Last Twilight is one of GMMTV's best productions. I love GMMTV naturally, and this series makes me love them more!

Every character's growth was perfect and smooth. It was a sweet, mellow, lovely, emotional story. It makes you think of reality! All characters had their chance to grow and it was something we didn't know we needed but deserved.

Usually, most series don't have me crying, but you know it's a good one if you feel any emotions watching it, be it happy, sad, surprise, whatever it is.
Episode 9 was my absolute favorite! It made me happy, it made me sad, it made me cry, it was just beautiful.

Most people are very upset about the ending, which I understand. A line that Day said was "I was back to living my normal life." While, it did anger people, for a character like Day, after the accident, it had him shattered, so, to me, I was super happy to know he got his eyesight back! While some people may not be super lucky, it showed us that Day's hope remained till the end and if the ending wasn't perfect, at least it was a turning point in the series, be it good or bad.

Overall, the series is moving and natural. A must watch for sure.

The best series I have ever watched.

This was a very beautiful series. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. It made me feel so many emotions, happiness, sadness, heartbreak, hope, love just everything. They represented Day so well as a man losing his sight and a blind man. Loved the representation of single mothers finding love. The acting by Jimmy, Sea, Mark, Namtan, Cream, and the rest of the cast was so good. This series was well written, well acted, great music, and great filming. I can't think of a single flaw. I have never reviewed a TV show, this is my first time doing this because that is how good it is. It is such a meaningful series. It taught me so many things, especially hope. I hope more people get to watch this. If you are reading my review, this is your indication to watch it.

How can you not fall in love with this very green flag caregiver.

First, I really like the cast selection for this series. Even though this series has the strength of the story plot, as well as the background music / ost which is very good. It cannot be denied that the actors who play Mhok and Day are so passionate that the audience can relate to the two characters.

Second, the plot of this series focuses on Day who is almost blind and needs a caregiver to help him even with daily activities. This bad initial meeting leads them on an interesting adventure. And in the end, Day was able to get true love from Mhok.

Third, I like how they made it seem like there were two endings. You have to watch it until the end then you will understand what I explained.

Final conclusion, this series is very interesting to watch.

THE BEST TWILIGHT EVER!

I don't usually write reviews unless what I watched turns out be an art of masterpiece that drags my lazy ass to write a review on it. Where do I even begin? (Because I am crying this series has ended...)

Let's talk about P'Aof, the director. I know he is exceptional and always gives us masterpieces...but he went too far...I am sure he can't create a better masterpiece than Last Twilight. Because LT has reached such lengths and has set the bars so higher that's its currently somewhere in the stratosphere...P'AOF, THE DIRECTOR YOU ARE...

JimmySea served us with their amazing acting and insane chemistry with Vice Versa. I had no doubts about their acting, but Sea as Day outdid his acting performance. Its not easy to act as a blind person when you can clearly see. And also those micro-expressions he makes...I want Jimmy and Sea to win best actor awards and P'Aof as best director now. You can't turn a blind eye(ahem....no pun intended) to such a marvelous work.

Mark and Namtan were the best pair I ever imagined. GMMTV should give them a new series because their chemistry is chemistrying...I wouldn't mind a spin-off with them along with some scenes of DayMohk.

I wish all those BL haters and non-BL people see this work. That way they will realize LOVE IS LOVE and how beautiful the journey of DayMohk's love was.

Overall: 100/10. I will come again and again because this show makes want to believe in hope, love and life.

Best I have ever seen.

This drama is a credit to all who come together to make this happen. Kudos to all the actors who carried their part with a high level of professionalism, and exceptional skill. I cried for them, I laughed with them, I felt the despair of the situation, the hope they have and shared with each other. This the best Thai BL I have ever watched. The first night I could not run it off until about 4:00 in the morning! Truly enjoyed this because it was mature, had such realism, get sets, costumes, issues, joys etc. I could identify with each person and their livea individually and how they wove their way into others lives. The best BL series ever done (so far)

It has been an incredible experience, it is the first time I have cried watching a BL.

