Not memorable nor original but cute BL office romance lacking substance
This BL office romance is centred around Jun (the boss) and Jun (the intern) who are childhood friends that lost sight of each other and meet again in a hierarchical context in the marketing team of a perfume company.As many Korean BLs, the total duration of the show is pretty short making it sometimes a bit frustrating in terms of pacing (you can often have the feelings that the sentiments and emotions are too quick to come) as well as in terms of plot development and logic. Here, it is a bit the case, I truly enjoyed the meet cute, the introduction as well as the development of the first 6 episodes but I found the ending quite rushed. It was still nice to follow but it felt lacking in terms of storytelling because some narrative arcs were not really properly developed. I more specifically really enjoyed the storyline around the idols world and I wish the drama would have expanded much more on that aspect.
I found the acting relatively average and I wish it could have been better especially in the more emotional moments. It is to be noted that contrarily to most Korean BLs, the main characters do not shy away regarding physical contact, kisses as well as sexual innuendos. The main leads managed to make those scenes believable even though it is not the pairing with the most convincing romantic tension. I wish there would have been more airing time for some secondary storylines as I really enjoyed the performances of Jung Ye Bin (as the comic relief girl) and Jo Chan Hyun (as the SML). Despite the scenario giving them almost nothing to play with, they left a really good impression on me and I would be curious to see them in other roles.
The music will not leave a lasting impression on me. It was nice but not remarkable. I found the production very good and colourful, with some really well filmed scenes being either the funny moments or the sexy times.
I would recommend this to people that enjoy BL story in an office setting. It will for sure not revolutionize the genre but it is a sweet drama, not memorable but which is fun to binge-watch.

It's not just Jun and Jun
*happy ending*First of all, why is it so damn short? There are a lot of plotlines that could've extended the series to a whopping 15-episode one. This is one of the best korean BLs I have watched. 8 episodes is really just not enough. Because of that, it felt like the plot was rushed by episode 7. It was redeemed though by the love scenes, chef's kiss especially in the line of Korea's BLs.
The actors are sooo handsome, they act great too. I am just a bit sad that the main couple didnt had that much screen time together. For an short series, it was really not enough. Add to that the second couple who has a very intriguing storyline that they didnt even use! Hello? Ex manager and idol? Who doesnt love that?
The cameo? My tutoryim heart jumped with joy when I saw them.
How I wish this was longer. Or something that opens up a second season instead of them squeezing the whole story in a short series.

Overall:Jun & Jun is hands down one of the most adorable and refreshing Korean BL dramas of 2023. I absolutely love everything about this show! It is pure comfort, filled with mega cute moments, great humor, and a very satisfying romance. It easily gets a high rating from me because it kept a massive smile on my face from the very first episode to the last. It’s a true feel-good masterpiece.Story:The childhood-friends-to-lovers and office romance tropes were blended together beautifully. The pacing is excellent for an 8-episode series, moving smoothly without any unnecessary or toxic drama. Seeing how they reconnect in a professional setting while navigating their past feelings is incredibly endearing and sweet.Acting / Cast:The main leads had fantastic, sparkling chemistry. They portrayed the professional tension and the cute, shy romance effortlessly. The way the boss looks at his intern is just everything! The supporting cast also brought so much life to the office environment, especially the second couple and the co-workers who added great comedic value.Music / OST:The soundtrack is bright, upbeat, and incredibly catchy. It fits the modern, busy office setting perfectly and amplifies all the fluttering, romantic moments between the characters.Rewatch Value:100% rewatchable. One of my Fav Comfort BLs of All Time!
The story is kind of short and there are a lot of side characters that arent really prevalent enough to build a relationship with the viewer but i love Lee Jun and Choi Jun so much as both a relationship and the people they are in the series. Their vibe matches extremely well and watching them gave me the same joy as watching Cherry Magic! Ive watched it 5 times in the past year and a bit and its just so so cute to me, definitely will watch again!Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet, cute, and all the Innocence.
This is such an adorable, light-hearted story and I re-watch it for the feel good vibe it has. It can feel a little awkward at times, but it kind of just adds to it's charm. Expect the cheesiness to remain throughout every episode.Plot was definitely paper thin, but I didn't need a diverse or in-depth plot to enjoy this. I would love to see a continuation that dives into a heavier plot like how To My Star got a second season, but that's just hopes, dreams, and pixie dust. Anyway, this is permanently on my rewarch list.

