The only thing that threw me off was the hole speaking English. Honestly Nunew is an amazing English speaker but- Also, if a guy who looked like that just suddenly moved to my house I wouldn't let my parents rest until they told me WHY IS THIS AMAZINGLY LOOKING DUDE THAT BTW FOLLOWED ME FOR THE HOLE DAY HERE??? I get the whole enemy to lover trope but it started just like any fanfic from back in the day on ao3.Amazing acting though, gosh they got so much better since cutiepie, wow.

Charan and Khanin’s first meeting at the tournament scene was a highlight. You see their differences right away: Khanin's arrogance, Charan’s critique, and that electric tension. It feels fresh and engaging

It's finally here. It's finally here!!!! I can't wait! Nunew the linquist is amazing. Zee plays his roles sooo very well. They're both excellent at what they do. You can see the dedication to the craft in the excellent, consistent work that they put put. Despite their hectic schedules. Congrats to the start of an historic show.

Watched episode 1 of The Next Prince and I’m officially hooked. The soundtrack is stunning, the camera angles are on another level, and Nu? His English is not just fluent—it’s smooth, confident, and somehow ridiculously attractive. He brings such a natural charm to every scene, it’s impossible not to watch him. And then there’s Zee—cool, distant, emotionally unreadable… and somehow that just makes him even more intense. He’s got that “I feel nothing but look amazing doing it” energy.

I have a lot of thoughts on this show. Me and my friend are watching this together. That was a long ass fucking episode holy shit and nothing happened. I just want them to fuck and maybe that makes me a bad person but I dont care. All of these damn Londoners can barely speak English lmao. And get those ads out of my face. They had to pay for the set somehow. Warranted crash out you just found out your dad wasn't your dad. And doesn't he do fencing why didn't he go grab a knife and fence THAT SHIT? Shit crazy. 8/10 that's it for mine. the show is a little awkward, the scenes feel a little rushed and the amount of drama that happened in one episode is a little overwhelming. overall, love the premise and the plot so far it’s an interesting dynamic between the two and it’s giving “enemies to lovers trope”. lowkey don’t like fencing as a sport and i find those portions a bit boring but i guess i can learn something new. 8/10 w show :)

They clearly put a lot of care into the production, the sets, the costumes, even the acting was solid. But that whole “London” arc? A total cringefest. It felt like a teen Wattpad fanfic with awkward English. I almost stopped watching right then and there.Still, I’ll give it three more episodes before deciding. Judging by the second half of the episode, I have faith that it will get much better.

Ep 1 was intriguing, the sets were larger in scale than anything we’ve seen before. Given it begins between London and the fictitious Emmaly we are immediately immersed into Khanin’s world. I like the scale, you really can’t get past the level of character detail this BL has gone through in creating this world, it really is next level, from the fencing apparatus and locker room, to the family crests, colours and emblems. Can’t wait to see more of this after only one episode.

this was a great EP 1, character introduction, background of khanin especially and his relationship with his dad. we could see the personalities of the characters too here. even the first action scene is great! perfect to introduce how skilled charan is as a royal guard

I like the main character of this series. Khanin who is brat, sassy and stubborn, in contrast with Charan who is stiff and quiet. First episode is really great

After years, I finally watch the drama. I love ZeeNunew so much 😭😭😭😭 As always, Nunew is so cute and Zee is handsome 😻 Their chemistry is so harmonious that I'm kicking my feet with happiness 😻😭😭😭 From the first episode, our couple's lips touched each other 😭😭😭😭 I'm so happy, thank you Pocky game 😻 I was very touched by Khanin and his connection to his title. It is very sad that they tried to kill the heir prince Khanin

For all BL and Zee Nunew fans, this is a series worth watching. From the stunning performers to the acting abilities to the cinematography, everything screams hard work, attention, dedication, and precision. Episode 1 began with a bang, and I have high hopes for the remainder of the series. Given the length of time it has taken to be released, I am confident that the director, editor, and performers will not let their audience down.

