Oh no! Here comes my littol review ✨️

Overall such a good drama, it hooked me really well. I watch this drama on my holiday season which actually I have 24 hours for doing nothing. I did finish this drama in 1 day but not type of drama that make me "needed to finish it now", it just because I have nothing to do.

BUTT, the actors doing really well. It is my first time (if remember correctly) watching Taiwanese drama so I don't really familiar with the actors-actress but 2 male leads have so much dynamic and I love it. They can carry the funny aspect really well, I do enjoy every small humor in this drama.

About the story, it also written really well. There is so much culture represented in this drama, especially calligraphy. Everytime PYY writing scenes shows up my jaw drop. Does the actor writte all by himself? if yes that's so impressive.

Ghosts, grudges, and calligraphy—what could possibly go wrong?

A Supernatural Mystery That'll Haunt You in the Best Way

✨ THE GOOD:
Tseng Jing-hua as Pu Yi-Yong: A delinquent with a heart of gold and a supernatural twist. His journey from skeptic to spirit-solver is both hilarious and heartfelt.

Vivian Sung and Peng Cian-You: Their chemistry adds depth to the trio, making their adventures feel like a cozy, albeit ghostly, team-up.

Unique premise: Ghosts born from human obsessions? Genius. Each episode delves into different emotional traumas, blending mystery with poignant storytelling.

Cinematography: The visuals are stunning, capturing both the eerie and the emotional moments beautifully.

🌀 THE "WAIT, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" MOMENTS:
Pacing: Some episodes drag a bit, especially in the middle. The buildup is slow, but the payoff is worth it.

Supernatural elements: While the concept is intriguing, some viewers might find the ghostly manifestations a tad confusing at first.

Emotional rollercoaster: Be prepared for tears. The series doesn't shy away from exploring deep emotional wounds.

💔 THE "FEELS" FACTOR:
The bond between Yi-Yong, Chuying, and Guangyan is the heart of the series. Their growth from reluctant allies to a tight-knit team is both touching and relatable.

The show masterfully balances humor with heavy themes, making the emotional moments hit harder.

🎯 VERDICT:
"Like a haunted house ride—scary, thrilling, and unexpectedly heartwarming."

Watch if: You're into supernatural mysteries with a side of emotional depth.
Skip if: You prefer light-hearted fare without any ghostly encounters.

Best paired with: 🍿 A cozy blanket, a cup of tea, and a box of tissues.

This is definitely one of the best T-dramas I've seen in a long time. It includes a mix of comedy, exciting adventures, heartfelt moments, and valuable life lessons, all packed into 12 episodes.
This drama is perfect for anyone who enjoys stories about friendship, whether it's between guys or girls. It talks about loss and how to cope with it, all in a way that's easy to understand.
I had a great time watching every episode. The story itself is interesting, and this is the first time I've seen a plot like this. Every episode featured a different story with interesting characters. The ending was really great, and I hope there will be a season 2.
The characters brought new ideas and personalities and it was a nice change.

Hilarious and heartwarming.

I want more of this chaotic trio. Yiyong is rough around the edges but really he is such a kind human being. The people around him are hilarious and warm at the same time. The cases are mostly heartbreaking and even the characters admit it but they are always solved in the sweetest ways. Yes I cried a lot but not in a bad way. I cried because Yiyong is just a kid afterall. A very good looking kid, mind you (even with the mullet).
One thing that I like the most is how everyone cries ugly!! You know sometimes it is so unrealistic that people in dramaland can still look so perfect when they cry, not here. Here people cry and have runny nose.
I am really hoping that they would make a 2nd season. They really should, 12 episode is perfect for one season but we need more story! We have 30-40 episodes of trashy dramas so why can't we have more of this gem, right??

I wish there was a second season

I'll start by saying this is my first Taiwanese drama and what a well done drama, the male lead an amazing actor, I want to watch more of his work.

To the story, a touching drama of lose, grief, healing and letting go, with a good balance of comedy to balance the heaviness of the story.

Watch if you enjoy supernatural dramas, with detective work, healing, righting wrong. Good writing and very good acting

“Oh No! Here Comes Trouble” is the kind of series that sneaks up on you. At first glance, it looks quirky and comedic — a story about a teenager who gains strange abilities after an accident. But as the episodes unfold, it reveals itself to be something far deeper: a meditation on life, death, and the invisible pain people carry.

Chou Yi-hsien delivers a moving performance as Pu Yi-yong — awkward, stubborn, yet irresistibly human. His journey from a reluctant troublemaker to someone who helps wandering souls find peace is both hilarious and heartbreaking. Alongside him, Tseng Jing-hua and Vivian Sung create a trio full of warmth, sarcasm, and genuine emotion. Their chemistry is natural, carrying both youthful energy and quiet sorrow.

The writing is sharp and unpredictable. It balances absurd humor with emotional truth — one moment you’re laughing at the characters’ antics, and the next, you’re holding back tears. Each ghost’s story feels personal and meaningful, reflecting the regrets and desires that linger after death.

Visually, the drama is gorgeous. The color palette shifts between dreamlike tones and grounded realism, creating a perfect contrast between the fantastical and the ordinary. The soundtrack enhances every scene, from moments of lighthearted banter to the quiet ache of farewell.

