch or so. You can just watch this over a weekend. It's light hearted, no unnecessary scenes, and an overall a pleasant experience. I probably would not rewatch this, but I suggest you to watch this atleast once. Was this review helpful to you?
(Too) short and sweet!
I lament that this show was only four episodes. It's effectively movie-length when you add all the parts together, so don't expect some wildly complex (or even heartwrenching) plot. It was simple and straightforward all the way through.Naturally, one of the primary selling points of this show was watching Park Hyungsik and Han So Hee pleasantly grace our screens. Unfortunately, the chemistry didn't quite sizzle between them — the show was more muted and understated as a whole. Perhaps it was a consequence of the short format? Regardless, somehow I didn't feel too invested in their story.
If you're in the mood for something warm and cozy to brighten up a chilly day, this show might be the one for you. At a mere four episodes, you really don't have anything to lose by giving it a shot.

Disappointing
Didn't care for this one. The first half is slight and low key but pleasant, with charming scenes between the leads and appealing wintry production design to get the viewer in a cozy frame of mind. However, the second half was boring and/or frustrating. The show failed to develop the leads as individuals or their relationship satisfactorily. The extremely half assed gesture at the idea of a love triangle and the seemingly obligatory trip abroad+separation period were both maddening distractions. The shallowness of the story made the leads' inability to acknowledge their feelings toward each sooner feel contrived. We get one short scene with the leads as a couple and that's it, unacceptable! Was this review helpful to you?
Why so many have missed this ?
Everything about this drama was great. Even the length shouldn’t be longer. Best performances from both main actors. People are going to sau “My name” bu Han So hee is incredible in romance dramas and even more in romance/jealousy dramas. She gives such purity to her character, something we rarely seen from her. so why 8.5?Well as the title says “soundtrack” the music should have been better. The soundtrack, the song written process. Everything that deals with music should have been much more better. But as the rest follow we say amen.

The best kdrama to watch to unwind at the end of the day
It’s short, concise, cute and warm. We like it. The story wasn’t forced, felt very natural; I’m extremely glad that the writer didn’t drag the story to make it longer with a mountain of misunderstandings like others do. I mainly watched this to unwind at the end of the day after studying 12 hours and let me tell you it’s been literally a hug before sleeping. I really really recommend this if you’re into short friends-to-lovers stories <3The music was chef’s kiss, i feel like I’ll be listening to the OST on loop on Spotify just to remember and feel the cozy vibes of this drama. Thank you directors!

Most Rewatchable Drama There Is!
I don't like to complain about clichés, rather if those clichés were used properly to begin with. The writing, acting, chemistry, OST, visuals and camera work are some of the best I have seen on the small screen or big screen! The leads did a phenomenal job of bringing the characters to life. You truly feel real empathy for Sun Woo and Eun Soo. The love story was extremely realistic, pure and sensitive.I may be biased since I love the season, but being set in Winter gave the show an element of warmth that other seasons wouldn't have been able to. You simply want the two main characters to embrace each other when the climate is the most harsh outdoors.
Praise should also be directed at the secondary storyline of following one's dreams. They perfectly managed to inspire me to work hard for my dreams and to also uplift and support those around me with huge goals as well.
My only complaints are that we have no idea where Sun Woo's tarot card ended up and that Eun Soo's mother was never on camera for us to see how she reacted to the news of them ending up together. I loved the mom after completely saving Sun Woo from an embarrassing moment earlier in the show. It was the perfect way to teach the viewers a lesson in being considerate.
I highly recommend this to everyone! It being only 4 episodes gives this show a unique charm, plus it aids in boosting it's rewatchability and how it can be a great recommendation for a friend who might be new to k-dramas but doesn't want to invest time into a 12-16 episode show. Enjoy!
