watch if you like sweet uncomplicated dramas
I was very excited when this drama was first announced but right when I saw that it's going to be 16 episodes I knew that it wouldn't be a 10 out of 10. Certain concepts need less episodes, 14 or even 12 would've worked better. The plot wasn't neither here nor there which is fine but don't try to change it in the last two episodes. Also please keep 30+ year olds who act like tweens away from me. Well if you like safe drams without much plot and cute pretty one dimensional characters give it a go. Fine drama to play in the back and chill but nothing more than that. Was this review helpful to you?
Don't make a mistake of watching this colossal mess.
The story didn't had impact. The Male Lead was not able to bring justice to the role. it kind of seemed like a total mess to me. Female lead was .. lets leave her aside as I would seem like a bully.support characters were too much into over acting and stuff it made me feel like puking.
Villain was to darn funny, male lead was supposed to be strong but he was next level funny. female lead was not needed actually and if the show is performed without her, then also it would be the same.
Support cast was pathetic

BEST ROMCOM OF SUMMER 2024!!
2024 Summer's best and most unexpected romantic comedy has captured my heart🥰!Initially , the title and synopsis didn't grab my attention, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It is really exceeding my expectations! The male lead is a complex and so lovable character who balances a tough exterior but with a gentle , so beautiful soul! Despite his intimidating appearance and voice ( voice like The Godfather) he is actually sweet and adorable character, he is such a teddy bear especially around the female lead.
His tough exterior hides a soft and caring interior, making him a unique and refreshing character. The storyline about a former gangster turning his life around and becoming a succesful meat CEO is very compelling and his commitment and dedication to providing opportunities for ex- convicts and helping others is truly inspiring and is a testament to his compassion. This drama has shown me the power of second chances.
The female lead is a ray of hope and positivity weathering every storm with grace . Both mainleads are perfect match!
She is such a joy to him and their connection is undeniable🥰! Im rooting for them to overcome society's judgements and find happiness together. I'm so kicking for the next episode!!!

A cute and innocent tale of love and redemption
IntroductionGo Eun Ha works as a child content creator. She gets blacklisted as her promoted child's milk leads to creating sickness among many children. Losing her job, and home, she bumps into Ji Hwan who starts looking after her.
Prosecutor II Yeong is looking for evidence to dig up the dirty past of Eun Hwa. Chaos starts as the lives of these three different people from different worlds meet.
Review
Directed by Kim Hwang Yoon, this soft romantic story goes through the lives of people who have faced criminal charges before. Ji Hwan used to be a thug and has been in the money extortion business. His connection with Prosecutor Yeong shares insight into the dark past Ji Hwan has been fighting to move ahead. This conflict between good and bad stirs the tale ahead. Eun Ha's hard work and achievement this afr melt away at one single mistake. Another content creator Ye Na comes into action which is a blend of positive and negative light.
The biggest thumbs-up for the drama is that it is very much today's story. Eun Ha's journey reflects the turmoil of every content creator who is making money in this business. Han Sun Hwa as Eun Hwa is warm and vivacious. She is trying to understand the human Ji Hwan is and the life he has been into. The romanticism identified in this character is discreet which matches up with the graph of the story. Tae Goo, the man seen in critically acclaimed films has been debuting as lead for the first time. He is soft in heart and is a clumsy person who is trying to fit in the polished world. The Goo rubs off sweetness ever since his appearance in the tale. He is someone with a golden heart and the door of his house is open for all. The way the director distinguished between the two worlds adds subtle nuances to the tale, like thugs calling Ji Hwan Hyungnim instead of Hyung. The altercation between two universes is satisfying and humorous.
Conclusion
The overall story is heartwarming and light. While dueling in the past, the story goes through a laugh and love lane as two charming hot heroes vie for the innocent-hearted girl. Though the concept is not unique, the story will make you laugh and have fun deeply. Give it a try if you want to have a laugh ride.

