It is an exciting watch
I should change my handle to "Shallow&Vain" because when Uhm Tae Goo is just so fiiiiine to watch and hear. Quite a leap from his usual noir projects but he delivers, with extra sharp jawline and cheekbones on the side. This show has all the cliché you can think of but served in a very entertaining way, not boring at all.
All the couples are interesting to watch. How they end up as couples is a joy to watch. I was a bit worried about Mi Ho's arc that she would be a lovestruck girl but no, early on it is shown that Mi Ho is an independent woman with sensibility and I am beyond satisfied to see how she deals with her situation.
There is nothing much to analyse but so much to enjoy.

I’m not in this for the angst so I’m not gonna lie after the first half, it became a snoozeShe’s so frustrating that she doesn’t see his intentions
And he’s tooo cute man I can’t take it, when she’s talking about her likes and dislikes and he’s just so invested that he was like yeah write it all down and give it to me, the dude is the greenest flag
before the synopsis change, and not reading it, ie not knowing this will be a cliche childhood connection, I had fun thinking it's an anti cliche, 2ml is the childhood connection and ml/fl loved each other as normal adults...
but If she’s 30, and he's 36, so as kids, it doesn't make sense for him to not forget a literal baby, if he was 12 and she was 6...
he was 16, she was 10... sure his life didn't revolved around love so he never dated, and he liked her again as a new person and he was happier she was the same kid
but she never forgot him, and again tho she liked him back as an adult and didn't know the truth till the end, but boom instead of more getting to know one another she was satisfied that was him
so things went down with that revelation, and 2ml became a creep that watched kids shows..
tho I am happy in small ways, they did become interested in each other just because, and their "dating" stage began before she knew he was the one she obsessively was looking for
and no matter the "destiny", I wished it wasn't such a big force in the plot, but otherwise they didn't have much plot and it's one draggy plot
Like I don’t understand how this annoyingly over aegyo fl unfit for her 30year old self, finally finally not only finds her creepy childhood crush, but also that adorable natural aegyo ml who she age shames for being older than her, and she doesn’t jump up at him and act double the cheesy aegyo together? Cuz now she’s too busy with work??
how did she never go around hugging him like dang girl was acting like she’s too good for him

Cute!
This was cute, but a bit too long in my opinion. I think 12-14 episodes would have been better.I liked how this was primarily a feel-good drama, the bad guys didn’t take up too much time and were more ridiculous than scary! The show was cute, if not a little cringe at times, but I still enjoyed it and laughed here and there.
I wasn’t a big fan of Kang Ye Na; she acted like she was the only woman ever, like she was the only person ever working hard blabla. I just can’t stand a girl that doesn’t read the room on purpose: flirting with the male lead and acting like she had a claim on him when he clearly doesn’t give a fuck.
The Prosecutor was also super annoying. 1) still lowkey pursuing someone who clearly isn’t available is lame at your big age and 2) he was a useless character. He only existed to make the male lead act on his feelings for the female lead (most of the drama), but other than that… I also never really understood why Mr. goody-good-pants even liked Eun Ha.
I also wasn’t the biggest fan of Mi Ho to be honest. Both of the girls did not give off bestie energy at all, it was really weird. I had to skip all her scenes because I found her so annoying.
I loved the bromance and loyalty between our little mobster family and also the way they warmed up to the female lead😍That was super cute. The show is bright and colorful and cute, I think it’s perfect when you need something light and sweet for in-between!💌

good but…
The drama "Mon" wasn't bad at all—in fact, it started off great. I remember watching six episodes in two days, which is a lot for me. As it progressed, though, I found some scenes that were skippable.I might be biased, but the prosecutor really carried the drama. His love for her was genuine, and I completely understood his reaction to her rejection, especially in the final scene.
For me, it was an 8, but the last two episodes felt poorly done or rushed. The fight scenes were cringeworthy, and the rest was dull.
This could have benefited from fewer episodes.