The script was perfectly made and had an amazing direction, the emotional scenes were well acted and I never felt cringe while watching them, which usually happens in BL series. The scenography was also very good, I highly enjoyed the changes in illumination and scene colouring.

The actors were amazing, Jimmy and Sea have perfect chemistry which gives credibility to their performance. The only thing that could have improved in my opinion was the costume design (although it is mostly because I hated Mohk's scruffy moustache XD). Apart from that 10/10!

What is the last image you want to see?

Thai Boy Love drama has amassed a sizeable local and international fanbase, built largely on a repertoire of fluffy storylines and served by a coterie of good looking male actors.

However, a main critique is that many Thai BLs have weak plots and are full of loopholes. They often require viewers to suspend disbelief.

Over time, BL fans are exposed to quality international entertainment such as "Dear Ex (2014)", "Call Me By Your Name (2017)", "Night Flight (2018)", and "Your Heart Engraved Herein (2022)". So it is understandable that fans' expectations for Thai Bus have also increased.

Thankfully, once in a blue moon, a gem emerges from the Thai BL industry.

"I Told Sunset About You (2020) ", "Bad Buddy (2021)" & "KinnPorsche (2022)" are widely regarded memorable works in recent years.

Amongst the creative teams behind some of these titles are independent screenwriter Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong and GMMTV's senior director / producer / screenwriter Aof Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon.

Last Twilight (2023) is their most recent collab, and has garnered an impressive 8.5 on MDL. It is a showdown with iQiYi's "I Feel You Linger In The Air (2023)" which as 8.4 on MDL.

1. Main character Mhok is a 20 plus year old mechanic. He was recently released from prison for battery and assault charges. His only remaining relative (elder sister Rung) took her own life after a failed nail salon business, mounting debt and depression. Mhok has had several ex-es (whom we assume were all female) and his most recent ex is Porjai, a waitress who is now single and pregnant by a philandering guy. Mhok is a rough and tough bad boy who smokes, drinks, gambles and fights. The kind your mother warned you about. But Mhok has a gentle soul and can be the sweetest, most caring and self-sacrificing person.

2. Day is a college sophomore (around 19 years old) and a rising national badminton doubles player. He is spoilt by his doting single mom who is a successful chef. She buys him a BMW! Day self-professes he is vain, foul mouthed and arrogant. Hence he does not have that many friends in the badminton club. His best friend is a female badminton player called Gee. Day is a closeted straight acting gay and he has had a long time secret crush on his badminton doubles partner August. We assume he has never dated before. Day got into a car accident when he had to fetch his drunk older brother Night home from a club. This caused Day to lose 80% of his vision and he blamed Night for this accident.

Due to twists of fate, Mhok ended up working as caretaker for Day. The pair starts their platonic employer-employee relationship addressing each other with the distant and polite Khun.

Mhok is grateful for having a much higher income as caretaker compared to his car mechanic income, and takes his job seriously. During this employment, Mhok encourages Day to stop staying inside his room and go out and reintegrate with society. Slowly but surely, Mhok realises his feelings for Day is more than that of a caretaker. Mhok confesses to his ex Porjai he likes Day. Porjai is not surprised because Mhok has unconsciously been talking about Day all the time.

However, this is one of the biggest loopholes in the series. If Mhok has always dated females in the past, then his acceptance of his bisexuality seems too simple / unrealistic. However, if Mhok has always been bisexual, then the show should have made this more apparent. As such this was never fully or properly addressed.

Jimmy plays Mhok. He has a really handsome side profile, with rich black eye lashes, sharp nose and wonderful skin.

Sea plays Day. He has full thick eyebrows and a very beautiful advertisement worthy smile. Both of them take care of their physiques well by frequent exercise.

I am very very glad they did not use excessive makeup or hair product for both main characters, allowing them to celebrate their natural beauty. I am quite upset why this poster is selected for the MDL library. It does not do them any justice.