Choi Jun looks exactly like Do Do Hee xD I can't miss it. It's so obvious that it seems inherent to me now. His looks, movement, even his facial expressions - everything is so similar to Do Do Hee that it really amuses me. When I look at him, I see Do Do Hee and I have to laugh. It's like twins separated at birth. I hope they meet one day and see for myself how similar they are. But until then, I'll enjoy every moment I see Choi Jun on screen and can't help but see Do Do Hee. Haha - I needed to make the text longer so I can post it here.

THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. THE ACTING IS SO CUTE THE PLOT IS ADORABLE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AND ITS ALMOST OVER. I CANT WAIT FOR THE LAST EPISODE TO COME OUT BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY SCENES I HAVEN’T SEEN YET AND I REALLY WANT TO SEE THEM. IF YOU GUYS WANT A CUTE SERIES TO BINGE WATCH; WATCH THIS!! THE ACTORS HAVE SUCH GREAT CHEMISTRY I RECOMMEND!! 10/10i am kind of sad for the side characters as they truely love jun however jun & jun will always be the mains and they need to get together. i love this show so much definitely one of my favourite shows i’ve watched in a long time and i have watched quite a few bls in my lifetime including ones from all over the the world. I hope more people come to find this show it deserves so much more attention and definitely deserves higher ratings.

Good drama and recommended
Good drama with great story although it was lacking past story like childhood like how they did they get distant and why didn’t they keep contact and what about the engagement may be girl was okay but still they should have been plot something like cancelling official could have been better but still I liked the drama and the ratings which I gave was good because actors were good at looking and amazing acting also all the characters were pretty descent at acting and more important was the last episode had intimate scenes which wasn’t in Korean bl I think Korean bl industry improving a lot at this kind of scenes and actors had great chemistry I enjoyed this drama I think people can watch this recommend everyone to watch this drama hope to see the actors again casting I. i LOVE it so far
i watch bl and kdramas very often so i have some standards but i love this so far. i love office/school based romance so this is perfect. i can’t remember the last time i felt butterflies like i did with this show. the flirting seems so natural. also it’s not uncomfortable like a lot of shows, e.g. when the other person is pushing away or is obviously not comfortable. i can’t wait for the new episodes to come out. the only reason i didn’t put 10 for everything is because only a few episodes are out and i hope it’ll get even better! the cast are also gorgeous 😭Was this review helpful to you?

Jujur, dari awal udah expect bakalan sewoah drama sebelah, soalnya gembar gembor ngiklannya bujuk!Tapi pas udah tayang, hhhh nahh ITS fine, yang salah bukan pemainnya. Tapi produsernya, kacau lu produser! Parah banget! Jujur banget ini mah ya, Banyak Scene yang bagus cokk yg uwu ngena dan bikin jantung berdebar. Tapi ga semua bisa digambarkan sama drama ini, terus beberapa orng actnya menurut ane kek, hmmmmmmm nah but it's oke, i apreciate their hard work.
Overall aing suka sama scene-nya, untuk ceritanya bagus sebenernya, cuman ga jelas, kurang detail dan terlalu mengandalkan luck 😭 maaf writer nim,

Très mignon
J'ai adoré le couple principal, mais l'histoire part un peu dans tous les sens avec tous les personnages et mériterait de se poser un peu plus sur le couple principal. Cela va vite, un peu trop même. Les acteurs sont bons, les personnages sympas même s'ils auraient mérité d'être plus développés. Mais ça se regarde très rapidement, et avec énormément de plaisir. Je ne demande finalement pas grand-chose de plus.PS : la musique est, comme souvent avec les dramas coréens, parfaite.
PS2 : clin d’œil au BL thaïlandais avec l'apparition surprise de TutorYim

Quando o simples funciona bem.
Me desculpem os críticos, mas nada melhor do que um BL feijão com arroz que funciona perfeitamente no comum. E é exatamente isso que Jun & Jun é pra mim, um BL conforto, leve, rápido e maratonável num piscar de olhos. Funciona demais pra quem só quer uma bobeirinha gostosa pra desligar o cérebro sem culpa.E vamos ser sinceros, quem não gosta de ver um amor que vem desde a infância finalmente se tornar real? Ainda mais quando é fofo, previsível no melhor sentido e sem a menor pretensão de ser revolucionário.
No fim, Jun & Jun é isso, não promete nada grandioso, não tenta ser mais do que é, e justamente por isso entrega exatamente o que promete
