AMAZING :)!
I loved everything of this K-drama from the story to the acting of every character (actor) to the music and OMG the PLOT TWISTS, they just left me stunned and I was amazed how the story and the characters devolved even better than I would ever imagined. Everything made sense, every of my questions where answered and revealed not too late and not too soon it was just perfectly connected and placed throughout the series and just made me more and more excited to watch the next episode and what would come with it, what would happen next and so on. It made me ponder and reflect on myself since I personally think it fits my life and thoughts very much. I‘m so happy I got the chance to have watched this series since it comforted me quite much and amazed me in every way. There wasn’t a scene for me that I couldn’t have understand, it‘s just SATISFYING. I know some like the opportunity for an open ending as to think of ways how it could have ended but this series gives us clues of how it will continue and even without them each individual is so strongly portrayed that we wouldn’t have needed them but it verifies our thoughts on it of how it’s going to turn out and we can still think of other opportunities of it’s following events. It has an amazing build-up from start to end and I’m also glad it wasn’t too short (I think 14 Episodes is very nicely and compact for the duration of it’s story). It had everything in it for me personally and I would say that they didn’t leave out any important aspects and also didn’t add too many unnecessary information for us either. I also search up the K-Drama with its casts and crew members after I’m done watching. Just gets better by seeing bts (behind the scenes) and I was even more overjoyed of how talented actors I know from other series too (wich I recently found out), have participated in this K-drama. Even after watching it I still listen to the ost (original sound tracks) of this series since I always feel better by hearing it and vibe to it. There’s so much much much… more that I could have said but I think it’s enough already ^^ so yeah, if I could’ve given it more than 10 than it would’ve definitely be much more OVER 10 <3!! A big recommendation from me :)) and a big thanks of make it this far. Lots of love to the whole cast and crew members and the K-drama itself FROM ME OFC (of course) ;) and to readers too :>Was this review helpful to you?
Best from My List so far: Perfect Blend of Sadness, Comedy, Revenge, and Romance – No Cringe!
I thoroughly enjoyed the show; it had me in tears. A perfect blend of comedy, sentiment, sadness, revenge, and romance that wasn't too cringy (I usually avoid romance series). The emotion from the mother-son relationship was great. I'm not an experienced reviewer, and I've seen some negative reviews. However, from my perspective, this series stood out as the best from my list. There may be better versions like this, but for me, it was the best among the series I've watched.I don't usually review; I rarely review the series that I didn't like and don't review the ones I like, just rate them. However, this series got my emotions triggered so much that it made me to write a review.
I'm searching for similar series, and I haven't had much luck finding ones that are similar to this. If anyone reading this has recommendations for similar series with a focus on parental love or related themes, please share your suggestions.
Don't spend time wondering whether to watch it or not-it's a definite yes. This series is exceptionally good, and it's one of the best I've seen in a long time.

amazing series!
amazing series! One of the deepest and most moving dramas I've seen. I say what most people think because I haven't seen this kdrama before. Every episode makes us cry, because it's impossible not to be touched by this story. A deep reflection on how difficult life can be for some people, resilience and love! The cast was masterful 10Was this review helpful to you?

The mother-son bond was the highlight of the show
The whole show felt very organic even though the story included some makjang elements. Kang-ho's mother was very strict with him and didn't treat him very nicely even though she loved him a lot. She always pressured him to study and didn't express her love for him which lead to Kang-ho having a very tough and lonely childhood. She had her reasons to be like that and had Kang-ho's best interests at heart but having good intentions doesn't always guarantee good results. The complex relationship between Kang-ho and his mother was portrayed so organically it made me cry and reminded me too much of my relationship with my mom. The mother is a really strong person who fought through everything no matter what was thrown her way. They both love each other but don't know how to express it or come out of their trauma. The way they repair their relationship throughout the show stole my heart. The actors did a great job at bringing their characters to life. Especially Lee Do-hyun, he was equally good at portraying all the stages and sides of his character; Kang-ho the cold prosecutor, the sweet boyfriend, the 7-year old in a 35-year old's body dependent on his mother. Everytime he and/or Ra Mi-ran cried I found myself crying too. The whole story was good but the mother-son bond was too good. A great show with tear-filled moments, funny moments and action.P.S. Mi-joo's kids were really funny and cute, those child-actors are really talented and deserve a shoutout.

MY TOP 1 KDRAMA FOREVER!!
this show holds a very very special place in my heart. evrything about this kdrama is so calming and comforting. though a lot of people find it very slowburning but its worth the watch!! i know a lot of people dropped the drama but they are clearly missing out. if your looking for something that's gonna comfort and heal u this is the one!! i have watched many many dramas but its still my top 1 kdrama. if you Don't find this healing idk what will. the storyline its just 🤌🤌. its shows about a mother who lost her husband when her son was very young. her husband was wrongfully murderd. she hires a lawyer but the lawyer was invloved in that crime and somone bribed him with money. she Didn't get any justice so she raises her son to be a very noble man. she raises him very stricly and forces him to always study without letting him having any fun. which shows us that she was a bad mom. later the son grows up and becomes an attorney but became distanced with his mother. the mother had no one by her side and became alone as her son ignored her and didnt like her. she womders where she went wrong. in the mean time the son dates a very rich girl. but that girl had other plans so she tried to kill him. due to the injury the son had lost his memory and started acting like a 5 year old Paralyzed. Was this review helpful to you?
Simply Amazing
I’ve been on this app for years and this is my first review. I can’t think of another show I was engaged with. I binged in a weekend. it had everything you’d want in a drama. the heartbreak was so gut wrenching. The show keeps you in an emotional pretzel from beginning to end. Each character was in the right place at the right time. Most dramas I watch, I’m thinking ahead to figure out what’s next. I stayed in the moment without the feeling of wanting to jump ahead. I just wanted to sit in what was happening in real time.
It’s an amazing masterpiece!