Untill the 45th minute I didn't knew what it will be because it didn't had that much story, but after that it got so much better that it may be worth the years I was waiting for this show

i love this episode. the introduction of the fictional country named emmaly was short but could be understood easily. i guess we'll know abt emmaly deeper in the next episodes. charan was so handsome when he painted in his mansion and then became a cool reliable royal guard on the next second. his fighting scene was amazing. his movements and the camera work are great. khanin was also cool in the fencing competition. i personally have read a story abt fencing before, so i was kind of familiar with the terms. khanin did a great job at fencing. i could feel his excitement whenever he made a fist or screamed in the middle of the competition as a form of a little celebration. charan and khanin's banter were funny. i love enemies to lovers trope like this. i didn't expect i would see a kissing scene in the first episode, but I'm not complaining. in fact, i love it. it can give a little push for their relationship development. also thanks to the friend who said that charan is khanin's type. i hope charan got the sign that khanin wasn't really hate him, he was actually his type. it was just because of the situation that made khanin behave like a brat to him. the scene where khanin found out his dad wasn't his biological father was heartbreaking. their relationship as father and son was so good, but it had to be broken because of the truth. his tears, his wishes to be just his dad's son, and his memories with his dad when he was younger made me want to hug him. but well, a hug probably can't ease khanin's pain. as i said, i love this episode. i enjoyed watching it so much, it was such a rollercoaster. can't wait for the next episode!

This series totally amazing!! I can say, they made it almost perfectly in every aspect. Actors, their acting skill, crews, and every people who were in it put their blood, tears, and sweat for this. The plot and cinematography also incredible. If people need any reccommendation for new series, I will bravely reccommend this series. Very worth to watch!! Okay so I'm really impressed, I watched cutie pie and tbh I didn't love the acting or the picture but here, OMG everything is really good, the acting has improved way too much, the direction, I love the picture, the editing and the camera work, so far is a good story with an amazing soundtrack, I love it so much and I'll definitely wait every week for a new episode

The Next Prince is genuinely such a strong start from the very first episode, it’s clear how much love and effort went into this series.Nunew’s acting has grown so much! He brings so much emotion and depth to every scene. We can feel everything he's trying to say, even in the quietest moments. It's such a joy to watch him evolve as an actor.And Zee? His action scenes are so cool and smooth, he makes it look effortless… definitely one of the standouts of the series so far.The cinematography is also stunning. Every shot feels intentional, and setting looks rich, detailed, and cinematic. This series isn’t just visually stunning, it’s pushing Thai BL to the next level. Ambitious, emotional, beautifully crafted!

I jumped into TNP with zero expectations HOWEVER they ticked all the boxes i am looking for. I love the dialogue between characters especially conversation between the King and Charan thats so genius. The actions scenes??? Thats indeed spectacular and i heard zee not using any stand in and same goes to fencing scene. AND HELLO??? nunew acting here??? I CRIED along with him. The set filming indeed screaming BUDGET and all the casts playing their roles very well. I love the plot is fast paced but at the same time gave each characters playing their roles. It is driving the plot and not otherwise. I am looking forward with how royal politics gonna be.

Esperei três anos por esse momento, com expectativas tão altas que, na reta final da espera, comecei a me preocupar com possíveis frustrações — especialmente depois de alguns BLs em que apostei todas as minhas fichas este ano e que acabaram sendo uma decepção atrás da outra. Mas, como eu imaginava... The Next Prince é realmente de outro nível. Estamos falando de uma das químicas mais poderosas da indústria, atuações que dão gosto de assistir, produção e cinematografia simplesmente impecáveis; sem contar a criação de um mundo totalmente novo e que eu estou cada vez mais ansiosa para conhecer e entender todo o desenrolar, cada camada que vai envolver essa trama que, sem dúvidas, tem tudo para estar no meu top 3 fav de 2025 (não precisa de muito para saber que essa temática é uma das minhas favoritas da vida — e a principal responsável por eu ter ansiado tanto por tudo isso aqui).

Everything was perfect about this episode. The score, the acting, the colour grading, the camera work. Freaking marvelous. Been waiting for years for this series as let me say this it's so freaking good. If You are used to bl series in general this is so freaking fresh and well executed it's actually crazy.

I really liked it. I’m excited to see how it will soon unfold. The clans, the characters’ dynamics. I love the angst on the first EP and the bantering. The theme song is on point! A very excellent first episode.

Bland Zee and struggling NuNew - acting isn't and probably won't be a strong suit of this show. In fact, acting got eclipsed by rather decent action scenes - and it seems the series will stick with them. The general plot makes sense, but it doesn't translate into a sensible script: why was Khanin kept in the dark about his identity for twenty-something years? Why was his death faked in the first place? Why was he separated from his biological father and was raised by a fake father? Who and why thought that was a good idea? Why did Charan approach Khanin in such a weird way, why the delay in getting to the point of Charan coming to the UK? Sure, all of that serves a purpose - to establish the two main characters, give them some initial interactions and generate some early on drama, but it's nonsensical at the same time. BTW: all characters we see in the UK speak horrible English - but why would they even need to speak English? All characters in Emmaly speak Thai, not Emmalian, so why couldn't people in the UK speak Thai as well? As for production quality: it's decent, but a lot of things look funny, like palace interiors, uniforms or most exterior shots of what's supposed to be the UK. It looks delightfully campy, but I doubt it was intentional; I'm sure the prop department wanted everything to look glamorous and serious - in a fantasy or fairytale kind of way.