10/10
I really recommended this series, it has a lot of scenes that are funny (what I am looking for right now) and some scenes that are really you could have perceived too, I loved it and I really enjoyed watching this after I watched a horrible movies/series to be delightful. You could also gain a knowledge in it especially when it comes to your emotions and surroundings. I don't know why some reviews are down, but this is really great, I assure you! Would love to wait the upcoming more episodes!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Cute and Unconventional in Some Ways
I decided on the whim to watch this, I was not sure especially after looking at the Kdrama cutesy pink poster if it will end up being too childish. It is a light romantic comedy but I like some of the unconventional direction it has taken so far. It looks like the ML was picked for the mobster role cause well he kinda looks like one, his look is unique and not idol like by far. Doesn't mean he isn't good looking in his own way, he certainly fits the part of what you would think of as a villain bad guy mobster. Even the way he speaks, its like the Korean version of the Marlon Brando of Godfather! LOL! At times its raspy and with a slight menacing tone to it. He is in contrast to the cutesy bubble gum FL who is the typical cherry and kind hearted character in these romantic comedies. He was a former mafia boss who went to jail and is trying to reform by doing legit stuff like running a food company while she's a struggling social influencer/marketer with children. Somehow, through a series of fated encounters they end up meeting each other. While it is light and bubbly and not meant to be realistic, it does gently probe our stereotypes of criminals and mobsters, do our preconceived notions of them mean they are far from ever being reformative much less a romantic lead to a FL who is completely opposite of him? There are some plot holes and would have like to see the romance build up more slowly at least on the ML's part. The ML doesn't seem to carry the inner darkness that we typically see in mobster criminal types but this is a comedy and it is refreshing they are flipping it around with a ML who is anything but conventional. Was this review helpful to you?
A mafia rom-com where the only thing dangerous is how fast the plot loses its edge. somehow good
"My Sweet Mobster : 7/10 – A Sugary Gangster Rom-Com That Forgets the 'Gangster' Part"🍬 THE SWEET:
Unexpectedly wholesome – More "reformed softboy ex-thug" than actual menace. Think Ted Lasso with tattoos.
Lead chemistry – When they flirt, it’s adorkable (if you ignore the glaring logic gaps).
PPL King – Product placements so smooth, you’ll crave subway sandwiches and soju mid-episode.
🔪 THE NOT-SO-SWEET:
False advertising – Promised dark mafia vibes, delivered fluffball redemption arc.
Villains? More like temper tantrum toddlers with trust funds.
Pacing whiplash – Switches between rom-com and half-baked crime drama like a drunk DJ.
💥 THE "WAIT, WHAT?" MOMENT:
That backstory reveal so rushed, it felt like the writers Googled "how to make trauma compelling" last-minute.
🎯 VERDICT:
"A cotton candy version of Peaky Blinders—fun while it lasts, but dissolves under scrutiny." Watch if: You want low-stakes chaos and a himbo lead. Skip if: You expected actual stakes or competent criminals.

God bless the person that casted UHM TAE GOO ??
MSM is unarguably going to be my best series for 2024….wow! I loved every bit of it, please don’t let the lame reviews deceive you, this series is amazing.I must commend the cast for their acting skills, everyone delivered their roles perfectly, I’m in love with the DEER MEN 😄💕 they have my heart… ML and FL had this amazing chemistry, like they were both perfect for the job, I love the fact that FL was so vocal in expressing her love for ML, very cute.
Second ML and FL too we’re amazing, awwww,,, first time watching a kdrama series and they did the deed so early 😄😄

Don't judge this kdrama
Almost all the episodes either got me lmfao or got me to cray like maybe 1-2 times which isn't so bad. This was actually one of the cuties and sweatiest dramas I have watched in such a long time. I like all the characters in this drama there wasn't a dry moment and it especially like the side characters too. I hate nothing about this drama I also don't mind the interrupting of the scenes between the ML and FL I actually like it a lot. Alright let's get started with the side character Go Yang Hui [Meow group boss] (Im Chul Soo) I know he's supposed to be the bad guy but he was so adorable that I couldn't even hate the character Go Yang Hui with all honestly this character had me cracking up from 1st ep when he and ML were about to fight buy ML just hold out his hand and he couldn't even hit ML it was hilarious also they way he dresses i can't take him serious. Don't even get me started with ML groups of guys they were the sweetest characters. Let's start with my favorites Gwak Jae Su (Yang Hyun Min) and Jung Man Ho(Lee Yoo Joon) these two duo were like a married couple and i like how Yang Hyun Min character has a short fuse and sometimes forgets stuff as for Jung Man Ho he has a slip of tong which make this drama more hilarious and they are both sometimes clueless that i can't help but lmfao. I swear anytime i see either Gwak Jae Su (Yang Hyun Min) and Jung Man Ho(Lee Yoo Joon) characters on screen i definitely know i will be cracking up. You the ML voice is off the charts for me like omfg his voice is seriously so goodWas this review helpful to you?

