Better for an older audience.

Mature viewers will appreciate this drama more. Unexpectedly very good. The actors were right fit for their roles. Smart script. Contemporary romance of two couples. It gives a slight "S$x and the city" vibe overall. I liked the two fmls, its one with her own personality and issues. Yin and yang friendship.

wow

it's not just a soft porn as it's said in comments.....
1.put urself first
2. communication is the key
3.life goes on. having a break up, break down won't last forever there's a way out of it
4.don't hesitate and give it a chance!
5.women need and want sex as much as men do
6.don't lower ur standers

personally
8 episodes is enough but needed more sex scenes between the leads i'll never be tired of watching them
sex without love isn't intimated and i felt the chemistry between both leads and it turned me on! i felt alive lol it's been awhile since I've felt horny
every kdrama i watched so far they wear like celebrities even poor characters but in this drama they seemed... normal people. (i'm not so sure if they're low on budget lol)
i liked that everybody is mature and not the typical shy awkward fl who doesn't have a personality

It's not as ribald as you think; for the better.

This has to be one of the most interesting 'Sex' shows I've ever seen as an window into a culture, and for what it's accomplishing in terms of education and story telling.

Wonderfully, finally, here are fully-formed and rather realistic stories about women examining romance and sex and where the two intersect. Son Hui Jae and Lee Mi Na are familiar character archetypes. Lee Mi Na is the sexually liberated but emotionally closed off one, and Son Hui Jae is the one in a long term but unsatisfying relationship. Their stories are not going to shock you, but they're not supposed to. They're supposed to be relatable. Indeed, these are familiar ways women deal with sex and romance; they lead with sex and only sex, or they subvert their sexuality in the name of romantic harmony. Neither method works, and the show takes time to explore the feelings that led to both of these women making the choices they have, and what motivates them to make different choices. Both romantic storylines are sweet without shying away from the realities of adult relationships. This show really does belong to the women. It's one of the few shows I've seen where side characters are almost always women. There are really only four significant male characters. Everybody is pretty well-written here, our leading ladies particularly so, with Kang In Chan edging out Chae U Jae and Kim Hyeon U by a narrow margin. All the side characters get their moments; the show didn't feel the need to give everyone a huge backstory, but we dipped a toe into the brains of a lot of women, which was very nice. This isn't a dire watch; it's upbeat, funny, sexy, bright, authentic and whimsical.

The other function here is, inescapably, that of sexual education. They are seriously front-loading you with a lot of the sort of things that should be taught, but often aren't and can be revolutionary to some minds. Like that masturbation is healthy for you, sex toys are fun and not a commentary on skill, that sexual thoughts are okay- that you are entitled to have a sexually satisfying relationship with your partner. This is accomplished on several fronts; in the most direct way the girls will read their podcast script, which also includes comments from the 'public'. There are statements made by in universe authorities like, an author, doctor and sex toy sales clerk. The theme of the episode will then be echoed in the narrative structure and the dialogue. Often, there are little vignettes expounding on a topic.

There are not actually a ton of graphic sex scenes- there's one in particular which is re-used a couple of times for specific effect, but this show isn't about watching characters bump and grind. It's about them navigating their own sexualties and sexual desires in a more introspective sense. You might watch some soft-core writhing, sure, but the voice-over playing makes it less about titillation. What do they want? Oh, here's what they want. Here's how it makes them feel. How do they get it? Communication is such a big deal here which is amazing. The show does not deal in ambiguities.

It does, however, quietly, gently, with the utmost care and kid gloves, take South Korean men to task. It gave me some insight into some of the behavior I have found strange in dramas. It's not the most overt criticism- the show spends way more time exploring women- but it is there, and it is worth feeling happy about. The show feels timely, even three years after its release. It's one of the few shows I've seen that is even attempting to tackle the gender politics of South Korea in a serious way. For that I applaud it.

A quality watch for perverts, though the 'extreme sexual content' is more about the bluntness with which female pleasure is discussed and the number of vibrators and dildos onscreen. The sex these people are having is fairly vanilla- and there's nothing wrong with that. This show is doing more with talking about the psychology of sex and intimacy then the Heart Killers was doing with clothespins, and I am SO good with that.

Avoided a perfect 10 because our two leads were a little too Everywomen for my eclectic tastes, but I recognize the necessity of that. Overall a very good, fun and sexy watch!

This drama is about two best friends suddenly being tasked with hosting a podcast about love and sex. Neither are really in a capacity to give professional advice, but they do lend a listening ear. On one hand, Mi Na only dallies with casual hook-ups, and is not looking for anybody for more than a romp in the hay. Meanwhile, Hee Jee is stuck in a boring rut with her longtime boyfriend, who cares more about what’s on screen than carrying an actual conversation with his girlfriend. Though neither of them feels jealous of each other’s situation, sometimes they wish to improve their love and sex lives.

