Fun, heartwarming drama that gets better and better as it rolls along.
The first third of the drama has the look and feel of an old time musical, where one of the protagonists exclaims, “Let’s put on a show!” as the solution to whatever problem they’re facing. It had me worried--I’m not a huge fan of musicals or musical theater--but I needn’t have. This drama has a lot more going for it than that. The struggles of the four leads feels real, and current even with (and not despite of) the time travel element. (Actually, the time travel element was handled very, very well!) The cast was quite good and had excellent chemistry—Seol In Ah, in particular, was wonderful. Much like her turn as the 2nd FL in Business Proposal, she nails the playfully cute roll of Choi Se Kyeong/On Eun Yu. Every episode was better than the one that preceded it and by the time the credits rolled on the last episode, I was sad that it was over. Great show! Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
Definitely a much watch!
Gotta totally agree that this drama was really good, as it brought out a different plot of going back to the past. The actors and actressess were totally slaying it. The drama gave the vibe of teenage youth and how some love doesnt always work out but theres always someon meant for you. The drama always kept me on my toes cause its different from the usual kdrama plotline, its a must watch! Was this review helpful to you?
Truly a Coming of Age Masterpiece.
Choi Hyun-Wook is one of those versatile actor who can with his sheer acting skills make a drama a masterpiece. What an emotional rollercoaster ride this drama gives us throughout each episodes..I laughed a lot ,envious of their musical group, cried a lot and sometimes those tears are not my tragic or sad moment but instead they are my happy moments..
I'm impressed by every cast's performances.Superb performances❤️..But Choi Hyun Wook excels in everything..He only with his expression can make you laugh like crazy and cake make you cry like crazy...(He will be the most demand actor in the upcoming future)..everything was balanced in this drama..
Comedy ,humour, thrilling scenes, mystery, family, friends, friends group, music band, school era, 2 pair of romances, Time travel everything is balanced in a way that never get you bored in any situation...What a writing and what a execution and what a performance..Truly a coming of age masterpiece.
First two episode started off amazingly that hooked you with this drama. You can feel your own self in Eunn Gyeol's character. But Time travel was basically an illogical to bring out but it's not about the theme time travel ...it's all about how they will show us and executed their plan perfectly..
Lastly , I'm missing those group moments where they just chilling around, pulling each other's legs and the nagging of grandmother, Han Yi Chang's comedy and humour ,the son-father relationship and the friends group...Hope will get to see Choi Hyun Wook' s next masterpiece just like this in the upcoming future..

This is Cinema
Wow. First off, wow. That is all I have to say. I have rewatched this at least 4 times already and wow. This is just amazing. This really speaks levels in the industry. Absolute cinema. I am baffled really. How can a show be this amazing... ? I'm at a lost for words when writing this even. Like. Holy cow. My favorite show of all time and my comfort show. How did it take 2 spots already ? Who knows...If you loved 18 Again, watch this. Personally, it blows it out of the park for me. Similar vibes to it but also different in their own ways really. Don't get me wrong, I loved 18 Again. Thank you for reading. I took about 7 minutes to write this. I was so in awe on my first watch and now I'm going onto my 5th rewatch. Have fun watching this ! Absolute masterpiece if I do say so myself.

ah damn, i've watched this kdrama more than once, ah yeeahh... i've just finished watching this kdrama for the second time, u know this kdrama makes me nostalgic and idk how its feel btw... actually i don't really like kdramas with a "time traveler" theme but for this i can talking about it, i've been wanting to watch it again for a long time, i like all the acting actors here, there are Ryeoun, Choi Hyunwook, Seo Rina, and another one i forgot, this one her also played in the kdrama "Summerstrike" unfortunately i forgot her name, i just remembered her name is Shin Eunsoo, that's her name, what else do u have to explain here, i like their struggle in this story, it impressed meWas this review helpful to you?