Jimmy and Sea are relatively new actors. Prior to Last Twilight, they were cast for the 1st time as main roles in "Vice Versa". They have both improved tremendously in Last Twilight. Both are serious actors who give 10003%.

My favourite episode is Ep6. This is such a heart wrenching yet full of love scene with twists and turns. You will fall so deep in love with characters Mhok and Day, and Jimmy and Sea.

One of GMMTV's actual magnum opuses in terms of BL selections.

While this may sound exaggerated and emotionally-charged, that's almost what most reviews always are either way even if some people say they're being objective. Either way, this show was truly something spectacular, to the point where I can say that this is one of the best BLs GMMTV has ever made, considering their abysmal and mediocre plethora.

Acting-wise, both Jimmy and Sea did incredibly well, and it felt like the long pauses that GMMTV, as per usual, loves to do to jarringly fill out their usual 43-minute shows' timeslot did not feel like filler.

Story-wise, the storyline was good all around. However, I do share the same sentiment as other people saying that Episode 11 was genuinely unnecessary. But to say that everything past Episode 9 was not needed is where I would disagree. Episode 9 was pivotal for Day since while Mee's story ended in the book, it also marked the rebirth of Day in which he now, temporarily, has to live his life as a blind man. Going back, I did feel that Episode 11 was completely unnecessary and was inserted for the sake of having conflict; however, the conflict still makes sense considering the amount of times Day has said that he does not want to be seen differently. However, I do have to double down and say that it irked me when he dismissed Mhok's reason for staying, started being bratty out of nowhere (which was a little bit justified), and how I wish he could have properly apologized to Mhok in Episode 12. But hey, you don't always get what you want. However, I wouldn't say these episodes were what made the show bad. That's like saying HIStory 3 was terrible after the writers killed off Yu Xi Gu.

Music & Score-wise, it was good. I don't usually pay attention to background music especially when I'm enveloped with the actors themselves. BUT, the scene with both of them singing in the car in Episode 4 will always have a special place in my heart, and will always be something I would rewatch.

Rewatch value-wise, lol, I've rewatched this so many times and I haven't gotten sick of it. Like, it's just THAT good.

This will make you believe in love again

Man. This series was everything ! 2023 was filled with many disappointing bls, therefore I did not have high expectations for this one either. I thought it was going to be yet another cheesy bl but this time with a blind ml, but my oh my, was i wrong?

This series made me feel so many emotions. I cried with them, I laughed with them, I squealed at their cute little romantic moments, I loved every second of this !

A disabled character is very difficult to play, and Sea did a great job, as always. I have to talk about Jimmy's character 'Mhok'. So, this Mhok is a tough baddie kinda guy, and you could see how his personality literally CHANGED little by little. At the beginning, he was shown to be rough in behaviour, with almost EVERYONE. Day was no exception, but as he opened his heart little by little you could see how he started treating Day oh so gently, as if Day was a fragile glass utensil which could easily break if not handled carefully. His eyes softened, his tone became so gentle and he treated Day so so tenderly that a part of me melted.

The side characters, They were so beautifully written too ! Everyone had a story to tell, and as you watch you would be so ready to listen to all of their stories ! All the actors did such a great job portraying those characters !

I have nothing bad to say about this show and I could go on and on about how much I loved it. This was an absolute 10 on 10.

i mean definitely over hyped...

i would like to start with the poor and weak plot, i ain't no hater but the plot was boring and weak and had almost nothing instersting or new to it.
the plot just continues as a blind man trying to live in a judging society...

the cast was good all of them have the talent needed, none of them use their talent the right way.
the cast is good looking and have history in acting but i don't feel like the series suited them that much...

the ost was overall bad. not much to say about it, it just lacks something in it.

if you don't want your time being completely wasted don't even think about rewatching...
if i as a person who watched last twilight i sometimes got bored and had to skip.
i'm not afraid to say it a lot of parts when the end was approaching were just BAD.
they are boring and have no plot nor romance to them.

overall i think this series is not a must but if you are really bored you could try.