In the eight brief episodes, we see both women grappling with the idea that there is more to life than just having meaningless sex, and comparatively, that they are not obligated to stay with one person just because it is easy and convenient. Change is a thing; yes, it could be scary, but the braver you are to explore what you truly want, the more rewarding your life experience will be.

Both Ahn Hee Yeon and Bae Woo Hee’s portrayal of these women come across as natural. The two male leads are not too shabby as well. I find the drama very refreshing as it tackles mature topics with candidness. I love how both female characters developed as individuals when exploring relationships outside of their comfort zone. The drama fearlessly delves into different perspectives on romance and sexual relationships that may not align with conventional values or beliefs, but are not deemed wrong or right, nonetheless.

Short, sweet, and sexy

A kdrama about female sexual pleasure? With both explicit and hot sex scenes, a charming script, and accurate sexual health information? Who knew such a thing was possible.

This was a delight from beginning to end. It’s not that deep, but it has a relatable, earnest, and sweet story alongside all the sexy stuff. I found the main pairing more compelling than the second leads (while they were quite beautiful their chemistry was a bit off for me).

Overall a really fun and quick watch - I did it all in one sitting!

Romance Reimagined

I don’t know how to express exactly what I feel about this drama.

Usually, dramas with mature content like nudity and explicit scenes tend to fall into one of two categories: they either become literal corn without any plot, or the plot is so poor that it’s hard to watch. However, this drama doesn’t fit into either extreme. It’s neither overdone with excessive nudity nor underdone with a terrible plot. Instead, it finds a balanced middle ground.

For Korea, I believe this drama represents a significant step forward. I appreciate how it portrays sex as something healthy, rather than something to be ashamed of or looked down upon—a perspective often found in more conservative societies, including Korea. I learned a lot from this drama, especially about romantic relationships.

Both couples in the story were very engaging. One character transitions from a toxic, restrictive relationship to finding freedom, realizing she doesn’t need to rush into another relationship immediately after gaining her independence. The other character always sought freedom because she never felt secure, and her journey contrasts beautifully with the first character’s. This contrast effectively highlights the different dynamics of relationships, emphasizing that all types are normal. Importantly, the second female lead is not portrayed as promiscuous just because she didn’t have a strict, monogamous relationship. This nuanced depiction is refreshing and avoids negative stereotypes..

Unlike many K-drama that often stick to the same boring traditional romantic tropes, this drama explores the complexities of love and relationships that feel real and relatable. The inclusion of elements like HIV tests underscores the importance of sexual education, making the drama not just entertaining but informative. Overall, this drama feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s not perfect, but it leaves a lasting impression. It shows that a drama can be simple yet well-executed, with nudity as a component rather than the focus. The writer and director deserves commendation for creating such a memorable and impactful work.

A show we needed

This show was a pleasant surprise to find — beneath a raunchy premise, is a drama that 100% empowers women. It's about affirming women and validating their desires, their choices, and their refusals.

The friendship between Mina and Heejae is so sweet, and they went just fleshed out enough in this drama's short runtime, which I can appreciate. I think Woohee and Hani were incredibly charming picks for our leads, as they both just give great energy on screen.

Overall, this show was surprisingly progressive, advocating for safety, for pride over guilt, and for really having a good relationship with one's own body. We live in a world ruled by male gaze that prioritizes male desire, and watching this show is such a healthy step for women to let go of the shame and guilt that's forced upon us. A great watch!

Sex is the only content here

Many of the reviews claimed it as mature content, well if you ask for my opinion I will say it depends. Depends on how you define that maturity. If sex is the only parameter then yes it's a mature one. But if you level up maturity as a mental one then it is actually not really mature content. Anyone who just passed their teenage, having a sexual relationship is good enough to understand the content of this show. As the name said, the drama starts with some explicit sexual content, which was sure to shock the viewers I believe. But the rest of the drama is not the same. To be honest I did not really like the first 2 episodes that much but I kept watching on a fast-forward mode also the runtime to not long so it was bearable. After 3rd episode, I found things quite interesting.

Reading previous reviews and comments I became curious as though the rating is pretty good still some of the reviews suggested it might be a waste of time. Well after completing the show I can’t say so actually. It was good for time to pass. There was a story, won’t say a strong one but yes, the story does exist. But for such mature content, character development is very important I believe. But this drama has little to no character development for any of the leads except Mi Na. In her case at least they tried.

The story revolves around two girls, Hee Jae and Mi Na. One is dating another does not want to have a relationship. And both ended up in a reverse scenario. Both their stories are a classic friends-with-benefits relationship that ends up with being an actual couple. While the character development of Mi Na was good enough considering the short runtime, it was trash in the case of Hee Jae.