A beautiful storytelling
I've dreaded to watch the last episode for a long time, because I knew exactly I'd cry my heart out. The story is absolutely beautiful and wonderfully emotional. Not only seeing, but feeling and being a part of the youth of their own parents - the time their life shined the most - makes your heart ache and your eyes open to thoughts and emotions you haven't felt before. The ending is absolutely soul-crushing, but also reminds us that some things are destined to happen. The lesson this story will tell you is, that we can shine most when both - good and bad - come together. That's the tragedy and beauty of life. Was this review helpful to you?
Found Family ?? Actual Family
I had so much fun watching Twinkling Watermelon! Time travel kdramas have been my obsession lately, and TW did not disappoint!First, the cast was incredible! All four leads acted their hearts out. They embodied their characters so well. CHW stood out the most for me personally, he really did shine! I cried with Ryeoun and SES every time they cried. The emotions the main cast and the supporting cast portrayed was so beautiful.
Second, the vibes overall made this such an enjoyable watch. The cinematographer did a wonderful job! The music was fun, the OST as well!
Finally, the storyline was great! There were a few plotholes, and I agree that the ending felt rushed. This easily could have been stretched to 17 or 18 episodes.
Overall, a really fun show!

A little gem, don't to miss it (´◉❥◉`ლ)
PLOT: ML, with hearing-impaired parents and brother, is overwhelmed by the burden and escapes by secretly playing guitar in a group. One day, in despair, he sells his guitar to a "viva la vida" store, which takes him back to the time when his father, a 10th-grade high school student, didn't have a disability (but had a crush on the haughty goddess from the neighboring high school, mother of FL, and didn't even see his future wife, FL2). ML will try to prevent his father's accident, to set him up with FL2, ... with the help of FL (the "goodess' daughter, also brought to this time out of desperation).+++ A magical quartet of actors: Ryeo Un, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah, Shin Eun Soo. The father-son performance will go down in history!! Two moving, poignant, and adorable romances. Kudos !!
+++ Flawless, perfect direction, with an ideal balance of emotion, humor, and suspense.
+++ Excellent OSTs (which I'll put on my playlist :)
+++ Intelligent, well-written, psychologically respectful story... and which, for once, respects people with disabilities. 👏👏👏
### No flaws.
=> I had put this series aside a long time ago (unattractive poster), but I'm really happy to have watched/enjoyed it, and I will gladly watch it again (to share this gem with my loved ones) ლ(´◉❥◉`ლ)

Petit bijou à ne pas manquer ლ(´◉❥◉`ლ)
+++ Un quator d'acteurs magique : Ryeo Un, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah, Shin Eun Soo.
BRAVO !
### No flaws.

Let this Drama Sparkle for You! JUST GO FOR IT.
Joined late to the Twinkling Watermelon Fan Club, but here I am. One of those rare, well-made, earnest kdramas that remind us why we love watching these dramas so much. The fantasy element sounded outlandish at first, but kudos to the writers for incorporating it so seamlessly into the main narrative. I loved how the plot twists were not very concealed, in the sense that we all could figure out what would happen next, but the way the plot twists were placed and executed is what made the watching experience novel and quite unexpected.Full points to the actors for doing such a lovely job. Personally, for me, Ryeoun felt like the weakest actor amongst all, but that doesn't mean he did a bad job, he was just 2nd best among the rest of the best. Even the supporting cast did a great job. Also, a big shout out to the stylists, getting the 90s chic bang on, with the outlandish hairstyles and baggy clothes and tacky colours.
The OST is not the kind of music I listen to, but it does stay with you long after the drama is over.
The best part of this drama is that it is earnest writing, and the humour (even though very overdramatic) is so earnestly done, you can't help but laugh at their stupidity. Life feels a little empty now after finishing watching this.

A must watch!
No words can describe the love I have for this show. The only flaw of this Kdrama is its title because, for some reason, it doesn’t make people want to watch it 😭. But seriously, if you haven’t watched it, you’re missing out!!!It was so heartwarming and made me feel so many different emotions. I loved the acting, and the couples were so cute. The way this show portrayed pure and genuine friendship while telling life lessons, especially about youth, is the reason why this show is now my favorite ever. One of the lessons I loved in this drama is that bad things happen in life regardless of how hard you try to avoid them, but you are the only one who can decide whether or not you should let that determine your whole life.
I have to admit that there were a few plot holes and some necessary things like On Eun-yoo’s part in the last episodes (I don’t want to spoil, but if you watched it you know what I am talking about), but nothing too big to get over.
I can’t wait to rewatch it in a few months 🥰 I repeat, it’s A MUST WATCH.
