SHORT, WARM, SWEET, REALISTIC
This very short drama tells the story of two best friends where one secretly loves the other.STORY:
The story is very realistic where many can relate. Unrequited love to your childhood friend but you’re too scared for them to know because staying just friends is better than losing that person, this is the situation portrayed by the male lead. The pacing of the story is very well executed, It’s not fast but not slow that you get to see the dynamic of the characters very well. It started with establishing the background of the story starting with the friendship then comes the unrequited love. You can see the sides of both character and understand how they feel which I think is the goal of this drama. Then comes the realization part which gives the story two endings where they’ll end up together or not. I liked that it showed struggles in both end but it gave a very sweet, simple but clear ending.
CHARACTERS:
I love both characters. they have very realistic arc where one person can relate.
REWATCH VALUE:
I will definitely rewatch this series. I like the warmth I felt watching this.

Exactly what it was supposed to be
So soundtrack number one was so good like so much better than I expected. I give it a solid 9 out of 10. Would I have watched 16 episodes of it? No, but that's what's so great about it is that it knew that it was too slow to be a normal drama, so they just did 4 episodes and it was perfect. Anymore would've been too long. Any less would've been too short. I felt like it gave you just enough time to fall in love with these characters and to root for their romance. You really, really wanted them together. After seeing their friendship for so many years, it waa just like you knew them and you just wanted them to be happy. You just wanted them to have a beautiful, happy relationship. You saw his torment and you didn't want that to continue. I really expected it to be so boring that I didn't really care about the characters. But the fact that it got me to care in such a short amount of time and it and in such slow moving plot line was very surprising. It was very aesthetically pleasing and wintery. The fact that they could invoke in me a sense of care and love for these characters and desire to see them a couple is a credit to the writing as well as to the actors. So Bravo!! Great Kdrama to end the year with. Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet, cute and short
It was good overall, not extraordinary or great, but cute and short. I watched it because Han So-hee and wasn't disappointed.
LIKES
- The acting was great between the main leads.
- Story was short and quite enjoyable. I actually liked that there were no side stories, and I'm glad that all the focus was on the main leads.
- Nice visuals, aesthetically pleasing
NEUTRAL/DISLIKES
- While I like that the story was short and straight to the point, I think more episodes (maybe 8 or 9) could have made it a little more enjoyable. Not that it needed that much, but I think a little more could be explored around the main leads (personality-wise, background, or even how their friendship developed).
- I agree that the chemistry was a bit off between the main leads. It was good at times, but sometimes it felt very bland like nothing was there.

A Beautiful Light Hearted romantic drama
A huge applous to the writer and the director for making a very light hearted romantic drama without any unwanted complications and boring love triangle. I had seen many these types of mini dramas before with some less episodes but not with a lead like them, that's something everyone is waiting just like me. That is the refreshing thing about this beautiful drama. The plot was very simple two best friends for a long 19 years realise their true feelings for each other when they have to stay in the house for two weeks. A romantic drama with a very cliche concept yes, but it doesn't matter when you have a great cute actors in lead. They could have been easily made this into a 16 episode drama with a very dragging storyline and so glad that they didn't, it's a sweet mini drama that you can definitely invest your time gladly..also no annoying love triangle.
The chemistry is one the key factor. Felt really amazing after the end.. Try it

Short friends to lovers story
The story wasn’t anything revolutionary but this was such a comforting show to watch, I would actually recommend it to anyone looking for something soft and pretty with some cute, a dash of angst, and a bit of romance. Basically, the plot between friends to lovers, unrequited love, emotions, and those moments... all done right. It probably would have been better off condensed into movie form, or binge the series in a mini-marathon.
Every scene was beautiful to watch and some moments were truly breathtaking. And there's a kind of comfort in predictability that makes it so much easier to settle in and take a break in that cozy atmosphere.
Park Hyung-sik steals hearts in every role! And in this drama too! He can emote a thousand words with just his face and eyes alone. Han So-hee has improved from her previous role.
The songs might not be memorable on their own, but they complemented the scenes and narrative with lyrics quite well. Short and sweet - safe, cozy, comforting, warm and no drama!