What makes “Oh No! Here Comes Trouble” unforgettable is its sincerity. It’s not about solving mysteries or fighting monsters — it’s about empathy, closure, and the courage to keep living even when life hurts.

Funny, touching, and beautifully written, this show is a reminder that sometimes the most extraordinary stories are the ones that help us make peace with our ordinary hearts.

DEFINITELY NEEDS SECOND SEASON!!!

FIRST OF ALL, TSENG JING HUA AND PENG CIAN YOU...AMAZING!!
OBVIOUSLY THE STORY IS 10/10, ALL EPISODE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. IT'S ALL CONNECTED AND BOY OH!BOY YIYONG AND GUANG YAN IS SO FUNNY. THEIR CHEMISTRY IS ON POINT. NOW I SEE THE REASON WHY PEOPLE FROM SOCIAL MEDIA KEEP SHIPPING THIS TWO ACTORS FOR BL SERIES. THAT IS BECAUSE , YES, THEY DO FIT TOGETHER!
THE LAST PART OF THE SERIES REALLY MADE ME CRY LIKE A BAWL, THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF DRAMA, NOT A BIG BUDGET (I GUESS) BUT ITS SO GOOD THAT PEOPLE ARE WANTING TO HAVE A SECOND SEASON WHICH IS REASONABLE GIVEN THE WAY THE SERIES ENDED. IT'S LIKE A HALF CLIFFHANGER AND HALF FULFILLED STORY.

WE WOULD REALLY WANT A SEASON 2,

Fun and short!

So this was alright?
I did appreciate the short length - the formula didn't have enough time to become stale.
It's just not at all what I expected from the title and poster - sure it was wacky at times, but then also surprisingly dark.
It kinda went places I didn't think it would.
Not sure why, but the cast in this was pretty cool and enjoyable.
Perhaps because they had so few episodes it was also well structured, things were set up and later paid off - it felt like a proper story with themes and stuff.
Yeah, I still don't think it lives up to the hype and silly high scores, but it's pretty good overall.

just so amaizng!

this drama was so good from beginning to end. the story flowed so nicely from plot to plot and even to the end which i was worried about bc i didn’t want the ending to drive me away and it didn’t. it ended so nicely and it made me feel fulfilled(?) in a way.

i loved the characters and especially the obviously flawed ones but they were just so amazing in their own way. i loved the different stories and how they all connected. the different characters and their own personalities but they weren’t over the top nor bland. they were developed and cared for and we can see their character development as well.

it was all just so amazing. def recommend!!!!

Oh Yes! Here comes Tseng Jing Hua to once again, slay!

Tseng Jing Hua, the man that you are! He made me fall in love over and over again. Your Name Engraved Herein has a very special place in my heart and Pu Yi Yong and Birdy have the same lovely character that I adore a lot. Tseng Jing Hua is ethereally handsome! The outfits look too comfy for him. His facial expressions are so charming, got too many screenshots from it. Those deadly stares with sizzling eyes, kissable lips, perfectly defined nose-shaped, and his overall existence are too good for me to never get tired of seeing him. The best thing about Tseng Jing Hua is, as an actor, he can act. His speaking voice is so sexy and the way he cried can attack the soft spot in my heart too. This man is very like boyfriend material in general.

I saw several bromance clips of the two main characters from various social media platforms before starting to binge-watch the drama. They own the show and there’s no doubt that they are the main reason why the series is enjoyed by many. Their cute interactions are too funny and entertaining -comedy at its finest. My BL heart is even getting happier when Fandy Yan makes his appearance as a supporting role for two-three episodes. Along with Nonkul as the kid who lost his brother during a terrible night of their life. The best part -was the unexpected CPR kiss that Cao Guang Yan did to Pu Yi Yong during the finale.

They can also make you feel emotional. From the death of his father and grandfather to the featured stories of different kinds of left-over emotions in the world. The conclusion of the living corpse, the guy with the tattoo on his back, and the father who lost his child are my personal favorites.

The characters are perfectly cast. I love the mother and father of Pu Yi Yong, the police officers, the father of Guang Yan, Yi Yong’s two friends, and all of the actors in the show. For me, it doesn’t have the perfect storyline but it is enough to make me feel excited to watch episode per episode. I highly appreciate the efforts of everyone to make this show, a successful and memorable one.

Bromance, you say? *insert side-eye here*

The series is absolutely incredible. How they play with emotions should be illegal, too. They have you laughing 1 second from the idiocy of the trio and almost bawling your eyes out from the stories of the spirits. It's definitely taken me too long to finish this one, but I can wholeheartedly say that the story of the twins was the most heartbreaking. And the baker being the serial murderer... Fuck! And finally, our boyfriends who weren't really boyfriends... Adorable. I do hope we'll get a 2nd season

This drama is the perfect blend of every genre

I loved the fantasy, suspense, bromance, friendship, the stories and every emotion shown in this drama. The actors did an exc job. The story was very well written and unique . This drama felt like a very good time. I laughed and cried both . With every new episode there was always something to look forward to, I didn’t find even a single dull moment . I loved every character. It was healing. I really hope for a season 2 and wish this drama reaches a lot more audience as it deserves all the hype
