It's a good law drama, but it doesn't have anything different
"May It Please The Court" is a drama about a lawyer named Chak Hee, like her name, she's a good person and tries to help others, but doing so she's got demoted to work in a rural area with Shi Baek, a lawyer that doesn't win any of his cases for a long time. They work together and get closer with time, that's when Chak Hee learns that Shi Baek is hiding a dark secret from her and that could be that he's the serial killer that's killing people lately, but the truth is more complicated than that.
The drama style reminded of "Lawless Lawyer", specially the relationship between the main characters, exactly because of that, the drama's flaw is that there is not romance scenes with Chak Hee and Shi Baek, they should have shown that.
At the beginning, there was that classic hate that turns into love, but the problem is that the love never came. HAHAHA'
The focus on the cases, in the investigation and trying to find the killer was really important, but I felt like the drama failed in not having the couple, it could have improved the drama's quality.
Jung Ryeo Won is really amazing, a great actress <3

Good Legal Thriller/Drama
This drama was better that I thought it would be. I thought the entire cast was really good. I haven't seen the ML or FL in anything but this but they both played their roles well. The greatest performance for me, however, was Kim Sang Ho who is one of my favorite character actors. He play Chisik to heart achingly, tragic perfection. This man deserves all the awards for best supporting actor. The last episode of the series is one of the best episodes of TV I have watched this year and his performance is why.
The series is about evil men doing evil deeds and not being hed accountable but someone decides they need to be. It's also a commentary on how the Court/legal system is unjust due to the influence of the wealthy defendants.
I really like the opening theme song and the the Silver linings song in the OST.

A solid story
Line between good and evil. What is morality in terms of law.Which side do you stand on and are you as lawyer just doing your job and does it weigh on your being on the right or wrong.
I love the tackle on this storyline and its just beginning, who am i routing for? I guess it depends on the side you have viewing from
If i was a corporate lawyer i will make sure my clients win even trampling on the right...and if i was a public defender i would stand by my client to seek some sort of justice or will i cave for a payoff cause the reality is...you wont win against those of power.
Seated to see how it unfolds.
It picks the curiosity so yes dear watchers...click play on that first episode.

Really good!
I loved loved loved watching this! Maybe because it reminded me SOOO much of one of my first and favourite dramas Prosecutor princess (like sooo much) i was really into it! I loved the way they keep you guessing as to whether you can trust some of the characters or not all the way till the end ! The plot was well written imo and the characters were great too !♡Was this review helpful to you?
SOOO good- I'm glad I found it!
It takes some time to get used to the FL as she was pretty annoying at beginning, but I'm glad I sticked through. The character development of the FL is amazing. Now, Lee Kyu Hyung totally killed it! I'm here because of him and he is SO good here.I love the bickering moments between ML and FL. It brought lightheartedness amidst plot that could otherwise be heavy. Also, Silver Lining as OST is spot on- total bomb! One of the best OST
I really enjoy every episode. It has a really great mix of humour, suspense, thriller and touching moments all mixed up together.
Oh- and that one liner as the ending- totally nails it!

Great law drama
The acting was superb. I shed a few tears. The cases were solved well and the cold cases were brought back to life. Not really any romance just a close bond slow burn kinda thing. Most of the episodes didnt need it but they couldve added it at the end a family court lol. The supporting characters did well. An attorney drana that was bingeworthy is rare but this is a gem.Was this review helpful to you?
Drama avvincete
