I'm pretty sure anyone who has watched Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was reminded of it while watching Welcome to Samdal-ri simply because they're both healing romance dramas set in a seaside village. They also both feature a female lead who moves from Seoul to the countryside after facing some difficulties in her career.

both leads in both shows are childhood friends. i found both of the shows to be very healing and comedic as well.

While Welcome to Samdal-ri is sweeter, Our Beloved Summer gives the same vibes.
The males characters in both shows are adorable and heartwarming.
The female characters in both shows are no-nonsense career women.
Both are second chance romances.
ML and FL in Our beloved summer bicker a bit more than Samdal and young pil.
These two are perfect examples of romcoms.

Because they both are swoonworthy, heartfelt drama containing so much love for nature, people and yourself. These dramas give relief and reassurance to people to start afresh and just peaceful to wounded hearts.

both deal with family issues, especially the bond between parents and kids. both shows explore themes of redemption and growth, with characters dealing with past mistakes and trying to heal emotionally. they also mix humor with serious moments, making it feel real and relatable. the settings are also in small towns or close knit communities

Yet another story, which shares similar vibes such as family friendship romance understanding comedy. i wasn't so sure when i started our blues but by the end of it i knew it was a good choice to watch it. so if u are looking for something relaxing fun to watch i definitely recommend our blues

A similar background, and both have a similar scenic location. Both of them have a completely green flag as an ML.

Both dramas have rural setting while also showcasing city life. In both drama couple are mature and loved each other in past both drama has ambitious femal lead

Both dramas are set in the summer in the countryside. Both dramas have three siblings who make “trouble” for their parents, each with their own stories. Each drama has the one sibling who seems to be normal but makes the most trouble amongst the three. One sibling in each falls for the local guy, though the personalities and background of the MLs are different.

Same like Jo Sam Dal, Kiew, the ML in this story had to return to his hometown due to a misfortune. Everyone in the village calls him by his old nickname which he hates.
He who was a country boy before, changed when he got bullied in the city. Then, he grew up as a total city boy who dislikes the village lifestyle.
His return to his hometown teaches him a lot of life lessons and heals his soul through hardwork, family bond, friendship, and romance.

The FL decides to visit a province in the countryside to fulfill her late bestfriend’s wish to travel there together with her.
She worked as a Hotel Front Office Manager in the city, so the ML asked for her help regarding his tourism business in the village.
The whole experience she gets there heals her broken soul. This drama also revolves around tourism and business management.
