Best ever!
I've watched season 2 four times and I can't get enough.I was surprised watching a Taiwanese BL as I had never seen anything from Taiwan so I didn't know what to expect.
In the first few minutes of Part 1, I thought it would be a crack! Fic, but I was amazed by the direction the series took. A good direction, as the plot was planned for both seasons. This is great because they know where to go, what to do, and how to act.
Sam and Yu managed to get the message across without being forced. They support each other, and they take care of their well-being. Their chemistry is beautiful, as the viewer can identify the pain, the care, the passion.
I was also happy to see a TV show where it doesn't matter who you choose to love. We had 3 couples with completely different stories.
Liu Bing Wei and Shi Zhe Yu were unexpected. We had a brief idea of them in the first part. With Zhe Yu having a crush on Shi De and Bing Wei finding out (? maybe he knew already) he likes Zhe Yu. And in the end, when everybody was surprised to see them together, I can say that we, viewers, were also surprised. In some scenes, we noticed the affection Bing Wei had for Zhe Yu, but I didn't take it too seriously, because Bing Wei is a sweetheart to everyone.
So when they came back in the second part with a solid relationship for the last 5 years, I was surprised, but I thought it was cute. The marriage proposal was also a good idea. Hope we can see more of them in season three. I know Evan and Richard were doing a lot more in their workshop than what was shown in the scenes.
In the beginning, Pei Shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan made me a little uncomfortable, mainly because of their past, but in the end, I was finding everything beautiful. I still think they didn't explain Pei Shou Yi's illness very well. He had a peculiar way of treating his patients and only, later on, we found out he also has a similar disease as Zhen Xuan. Let's see what they will bring to Season 3.
And of course Gao Shide and Zhou Shuyi. First, learn to communicate. Second, Zhou Shu Yi’s dad was a very unexpected addition and I laugh a lot. I felt so bad for Shi De in part 1. Like, I hate to see someone humiliate themselves for others... Like, appreciate yourself, babe. But he won in the end.
And Shu Yi was clueless for so long. Happy that he could figure it out sooner than later.
One thing that I like about We Best Love, is how hard they worked on the workshops, how dedicated they were to building the character. I can’t wait for season 3.

Wow drama
This is so great story omg i really enjoyed the drama and the lead is so cute I'm in love with his acting and cute face and all the actors are really great story is wow and music is wow but only i feel bad it is so short why? Please if you make the remake of this version with same leads i will watch again so so so good series , both first and second season both are good i wanted more scenes but unfortunately it ended within a day i watched 2nd time this series so awesome feeling always brings out a positive feeling about the one you wait...please make more series together all the best to the crew members and cute zhi suWas this review helpful to you?

The second season of We Best Love cemented the fact that this series deserves far more recognition and attention than it does now. It's on a whole level of its own in terms of acting, directing and script writing. Fighting Mr. 2nd just blew me away the moment I started watching it, from the obviously talented cast; especially YU (who is a newcomer and this is his first ever acting role), who just radiates and shines in his role as Shu Yi. Sam Lin who plays Shi De also stuns and amazes audiences with his vulnerability especially in the second ep of this season. Both YU and Sam are formidable actors with incredible talent, and I would even dare say their skill shown in season two deserves all the awards (international recognition even). You grow with the main couple, you see their faults and you love their honesty - ultimately you will fall in love with their love for each other. It's rare to find such a gem in the BL world, where you just immerse yourself fully into the romance, not thinking about the gender but completely enthralled by the passion. I liked it even more than the 1rst one (if that is even possible)
I cannot stressed more that this story is like no other story on a BL drama. You just have your heart pending on a thread the entire time, in a good and bad way, cause you know and feel what they are feeling throughout the whole series. It was extremely emotional for me, because their emotions were so raw and pure, and I get invested emotionally when watching a drama.I have to mention that Pei shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan story broke me, it was so sad and hopeful at the same time... love does not have to perfect to be amazing and powerful. The little details... Oof! LOVED LOVED LOVED! You will not regret watching this BL drama, not for a second. Just GO! WATCH IT! LOL

