Bloody Flower

Medically, morally grey characters.

More or less obsessed with experimenting or doing surgeries on humans to save lives.

Human experiments / scientific cruelty

Both involve testing on humans that leads to death.
The difference is the motivation: in Mouse, it’s scientific curiosity and psychopathy; in Bloody Flower, he claims it’s “to save lives.”

Morally grey characters.

One kills for a cure to save many, another kills to stop others being harmed. One is a righteous lawyer who has to defend a murderer to save his child, another is a righteous detective who had to work with a murderer to investigate cases.

Although not obviously similar, the ML in both of these is a doctor and a criminal, and both shows have you debating the morality of his character. With a partial prison setting, and a partial medical setting, both shows hold a high suspense, psychological tension and interesting premise. I highly recommend both of these.