Mr. Penguin and his cute and friendly wife!
I really enjoyed watching this drama. You can see how every character develops on it's own. The thing i liked the most about development is when they finally confessed their feelings he started wearing more light colored costumes. He resembled how she made his world a little more colorful. This drama became one of my favorites mostly because of one thing...... Ji-hwan's friends/subordinates. They made me laugh to the point my stomach hurt. Not only them but everyone was shining with their own thing and everyone knew their place beside two characters but that didn't ruin the whole experience for me. I loved loved and loved it. Will rewatch it for sure.
I hope whoever is reading this to enjoy it too. Have a good time. ByeBye

AWESOME and DAEBAK!
At the beginning, I’m looking for a light k-drama, not stressful, full of laugh and sweet. Then I found this drama and I cannot stop laughing. At first I fell in love with the second male lead, but then suddenly the heart change! I got a crush with this Uhm Tae Goo. Aigoo! What to do??All the actors are good. The director really good in picking actor for the role. All actor know well their job. I still cannot move on. Thank you for making my life happy. Still i’m hoping to see in the future that these Uhm Tae Goo and Kwon Yul to be the leading man in romantic drama. Anyway please enjoy watching!

This might’ve legitimately been for kids
This drama had every trope that I hated and only one thing that carried it: the silliness and awkwardness of the MLBut even that grew old quick because sir…you are 36
Horrible and controlling SML who treats the FL like a child without autonomy? ✅
Nosy SML who keeps butting his head into everyone’s business and acting like he’s owed access into their personal lives, thoughts etc?✅
Self righteous SML who thinks he knows everything✅
Clingy SML who believes that having a crush on a virtual stranger means owning them✅
ML who repeatedly pushes the FL away every time things go bad like she’s not a full person in their relationship but a pet he can choose to care for or discard on a whim ✅
Everybody acting like the FL is a newborn baby in need of protection (even from her own emotions) and not a 30 yr old goddamn woman✅
A 30 yr old woman and a 36 yr old man freaking out every time they so much as touch (the first few times is tolerable but yall are dating?? What did you think happens in relationships?)✅
Slapstick “comedy”✅
Saint FL who’s more like an idea of “perfection” than a person(I don’t feel like explaining this one rn but iykyk)✅
THAT trope (you know the one)✅
I was done with the story by ep.11ish but I didn’t hate it. It was very stupid most times and a lot of the jokes just weren’t funny and seemed like they were written for 12 yr olds but it was ok.
From ep.2-11ish, things were fun and flowed quickly (minus the sml) so it didn’t feel dragging or exhausting but after that, I kept fighting the urge to turn the tv off.
I liked the pairing. I liked that she stood up for herself every time he pulled that savior crap on her and it’s no surprise that I loved how obsessed he was with her.
The side characters were surprisingly not the worst. I usually hate this kind of setup cause I find it obnoxious and pandering but I didn’t mind them too much. They were over the top at times but I understood their place in the story and ji hwan’s life as well as his place in theirs. For them, he’s their savior. For him, they’re his lifeline-they give him purpose.
It was a fun and silly drama and if they would’ve kept that vibe and shortened the story a bit, it might’ve actually been perfect.
If you’re gonna have a story where everyone acts like Disney channel rejects, why do you think Tony Soprano would fit in?
Believe it or not, at one point (when the highs were really high), I contemplated giving this a 9 or 8.5.
But the lows were in hell so it’s a 7.5/10