Let’s start with her breakup. At first, they portrayed Hee Jae as a conservative one, who can not even discuss with her BF her dissatisfaction in sex, faking it for 5 long years! But still holding it because she had strong feelings for her BF. But now she was determined to break up and the reason and the backstory between them were ambiguous. They portrayed Hyeon Woo as a male chauvinist but they put little to no effort to show how slowly the feeling of Hee Jae for Hyeon Woo faded away due to his negligence and carelessness. Even some small flashbacks would be enough but no. Rather, to get along with the Title they emphasize sexual dissatisfaction which seemed very out of logic and confusing at the same time. How the character of Hee Jae started and then how overnight she became someone who is begging to have sex with Chan made things seriously ridiculous and made the character Hee Jae a very very sallow one.

The story between Chan and Hee Jae is basically a story of two people who are out of love, one (FL) wanted to have sex without love and another (ML) wanted to fall in love again. I understand the theme of the show is Female sexual satisfaction but that doesn’t necessarily need to make the FL an easy one, she was portrayed like she will have sex with anyone, by anyone I meant anyone! She was ready to have sex with the guy from a blind date who in the end refused her due to his mother. What the F**K. then she literally stalked Chan everywhere to have sex! This was annoying to me. I understand she never ever had the feeling to have orgasm so desperately seeking for it. So maybe it was me only, but I didn’t like this concept at all. Even when Chan wanted to get close to her, and get to know each other all she was thinking about was Sex, all the time they spent together reading books, campfire, and drinking she just kept asking when they were gonna have sex. It looked like a maniac to me. If I were Chan, I would feel disgusted for sure. Though at the end of episode 6, she did admit it was the mood that aroused her but I didn’t like the sequences before that.

On the other hand, the story of Mi Na was good and enjoyable compared to the other one. Even though it was short, they showed why she is like this, only considers a good sex partner and fears falling. Though a part of hers desperately seeks someone's care. The story between Mi Na and Woo Jae was also good to watch, though a cliche one, you know what is going to happen still you will find it interesting. Even their kissing scenes were enjoyable. The first one is full of lust and 2nd one is full-on emotion. Liked it actually.

The show conveys that satisfactory sex involves more than just physicality. Touch, communication, and emotional connection are highlighted as crucial elements. While the delivery of this message falls short, it remains an enjoyable aspect of the show. The show offers a nuanced perspective on sexual satisfaction. Despite flaws, it provides an engaging viewing experience.

Oh for a Mr.Kang in my life…..

This short and snappy little series was perfection.all the leads were brilliant actors (definitely shouldn’t be saying this but the ML bodies………oof!). So refreshing to have such open and frank discussions on sex, especially from S.Korea -not their regular take at all, but it was so well done, never sleazy in any way and i learned a few things I didn’t know. The sex scenes -and there were plenty - were all in relation to the storyline and never came across as being there just for the sake of it. As i said in the headline special mention must be given to Mr.Kang , Park Sun Ho played his role sublimely, dont think i’ll ever forget the car lovemaking scene, it bordered on art.All in all this series brought a beaming smile with every episode , not a thing that i experience often.everyone over 18 should watch this, its entertaining, its informative, its beautiful sex scenes are thrilling .hoping there will be a second season, will definitely be re watching the first season, no prizes for guessing why!enjoy!

Raunchy romance sex comedy drama

Now that's the real shocker. A kdrama that's not afraid to go down the R-rated road!

It's somehow softcore porn and yet very romantic at the same time, which I guess only a kdrama could pull off, as it has all the usual tropes you'd expect and is one through and through... except a lot more sexually explicit. Is it the beginning of a new subgenre?

It's pretty good, and educational too. I liked how frank the characters were, both to themselves and to others in their lives. All the leads were great, but the audio editing was rough. Script had some issues too.

It moves at a brisk pace and has no real downtime typical of the genre. Very much enjoyable.

For those annoyed that most kdrama characters seem to be wearing chastity belts, then this is the one for you I guess? A welcome variation, if not a bit too basic overall.

Real! Raw! Raunchy!

If you're tired of slow burn romances and super corny comedies, look no further than here!

This show has plenty of romance and drama mixed in with a lot of laughter and lots of sexual scenes to keep you on your toes (so be careful where and who you watch this around)! It focuses on unlocking women's pleasure and embracing their sexuality in the most realistic, encouraging, and supportive way. There were all sorts of different scenarios and circumstances and I'm sure you could find at least one to relate to which I appreciated. As much as this show might be educating and fun for a more feminine crowd, it's eye-opening and enjoyable for all [mature] audiences!

I loved:
~ the soundtrack - I Shazamed every song I heard and played the opening and ending on repeat
~ the characters - the female leads friendship was super cute and reminded me of my own friends & the male leads were both really considerate and kind, the sides characters were great additions as well
~ the story - I felt like I was a listener of the podcast who got a behind the scenes look into the hosts' lives which was really enjoyable and well done

I would totally rewatch this with my friends someday!