Get ready to feel
Honestly, I don't even know how to start a review, because I'm still a little shaken by all the feelings this drama caused me. In many moments I hated the mother's character, I thought she was a really bad mother, I thought she was really being punished for being such a bad and cruel person to her son, which is still true, but only at the end of the drama, more specifically in the last episode I realized that she is a survivor, life was cruel to her, her only weapon of defense was to close herself off from the world and "attack", just showing how human she was throughout this time and especially at the end of the episodes when he opened up to the world.Kang-Ho, on the other hand, never managed to earn my hatred, at no point did he give me the feeling of being a bad person, even in the first episodes where there was a certain duplicity of interpretations in his actions, in fact, for me, he showed himself to be an extremely benevolent person, at no point did he appear to hold a grudge against his mother despite everything he experienced, demonstrating that despite having suffered a lot with her, he managed to feel her love in his fearful actions, given all the suffering in her life.
He and his partner, Mi-Joo, formed one of the most beautiful couples I've ever seen in a drama, with love that overflowed in their eyes, it's no wonder they made two such beautiful and charismatic twins, leaving us with an ending that shows that he could finally be happy with his family.
This drama left me with a mix of emotions throughout all the episodes and made me cry a lot in several of them, especially in the last one, it was definitely on my favorites list.

The “Good” Bad Mother or The Good “Bad” Mother. Life has its turns.
The word has been out for a little while, that The Good Bad Mother is a super hit. I will just add my voice in affirmation. This drama is a must see, especially for parents trying hard to master this parenting thing, and having to listen to their children tell them that they are not getting it right. You become “the bad mother” in their eyes of misunderstanding. Anyone with kids knows that children never see the real you, the real parent, while they are growing up. Children just misunderstand the protective you, the parent who tries hard to sanitize their world. And yes, at times as parents we can be overbearing and we don’t get it right. This drama gives you the prospective from both points of view and how both parent and child are forced to recognize each other, through a shared misfortune. The “Good” Bad Mother is appropriately titled. The Story
The Good Bad Mother is about the struggles of a mother to raise her child on a family run pig farm, after the murder of her husband. It is a story of a mother’s revenge on the perpetrators of the death of her husband, as she recognizes that power brings results. Therefore, she strictly raises her child to be powerful, so that he can be the one who gets justice. She becomes The Good “Bad” Mother.
Nonetheless, her son faces adversity, because of a car wreck which leaves him with the intelligence of a seven year old child. She is left to start all over again raising her son. Through this adversity, both parent and child come to recognize the full intentions of the other. The story is well intended, but at times the story becomes predictable, even following illogical paths. That is a writer’s issue. However, this will in no way take away from two of the most outstanding acting performances of the year for 2023 for the mother and son.
Note: In the drama series Extraordinary Attorney Woo, we got Whale Moments. Be on the lookout for our cute Pig Moments in this drama series.
Quote: “Pigs use to roam free, keeping clean bathing in mud. People started to lock up in tiny pigsties. The pig could not bathe in mud anymore, so they began to rub their bodies in their own excrement. That is how they grew dirtier and more aggressive. However, what is really sad is that pigs cannot lift their heads, so they live their entire life staring at the ground. There is only one way for a pig to look up at the sky and that is to fall down”. The “Good” Bad Mother.
Acting Corner
The Mother—Ra Mi Ran (Black Dog) is outstanding as the misunderstood mother, whose sole aim is to protect her child. It would be no surprise to me if she gets a nomination for a Baeksang Arts Award (Korean Oscar) for 2023 for Best Leading Actress in a Drama Series.
The Son—Lee Do Hyun (The Glory) is the son who balks at the tiresome drilling of his mother, as she tries to produce a powerful man. After the accident, this powerful intelligent man is reduced to the mind of a seven year old. This character has super range, from acting as a seven year old to assuming the power behind revenge. Lee Do Hyun gives another outstanding performance. Again, it would not surprise me if Lee Do Hyun gets a nomination for a Baeksang Arts Award (Korean Oscar) for 2023 for Best Leading Actor in a Drama Series.
The Love Interest—Ahn Eun Jin has become an A-List Actress. I picked her up in her early years in the drama series ‘More Than Friends’, recognizing this acting potential. Ahn Eun Jin has two super hits in 2023 in The Good Bad Mother and My Dearest. Her star is being planted in the sidewalk.
The Good Friend and Second Lead— Ahn Eun Jin (Alchemy of Souls, The Uncanny Encounter Season 2) is the scene stealer, with his big personality. Ahn Eun Jin is a rising star.
Be prepared to have a solidly fixed smile on your face, because of the two outstanding child actors, Park Da On and Ki So Yu. The whole acting posse is stellar

That's what mother can do for their kids.
A heartwarming story of a mother and son who are haunted by the past, affecting their life views and resulting in misunderstanding and heartbreak. This drama shows that no matter what, a mother will always be with their son. Through ups and downs. As usual, great job for all the characters. The characters, both the leads and those around them, have excelled in their roles.
I also love the romance part of the story. Mi Joo is a wonderful woman, and Kang Ho, played by Lee Do Hyun, always smashes the character he plays. He was such a great actor.
Overall, you will cry, laugh, and everything in between. What a good watch indeed.

Emotional Damage!!!!
So we should get better Mother's Day gifts for our mothers. That's why I learned. I like the shows that have more action and less emotions, but this show was really good. I only watched it because the actor on it was on The Glory of which I also thought was amazing.Whoever wrote the show, however, was lifting a concept for a show based on another movie with Harrison Ford called "Regarding Henry". Still they expanded on it so well that it really became its own show.
The show was a little slow, at times, but worth watching.
