Truly a Gem in the history of Chinese dramas!
LLTG has been my favorite Chinese drama since I watched it a few years ago. I could not find anything better. I have found very good dramas, but nothing has been able to get to the level of LLTG. Character development throughout the drama was truly noticeable and amazing. Shaoshang's character changed quite a lot by the end, and the story itself was very well written. Ling/Huo Buyi was the best male lead I've seen in a long time. Instead of always opposing Shaoshang or always agreeing with her, he made decisions that he knew were good and supported her. This story made me cry and made me laugh. Yuan Shanjian was a remarkable second male lead. He admired and loved Shaoshang but never did anything to hurt her or break any of her relationships. I will forever recommend this drama. 10/10 drama I rewatched so many times that I can't even count anymore.Was this review helpful to you?

The Ending was Rushed
Follow Zhao Lusi in another STELLAR performance as a smart indepent woman in a period drama. The kicker with this drama is that every single character is written and acted out so well that it's impossible not to like everyone. Even the mother who i disliked for abandoning her baby because of a fortune teller, we'd redeemable and still likeable.The queens were an absolute riot kicking the Emperor out as he went through a midlife crisis every time the ML went through any sort of character Growth. He was also the biggest shipper of the ML and FL.The amount of dad jokes the Emperor dropped would make any dad proud.
despite the rushed ending IMHO it needed like 10 more episodes to properly wrap everything up.

Loved the twists & ups and downs
LIKEI remembered Yuan Shan Jian had another two nicknames, one being Yuan Shan Bian and the other one super hilarious - he said it himself when Zi Sheng was punishing criminals
When Empress Xuan and Consort Yue Fei understood each other - the conversation they had was touching
I'm satisfied with Shao Shang's decision that made the person who hurt her suffered for five years - if it's me I will never forgive

"Love Like The Galaxy 2" continues the story exactly where it ended in the first season, with Shao Shang deciding to marry Bu Yi. I didn't think it was possible, but the drama just got better!Watching Shao Shang and Bu Yi grow as a couple, how their love became real and mutual, how they care for each other, it was so beautiful. Of course someone would try to ruin their happiness and from the beginning, you could see that Bu Yi was hiding something.
I agree with Shao Shang, she was right not to forgive Bu Yi so easily. He didn't trust her, Shao Shang gave him too many opportunities and he chose to keep lying to her. She already knew the truth but wanted to hear it from him because Shao Shang would stay by her side, but Bu Yi decided to hide it and because of his choice, they lost 5 years apart from each other.
The best scene is undoubtedly when Shao Shang and Bu Yi make an oath, biting each other's arms. I liked the meaning, it wasn't something that would disappear, Shao Shang wanted to have a mark as a reminder of the promise she made to him.
Zhao Lu Si and Leo Wu are amazing together <3

The first part was a bit slow, but the second part was so good. The plot was interesting and the battle scene so good. The scene where he takes revenge and kill to avenge his family was amazingly done. The acting was on point and the ending was beautiful. I cried when the empress died, it was so sad. The emperor was funny and I love the relationship between the emperor and empress with the leads.
The plot twist were also good.
The only minus is that they did not give us their wedding ahah and their kissing scene were not good in my opinion but the chemistry was great.

I took 0.5 out of the overall rating because there was no real OST?? i wish they could give me a few beautiful OSTs that could listen to every night and cry even more.

Love with the background of revenge and true love
A series with lots of twist and turns, plot is excellent, charter growth of female lead is outstanding. Male lead has deadly aura , actions scenes, direction, screenplay everything about this show is bang on.Another amazing factor of the show is comedy parts, though this is revenge drama with love story it never fails to entertain viewers with its comedy scenes.
Leads chemistry is to die for....every single charter is used beautifully to their potential.
Double thumps up to the director for this masterpiece.

A modern classic ?
**My review is based on parts 1 + 2**I think this is quite possibly the best thing I’ve watched on Viki. Here are some of the reasons why:
- high production values overall
- excellent attention to detail, well dressed sets
- costumes felt authentic in terms of colours and fabrics, very little that felt obviously modern like you get in some historicals
- great cinematography, lighting and framing, some shots you’d just want to frame large-scale
- excellent music and sound design
- appropriate use of time slips
- great characters that develop and grow through different experiences but always make believable choices
- huge range of tone from humour to pathos deftly handled
- well-thought out plot, I didn’t get annoyed at any last minute drama that often gets thrown in for no reason, the whole thing was very well paced
- satisfying ending

One of the best historical dramas ever!
Love Like the Galaxy is beyond excellent! From start to finish, every character was impeccably written and portrayed. The chemistry, acting, and storyline were all flawless. But what really stood out to me were the supporting characters—especially the grandmother, the sweet cousin, and His Majesty. Episode 27 was pure comedy gold and had me laughing non-stop. Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew for delivering such an outstanding drama! Truly one of the finest historical dramas of all time!Was this review helpful to you?
Why didn't I watch this before!!! Never too late
Just amazing its been four days since I finished this drama but its still running in my head not interested to watch anything elseI'm in awe that I could connect to a drama this well👏
I have started this drama way back but seeing her loving that lou guy for random reasons I couldn't watch further and started again after a while and I'm glad I kept going part 2 made me fall in love made me cry, laugh. I could relate her taking stand and I can empathize with him
Wonderful series I don't think there would be any other series like this produced in the future the bar it set is very high

Can't move on
It is one of my hang out with with friends and neighbors to watch all Zhao Lusi's drama. She portrayed her part in this drama amazingly. and all her dramas, I could say that I started being addicted of C-dramas because of her but only her drama that we watch. and take note, we are adults and mothers and we watch as family and as friendly bonding with friends.I see many haters of Zhao Lusi but this makes her loyal fans love her more. She's a versatile actress and beautiful. I could say she's the only Chinese actress whom I like watching.

My favorite C-drama/ Comedy ever
I first watch this series in 2024, and even then it was my favorite series. I have rewatch the first 15 episodes many times when I want a light series with great comedy. I have watched this series 5 times. It has the best cast, great comedy, drama, intrigue. Great chemistry with the main leads. I have watched it again season 1 and 2 in 2026.