The Next Prince came after almost 3 years of waiting, so as a fan of ZeeNunew, I am expecting a lot. The first episode gave the necessary foundation of the story. Setting the fictional country is a challenge that this series has to tackle before delivering the whole production, and surprisingly, they did well. Everything was spoon-fed, so viewers don't have to feel the awkwardness of the fantasy set. Sadly, a loud back sound is still homework for Mandee Work. And a bit problem with cuts, although I do get how they have so many good frames and pictures that they want to fit into the story. I do hope for the next eps, everything will get better. But for sure... story, production, action, and acting deserve a solid 8.5.

Honestly, I went into The Next Prince thinking it might be just another BL drama, but I was pleasantly surprised! The way the episode opened with that detailed map and a bit of background narration immediately pulled me in. It set the tone without dragging, which is rare in fantasy dramas.Visually, this episode is top tier. The locations are stunning, the props and set design feel authentic, and the costume design is seriously impressive. Everything looks polished and well thought out. That fight scene? So well choreographed! It didn’t feel over-the-top or forced, it actually added to the story rather than distracting from it.What really stood out to me is how smooth everything felt. The pacing, the acting, even the dialogue, there was no cringe, no awkwardness. It all flowed naturally and kept me interested the whole time. I've seen a lot of old-setting/fantasy dramas, but this one already feels like it’s on a different level.If the rest of the series keeps up this quality, we’re in for a seriously good ride.

(A very long and honest review coming from a bl stan or bl fan that have watched HUNDREDS of bl) Honestly, this is just such a good bl. Why? you may ask. First of all, let's talk about the budget. The budget that was put in the series was high, and the budget was spent well because the settings, the props, and the outfit was amazing. It made the series alive, and It was very related to the series. The change of Nunew's hair color was a good decision because it made him look more a "royalty". Not to mention, all the extra actors were amazing and there's alot of foreigners which made the series very realistic because it's not some kind of just random asian dude. Second, let's talk about the acting. The acting was phenomenal, you could see that they put alot of efforts in the workshop, in practing. Even nin's friend was good at acting, everyone was good at acting. I never felt anyone of them saying an awkward line. Nunew's acting improved alot, well the others also improved but his acting stood out the most for me. Third and last, most importantly the plotline and how the story flow at the first chapter. We were introduced with Khanin's life, and this and that. I won't spoil too much since I want people to enjoy the first episode without spoilers. The plotline was veeryy good because It didn't felt rush, each scene had a purpose and it's not just a filler scene. It'll make you wonder on what's gonna happen in the next episode. Each characters introduced in episode 1 were properly Introduced and they just didn't pop out of nowhere (some of them did but the delivery of characters didn't seem awkward that's why I stated they didn't pop out of nowhere). The plotline and lore of the whole series is very interesting, and thrilling as it is also mixed with action. Another, It's so fun seeing how charan, and nin's meet up was made, It's giving enemies to lovers. Additional, the cinematography and choice of music is chef kiss. This is why I think it deserves the 10/10 and this is also why I think it's the best thai bl that exist in my perspective. I couldn't find any mistakes or any bad this and that in the series, or something that they should change. I think the only thing that I want them to change is to release it all.. LOL just kidding. Really, there's no boring part. That's it for my long review, hope that helps! May "The Next Prince" continues to live up in our expectations, and may this series gain alot of fame. It'll be a loss if people miss this series out. The budget is budgetting fr.

This is just my personal opinion, and please don’t feel attacked by it in any way. But as someone who’s a big fan of all sorts of fantasy movies and series like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Narnia, Eragon, etc.—in terms of quality and aesthetics, this definitely fits right in with that list so far. I really hope to see some beautiful nature shots in the upcoming episodes, like in The Lord of the Rings. We've already gotten a few breadcrumbs of the lore, but I’m really craving more worldbuilding and the chance to fully immerse myself in the world of Emmaly. Oh, and the fantasy map at the beginning of the episode made me so happy as a big fantasy reader. It felt like opening a new book where the first two pages are entirely dedicated to the map of the world we’re about to explore.
