They are adapted from novels by the same author 'Wei Yu' and both contain Adventure and Modern Fantasy genres with friendship and working together to solve a mystery.
It's not exaclt the same thing, like they enter dreamsbut just the vibe of it is similar. This show is like a mix of sci-fi, mystery, fantasy as well as a subtle romance. I absolutely loved 19th floor and I'm loving The Seven Relics of Ill Omen, so I highly suggest.
Both dramas are filled with adventure, friendship, and fantasy. The setting is mixed with modern with supernatural elements.

- Fictional setup based on ancient Chinese myths and they share similar tropes of adventures, fight scenes, and love between two very strong male and female characters

Both dramas have a spooky supernatural tone, in both dramas the cases (or doors or omens) get increasingly more deadly.
Similarities:
-Great martial arts from quite a few characters.
-Some characters seem to be invincible or able to resurrect.
-Everyone has a mysterious background that we are slowly learning and coming to terms with. Same actor in this one plays a morally gray good guy while in seven relics seems to be one of the big bad villains.