Wish it was longer
Review is for the Special Edition. The way I feel about this one is similar to how I felt about the first one — everything about the leads is great (the chemistry, the tension, the banter) except for how much time we actually got to spend with them. I'm glad the misunderstanding wasn't dragged out, but it also made it feel like drama for the sake of drama between the two seasons. I also thought the side characters' story was decent, but once again, there were so few episodes that I would've preferred getting more of the main leads instead.Ultimately, I still think I prefer season 1 over 2 for its innocence the campus setting, but this is still a satisfying ending to the story, and the OST is beautiful.

Important plot point omitted
The story was good. The acting was mediocre, although leaning to a finer level. Certain scenes could use some background music, although in season 1 it is true that a particular moment had its highlight with a song. Anyway, I am just a little disappointed with how they dealt with the cause of their fallout. In season 1, they teased the second season with the misunderstanding in Shou Yi's pov, and yet in season 2, they do not even clarify or give more detail about what really happened in Shi De's pov because he does not remember. As a vital part of the plot, there could have been more elements added to it to avoid plot holes.Was this review helpful to you?

Finally, the 2nd installment of We best love. A series that I had high expectations because of its cliffhanger from its 1st season.The series starts off five years later after the 1st installment. We get to see the characters that are now working. The first episode right at the bat was intense and dramatic. Kudos to the actors for portraying the expressions of their characters well.
Apart from the good production and OST used in the series, the pacing of the story is fast paced due to its 30 mins running time per episode. There were a lot of tense moments that will surely grip the audience followed by hot and steamy moments from Gao Shi De and Shu Yi that will also not disappoint.
What really bothered me though was the fact that they didn't insert the most important scene that all of the viewers / audience were waiting - the scene in which Gao Shi De tells Zhou Shu Yi who the blonde was. I actually had an inkling of what was the identity of the blonde character, but seriously though, that was an important scene and I don't really get why they had to delete it. By deleting that important scene, it didn't give justification to the point of the entire series.
Another thing is that, I'd prefer if all of the couples had their own series. In my opinion, i felt that this series had abruptly focused on the 3rd couple in the last episodes (Pei Shou and Yu Zhen Xuan). After the intense previous episodes from Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi in which they fight and make up, the sudden shift of focus to the other side couple was really lacking. I wasn't satisfied with how the relationship of the main couple was handled in the series. The execution was great at the beginning, but it fell midway for me.
In conclusion, this is just my opinion, I actually prefer the first season rather than its sequel. The sequel is good too, but there were some inconsistencies for me. Other than that, I still enjoyed watching this series. It's still a highly recommend watch for me. So yeah... Enjoy watching.. :)

I actually wondering why I felt this way, but the most reasonable answer is I putted an expectation with a huge number of this series. I fell in love with their story in the first place, but somehow I have been thinking that this show could be better than it was.
Or maybe, they just left us many questions to be answered in the next season?

Fucking Shu Yi's dad is worse than Max's in TWM series! I mean this guy wants to be in the running for worst BL father ever and stand next to Kao's gangster father in UWMA. This dad wants to have high motherfucking tea with Zee's dad from Why R You.

Honestly I just LOVE THIS COUPLE. Like ffs despite the ridiculous, overused, misunderstanding plot device they used this season. The skin ship, their chemistry, the dialog! It's so on point.
And ngl I was really into Pei's story this season because in the last one he gives the impression that he's into Gao Shi de but when he starts saying what's really going on, and his relationship with Yu Zhen ffs it got to me! Especially the desperation in poor Yu Zhen when he finds out about Pei's disorder those scenes were super angsty and I loved it.
In fact in general I love the angst in this show.
So why not 10 rating? I feel like the misunderstandings plot device, the arc where the guy disappears for years it just bugs me tbh xD but again that's just personal preference.
But I can't wait for the next season.

