Oh Yes! Here comes Tseng Jing Hua to once again, slay!

Tseng Jing Hua, the man that you are! He made me fall in love over and over again. Your Name Engraved Herein has a very special place in my heart and Pu Yi Yong and Birdy have the same lovely character that I adore a lot. Tseng Jing Hua is ethereally handsome! The outfits look too comfy for him. His facial expressions are so charming, got too many screenshots from it. Those deadly stares with sizzling eyes, kissable lips, perfectly defined nose-shaped, and his overall existence are too good for me to never get tired of seeing him. The best thing about Tseng Jing Hua is, as an actor, he can act. His speaking voice is so sexy and the way he cried can attack the soft spot in my heart too. This man is very like boyfriend material in general.

I saw several bromance clips of the two main characters from various social media platforms before starting to binge-watch the drama. They own the show and there’s no doubt that they are the main reason why the series is enjoyed by many. Their cute interactions are too funny and entertaining -comedy at its finest. My BL heart is even getting happier when Fandy Yan makes his appearance as a supporting role for two-three episodes. Along with Nonkul as the kid who lost his brother during a terrible night of their life. The best part -was the unexpected CPR kiss that Cao Guang Yan did to Pu Yi Yong during the finale.

They can also make you feel emotional. From the death of his father and grandfather to the featured stories of different kinds of left-over emotions in the world. The conclusion of the living corpse, the guy with the tattoo on his back, and the father who lost his child are my personal favorites.

The characters are perfectly cast. I love the mother and father of Pu Yi Yong, the police officers, the father of Guang Yan, Yi Yong’s two friends, and all of the actors in the show. For me, it doesn’t have the perfect storyline but it is enough to make me feel excited to watch episode per episode. I highly appreciate the efforts of everyone to make this show, a successful and memorable one.

I loved the fantasy, suspense, bromance, friendship, the stories and every emotion shown in this drama. The actors did an exc job. The story was very well written and unique . This drama felt like a very good time. I laughed and cried both . With every new episode there was always something to look forward to, I didn’t find even a single dull moment . I loved every character. It was healing. I really hope for a season 2 and wish this drama reaches a lot more audience as it deserves all the hype

Master calligraphy, you never know when you'll need to solve a supernatural mystery!

"Step aside, ordinary dramas, because this drama just crashed onto the scene like a comet. This show's got it all—coming-of-age charm, a sprinkle of fantasy, a dash of horror, some detective vibes, and a generous serving of family drama, all tied together with a quirky sense of humor.

Our main man, Pu Yiyong, goes from high school underachiever to supernatural superhero after a wild accident. And guess what? Now he can see invisible beings! Talk about upgrading your life skills.

What really steals the show? The trio – Yiyong, the reluctant hero, plus police officer Chen Chuying and med student Cao Guangyan. They're like the Avengers of solving mysteries, but with more laughs and fewer capes. The character development is on point, especially watching Yiyong go from high school troublemaker to supernatural Sherlock. And let's not forget the unexpected villainy of Derek Chang, who usually rocks the good-boy image. Plot twist!

What makes this drama a winner? It's not just about solving supernatural puzzles; it's about tackling real-life dilemmas, growing up, and proving that calligraphy skills are seriously underrated. Yiyong's character development is a rollercoaster of emotions, and Tseng Jinghua nails it with the right mix of confusion, frustration, and heartwarming compassion.

But it's not all serious business. Yiyong's mom and Guangyan's dad bring the hilarious vibes, turning the drama into a delightful rollercoaster ride. Life lessons sneak in too, reminding us to love ourselves, never give up, and avoid obsession—it's like a crash course in adulting with a side of the supernatural.

While the first two episodes might feel like a slow warm-up, trust me, it's the calm before the storm of emotional punches and plot twists. The finale is like the perfect bow on a gift—satisfying and leaving us wanting more (fingers crossed for a sequel).

In a nutshell, 'Pu Yiyong's Supernatural Cases' isn't just a drama; it's a binge-worthy, feel-good adventure. So, if you're in the mood for laughs, tears, and a quirky take on the supernatural, grab the popcorn and dive into this gem. You won't regret it!"

Great!!!

This drama was literally fantastic. I have never watched a C/T Drama that I enjoyed more and I have watched dozens. I usually only watch Kdramas and sneak in a Chinese or Taiwanese drama once in a while, if I find a good one that I can finish all the way through. There has actually been only about 15 that I have watched from start to finish and only 4-5 that I have rewatched. I have every intention of adding Oh No Here Comes Trouble to my rewatch list.
The cast was great, the story was great, dialogue was great. I have no complaints about this series except for the number of episodes it had and the fact that I don't see anything saying there will be a second season.
There needs to be a second season.
Also, I didn't like them implying YiYoung wasn't as handsome as Guanyoung. He is way better looking. Sorry not sorry.