Unpleasant Female lead & love story doesn't work
This bite size drama series was just the right length, but the way the female lead was written made me dislike her. Her attitude of; " I'm pretty & entitled & give me, give me " made me not care. Likewise, it was hard to feel much sympathy for the male lead as really, he fell in love with her 8 years prior & hasn't she changed since then (I mean you HOPE so!)? it kind of boiled down to a comfortable, we know each other better than anyone else thing & I can't say that it felt like either of them was in love. Male lead was too easy going & puts up with everything because he's afraid to make waves that float him away from his crush ? Ultimately this romance did not work for me. Plus-there is a time skip...AGH! !! {oh & At first I tried to watch on Disney+ and it was dubbed which totally ruins it. I did figure out, though, that I can change the language setting on Disney + so yay for that !. }Was this review helpful to you?

Really loved this......
every single bit of it was refreshing, the dangers that come with love is truly frightening that's what I've felt watching this drama. The feeling of being afraid to open up about loving someone, the feeling of rejection, the feeling of ruining a beautiful friendship, the feeling doubt of the others feeling (if that makes sense), the feeling of your love moving on, the feeling of your love loving someone else, it was all just so beautifully done. Though not in any way perfect it was enough to convey it's message, through the acting, lines, shots, etc. It reminds us that love isn't easy as often times portrayed, it is also a responsibility. Was this review helpful to you?
Soundtrack #1
If someone is season watcher then this is perfect for winter/christmass. It is so cute and adorable, but it still a korean production so there is always a chance for crying. Acting is perfect but it is expected when there is Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik.Also it is perfect for binge-watching, it is so short, only 4 episodes which are not even long. Personally I believe it should be more popular and I will always recommend it especially if someone likes romance, cute type of dramas.
Note: it was my mom's second drama and she also liked it

short but so cute
i was so devastated when i found out that it was just 4 episodes . i waited so long and i was so excited so i was crushed but now i think it was the right choice. it ended very well. i just wished to see more of them as a couple but still so good. especially the chemistry between sohee and hyung sik was remarkable both on and off screen. i watched all of the interviews and they are amazing.seeing han so hee as a song writer made me feel things lol she was so good. im not even gonna mention how great hyung sik’s acting was. he is always good! he portrays the emotions so well.
i just finished rewatching it and now im pretending there was 8 episodes lol.

Quite good, great chemistry between leads
This was such a loving story that focused on the suppressed love that had grown for 8 year. The soundtrack is so appropriately matched to each scene. Soundtrack songs and singers were awesome to listen to while watching. I kept trying to place the male lead… then it dawned on me that he was Strong Girl, Heirs, and Suits..still good looking and has become a good actor. The female lead was the only other actor I recognized from other dramas. I would recommend highly. Congrats to everyone behind the scenes it is evident that hard work was put into this drama,.Was this review helpful to you?
It's the cutest short drama out there
I gave it a 10. Why? Even though it's not the greatest drama ever written, as it has an FL who does not quite look comfortable in her skin, with the music being quite bland for a music-driven series, the show does three things that elevate it to one of the best shows I have watched: It's short timing, smooth narrative and believable chemistry between the leads. You feel for both of them and get invested in their story early on. As the show is short, the distractions are almost negligible. As the boy next door, Park Hyung Sik is warm and giving but never demanding, which is the antithesis of his Hwarang /High Society/Strong Woman Do Bong Soon persona. He is almost unrecognizable (he is such a great actor). Han So nee looks pretty. However, she is a little out of depth on her own, but her scenes with PHS are crackling with energy, and it reels you in. As the show is all about them, her deficiencies do not distract. Her last finishing act, though, is outstanding. And they make a beautiful couple (PHS is portrayed so simply in this series that you tend to forget how incredibly handsome this man is, but then there are moments when it hits you, bam!). Watch it.Was this review helpful to you?