We Best Love part 2
Oh my God I don't know how to express myself but this drama is so great so great . season 1 was good but season 2 is gonna be like a blast. Speaking like every part of the plot which they showed and the emotions which are actually happening I can understand it so well...the tension and the chemistry between Yu and Sam is the best..I can't express myself how I am excited about this drama because it's actually is great .

Just perfect!
This sequel was as good as the prequel. Another amazing drama to watch. A great story about misunderstandings and determination. I enjoyed every minute of it.The dynamics and chemistry between these actors is so extremely good, it is a real joy to watch them.
Visuals and music were also very good and all the actors did a great job.
A real must watch! I will definatly watch both seasons agian in the future.

the only needed season 2 I have seen
Loved it. I am going to average it and then see what the overall rating is. The average was 9.083 stars out of 10, so I rounded it down to 9 stars out of 10. The acting in this was just as good as the first one. If not even better. I am going to talk about characters and then look at my episode reviews and write about that, because there's only so much I can actually write and there are word minimums for these reviews. Okay, let's start.Starting off with our baes, Zhou shu yi and gao shi de. So much went down with these two, with their fucking plot twist after plot twist. They pulled through in the end, though. It was a misunderstanding. There was a huge misunderstanding that they never ended up talking out because Shu Yi's dad is a lonely fucking liar who has issues with love. Putting myself in both of their shoes, I would feel betrayed by the other and not know what actually happened. Everyone hated Gao Shi De because of a miscommunication that was never clarified. The baby wasn't his; it was his literal half brother. Ate with that one genius. Gao shi de and Shu yi's dad unintentionally made a villain with the shit that went down. I'm glad they pulled through. Fuck Shu Yi's goofy ass dad.
Then we got my baes, Shi Zhe Yu and Liu Bing Wei. I love them and their shit. Zhe Yu's visuals are crazy; he is so good-looking, and I actually don't know why. It's the way his face sits; it's just so interesting; I love it. They were cute, but also one of the main reasons that Gao Shi De got so much hate from Shu Yi: they were fueling that shit. Oh my god, with their comments and actions, they were making that hate grow bigger and bigger by the day. I'm glad they had their super mega happy ending at the end; I love that for them. Actually, I didn't even know they were together.
Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi Yu Zhen Xuan was my favorite character. (I am going to copy and paste his name because I am going to be saying it a lot.) First, the actor did an amazing job. He displayed the character very well, and I could just feel the emotion through the screen. Yu Zhen Xuan is such a cutie, and I love him. The way he acts and just is is relatable, and I love him. He had a list of mental illnesses, and I want more background on that. Hopefully that special episode will tell me more about it, lol. I will watch that tomorrow because it's late. I love him so much. Pei Shou Yi, the problem cousin who doesn't feel emotions He started feeling them at the end with Yu Zhen Xuan, which is good character development. He was also really relatable for some reason. The way he acted and his demeanor I love these two so much.
Fuck Shu Yi's father; I hate him. There's not a whole lot more to say about him, lol. I just hate him, and he needs to back his lonely ass up.
In the first episode, I found my love for Yu Zhen Xuan, saying, "I don't know the guy's name, but the guy who is a little strange and sits in his chair like he's a child is very cute." So real me 11 hours ago. I was really interested in what was going to happen because of all the plot twists and gray areas. It kept me really hooked, and I loved it.
The second episode had the iconic scene that we have all seen for sure. I actually had no idea it was them until a YouTube short yesterday told me about it. And the whole promise thing got leaked, and I was so confused, and I was already suspecting the dad, which I was right about for once with this show.
Then the third episode I continue to go on about Yu Zhen Xuan, saying, "I love whatever the weird dude is. He is so cute." So true, I said 10 hours ago, I love him too. There were many suggestions back to back, and this show was flipping me right on my head after making me think I was right.
Then, in the next few episodes, they got their shit together, and we got more information on all our characters while still leaving some gray areas. We got a super mega happy ending for Zhe Yu and Bing Wei and sort of everyone else. Good for them. This was good—just as good as season 1, actually. That's my hot take. I would recommend it. I am sleeping now. Okay bye!