A must watch for a rollercoaster of a show

I am so impressed by this series that is impressively well well written and acted.
Never have I watched one that can so effortlessly and so often switch between good humour in one scene to being deep and emmotional in the next then back again.
Acting from the whole catst was excellent and I hope the actor playing the lead has won an award for his brilliant perfomance of the surly and stupid Yi Yong who does what's right.
For much of the series it's basically a complete story per episode but for the last 3 it's so well done how there's a common thread that only becomes fully apparent in the amazing finale with its action, surpises and tears as well as the trusty humour.
To be honest there were some things I found confusing which wouldn't have been helped by the engllish subtitles on iQiyi that too often flashed up too quickly to read.

DEEP, COMEDY WITH A SENSE, UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD

This drama have the story, if what happened here was all true, everyone might be being chased by some other people's obsession or their own obsession. I expected less from this drama but it gave me more, If I were Yiyong I think I will not be able to do what he did , seeing ghosts and helping them, it is a series of helping I think it was not ghosts only but the call it here an obsession, things that does not exsist but exsisted because the human involved gave them life and they seems like an energy living in a certain place , it was an amazing drama , it explains deeper things if we are to analyze it, I did not get bored at all watching this ! I was honestly here for the bromance coz I am an avid BL fan but this drama gave what I did not expect , its about friendship, the squad with the policewoman , how nice that is !
The comedy of this drama was hooking , I was thinking about it big time and I thought , oh this is how Taiwanese comedies are like , their acting was not over , it was just right and understandable for a foreign watchers like myself, I like how Guang Yan and Yiyong was like having a too hate you to love you kind of relationship ! they seem to have no care with each other but they do,I like the part where Yi Yong was going to Guang Yans room at night and he was slapped by Guang Yan out of shock every time he goes there and them sleeping in one bed waaa me trying to remind myself that this is not a BL okay ? ! calm down , also the policewoman I forgot her name because their names are hard to pronounce ! her relationship with her boss at the police station HAHHA those were one of my favorite parts and when the three of became so naive sometimes and everything every actions they had , they seems like they look so not serious about whats happening but they are serious ! specially Yi Yong .. his face was too sharp but charming , Guang Yan was like an angel so love their squad.
I really thought it was the baker who was the main villain but I think there were not really main villain here , he was just someone who observed the squad from the beginning and happens to want to see his brother whom he killed and he wanted Yi Yong to let that brother appear ,and I think it just happened that he was the one who attempted to kill Yi Yong. Too bad that the baker was so handsome like an Angel but he was a Psycho I thought he would be really nice to be the guy for the police Woman .. too bad .. I really thought Yi Yong was gonna Die ! thankfully not !
At the beginning I kinda predicted that it will be Yiyongs Father's spirit that he's gonna meet in the end and I was not wrong , It was a very heartfelt encounter when Yiyong was almost dead , That was one of my favorite Part. To be honest it was kinda not satisfying ending, I thought it would be better if at least until episode 14 ! ugh gonna miss this squad big time .
Yi yong acted so well here even on Your name engraved herein it was a blast I love all their acting, Guang Yan I hope to see him more at dramas. About the re watch, probably not now but I think this drama is such a re watchable one like 100 % I might get back to it one day again.

A supernatural drama that warms the heart

I wasn't expecting much when I decided to watch this drama, but was I pleasantly surprised. I absolutely loved it! Normally I don't like to watch shows that make me cry, but this was quite the exception. Plus I was happy with the ending.

I really liked the onscreen chemistry between the characters Pu Yi Yong and Cao Guang Yan. It was nice to see how their friendship developed. They were never the buddy-buddy type, but it was clearly a bromance by the end. The cop, Chen Chu Ying, was annoying at times, as she was selfish, quick tempered, and emotional. But she improved as the series went on. I thought she ended up the kind of cop she'd wanted to be from the beginning.

I highly recommend watching this drama. You won't regret it.

When fantasy meets life! Go for it!

This drama was an absolute blast! I went into it without expecting much other than the fact that i'm rather a fan of fantasy centered work and oh boy was I served! The acting, the stories, the vfx, everything was great!

It was quite nice that the stories aren't that complicated, they're simple but still very much engaging by how common and humane they tended to be. The special effects, especially with the ink and red strings were nice and added something dark to the drama, reminding us that this is a fantasy/occult work. Imho, they did such a good job at balancing comedy, slice of life, fantasy and drama, that's why I titled this when fantasy meets life. It is, after all, just a bunch of stories about people and their feelings and the lessons about life and sometimes all of that can be magical.