Criminally Good, Completely Addictive
do you like rom coms? WATCH IT!! If you like devoted male leads, found family, comedy that actually lands you'll love this. I honestly cannot believe it took me this long to watch it. The entire time I was watching, I kept thinking about how fun it’s going to be to rewatch this in a few years when I’ve forgotten everything. That’s how good it is.This drama completely surprised me. It’s well written, well paced, funny, emotional, and incredibly satisfying. Every character makes sense, every conflict feels earned, and instead of dragging things out with unnecessary breakups, it keeps introducing fresh problems that actually help the characters grow. I fell more in love with it as it went on, which rarely happens for me.
LIKES:
-The male lead. Period. Kind, gentle, devoted, emotionally steady, and SO lovable. Watching him slowly heal was my favorite part of the entire drama.
-The female lead is sweet, understanding, and refreshing. She communicates, apologizes when needed, and never treats him poorly.
-Their romance felt natural and sincere.
-Such a unique concept — former thugs becoming good people and running a company, done in a way that actually works.
-The ML fits his role perfectly. If anyone asks who should be cast as a CEO again, it’s him.
-Genuinely funny. I laughed out loud almost every episode.
-Conflicts get resolved in ways that make sense instead of dragging out pointless breakups.
-Great character development across the board. I loved learning everyone’s backstory.
-No ugly love triangle nonsense. Characters come together instead of turning evil.
-Every time I thought it would become predictable, it proved me wrong.
-By episodes 11–15, I loved it even more than I did at the start.
DISLIKES:
-The second male lead deserved a love interest. He grew so much by the end, and I really wish he had gotten someone.
This is a 10/10 for me, easily. One of my favorite romances I’ve watched in a long time. It’s funny, heartfelt, healing, and incredibly rewatchable. The devotion, the growth, the warmth — everything worked. I genuinely regret not watching this when it first came out in 2024, because this is exactly the kind of drama I’m always looking for.
If you love soft, devoted male leads and romances that make you feel safe and happy, do not skip this one.

FAVORITE ROMCOM THIS 2024 SO FAR
This is my first ever review and I am so glad that I'm going to make a review for My Sweet Mobster. I have been waiting to watch a drama that would able to make me feel good like how the old kdramas made me feel. Even the OSTs are super great. The kind of OST that would surely elevate all your positive feelings. Uhm Tae Goo, I am so happy you did this project and you were finally introduced to bigger platforms. Hoping to see you more on projects like this but I kinda also like to watch you as a villan like your role in Age of Shadows. Way to go our King of Noir! Also, all the characters are perfectly casted. Although the story is not new for old fan of kdrama like me (childhood friends to lover theme is mostly used concept), this drama has its own charm. I am going to miss this drama so much. I don't think I can watch new drama for the mean time. I think i might just binge watch for 100th time fanmade videos and their so cute behind the scenes. Was this review helpful to you?

Me Mafioso Predileto

Don’t miss this one
I didn’t watch this for awhile based on reviews. Shows what you should think of reviews. This is a great show. So good and well worth the watch. The FL character is a pain at first, but will grow on you. The man who plays the ML is awesome from the start.I started this one while I was in hold mode. I so glad I did. So many actors and actresses I recognized and like. Please don’t listen to the nay sayers, this is a goodie.

Mixed Experience with Lighthearted Comedy Drama
I really wanted to enjoy watching this drama, but five episodes in, I find myself struggling to get through each episode. I might return to it in the future if my interest resurfaces, but for now, I am dropping it. I don't particularly like the characters in this drama and don't find myself rooting for or empathizing with any of them. The female lead is quite one-dimensional, portrayed as a good-natured person, and the male lead falls for her in the first episode. The pacing of the drama feels off and somewhat rushed; the relationship and trust between the two leads could have been developed more gradually. The comedy aspect of this drama seems cheesy to me, and It might be because I'm outside the target age group, as I find some scenes difficult to endure. Without giving away too many details, the slapstick comedy seems aimed at younger viewers, around 13 years old, and feels overly exaggerated, which can be jarring. While I generally enjoy comedy in dramas, the humour in this particular show fell flat for me.
However, one aspect I really liked was the setting and background of the male lead and his colleagues. I was interested in seeing how they worked to overcome prejudice. Overall, this drama might be enjoyable for those who appreciate very lighthearted slapstick comedy.

(no spoiler).
CONSIGLIO?

Quanto à música, as canções escolhidas complementam perfeitamente as cenas, elevando as emoções transmitidas.