The trio took a bit of time to form but every scene with the three of them was incredible, their tiki taka and friendship was nice to witness and to see grow to what it was by the end. It was lively and you could feel it trhough the screen. Besides, i loved that we had the chance to have a storyline for each of these characters outside their friendship. It made them more 4D.

THE CAMEOS!!!!!!! I was so surprised and happy to see familair faces, definitely made my watching more enjoyable!

Finally, i don't why this hasn't got a season 2 until now because the potentiel of these characters and their story is HUGE and it would definitely work. Hoping to meet them again!

Oh no! Here comes my littol review ✨️

Overall such a good drama, it hooked me really well. I watch this drama on my holiday season which actually I have 24 hours for doing nothing. I did finish this drama in 1 day but not type of drama that make me "needed to finish it now", it just because I have nothing to do.

BUTT, the actors doing really well. It is my first time (if remember correctly) watching Taiwanese drama so I don't really familiar with the actors-actress but 2 male leads have so much dynamic and I love it. They can carry the funny aspect really well, I do enjoy every small humor in this drama.

About the story, it also written really well. There is so much culture represented in this drama, especially calligraphy. Everytime PYY writing scenes shows up my jaw drop. Does the actor writte all by himself? if yes that's so impressive.

Ghosts, grudges, and calligraphy—what could possibly go wrong?

A Supernatural Mystery That'll Haunt You in the Best Way

✨ THE GOOD:
Tseng Jing-hua as Pu Yi-Yong: A delinquent with a heart of gold and a supernatural twist. His journey from skeptic to spirit-solver is both hilarious and heartfelt.

Vivian Sung and Peng Cian-You: Their chemistry adds depth to the trio, making their adventures feel like a cozy, albeit ghostly, team-up.

Unique premise: Ghosts born from human obsessions? Genius. Each episode delves into different emotional traumas, blending mystery with poignant storytelling.

Cinematography: The visuals are stunning, capturing both the eerie and the emotional moments beautifully.

🌀 THE "WAIT, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" MOMENTS:
Pacing: Some episodes drag a bit, especially in the middle. The buildup is slow, but the payoff is worth it.

Supernatural elements: While the concept is intriguing, some viewers might find the ghostly manifestations a tad confusing at first.

Emotional rollercoaster: Be prepared for tears. The series doesn't shy away from exploring deep emotional wounds.

💔 THE "FEELS" FACTOR:
The bond between Yi-Yong, Chuying, and Guangyan is the heart of the series. Their growth from reluctant allies to a tight-knit team is both touching and relatable.

The show masterfully balances humor with heavy themes, making the emotional moments hit harder.

🎯 VERDICT:
"Like a haunted house ride—scary, thrilling, and unexpectedly heartwarming."

Watch if: You're into supernatural mysteries with a side of emotional depth.
Skip if: You prefer light-hearted fare without any ghostly encounters.

Best paired with: 🍿 A cozy blanket, a cup of tea, and a box of tissues.

Real suprising gem I found myself wishing it were longer

Definitely one of the best dramas I watched for last years, which I nearly missed after reading the synopsis and watching the trailer. Watching the trailer, I thought this show would be cringy, with cheesy elements and silly humor. Luckily, I decided to give it a chance and was hooked already during the first episode. None of my concerns turned out to be true—in fact, quite the opposite. It’s a heartwarming series full of friendship, told with tenderness and humor. The appearance of the ghosts of the deceased is handled with the same tenderness, which ensures that, despite their sometimes eerie appearance, the show never veers into anything remotely resembling cringe, gore or Halloween party. The personal stories of the deceased are deeply moving. Beautifully woven into the story, the motif of Chinese calligraphy, plays also a very important role, not only being stunning ornament.
What I appreciate the most are the nuanced relationships between the main characters, and above all, one of the healthiest and most beautiful mother-son relationships I've ever seen in a series.
The cinematography is excellent, and all the actors deliver professional performances—something that should be the norm, but isn't always a given, especially in some last C-dramas I watched. The main actors exude an unspoken charisma that draws you in.
Usually, I believe that shortening the length of most dramas would improve the plot, but this time, I found myself wishing it were longer, which I think is the best recommendation.

Taiwanese hit

Generally speaking, Taiwanese dramas are usually either a big hit or miss for me. And this one was a hit. Unfortunately, the drama's title does not serve it justice, as it suggests some very superficial and cheap comedy content. Although it does give a lot of comedic moments, it is blended well together with the mystery aspect. You never feel like it currently is too lighthearted or too heavy, since it finds the perfect timing for both. I loved the bromance between ML and the medical student. Perhaps I'm a bit biased, but I would've loved or at least encouraged some BL here :p But even "just" as friends, they give you a lot of cute and funny moments and they are a joy to watch.
The only downside, but that's just a personal preference, I would've preferred some romance somewhere. But as I said, it also works well with only friendship and still is a really nice experience.
