IT'S NOT OVER YET......

The first season surprised me on several levels. It was a drama that had no episodes without importance or dragging. The whole story had good dynamics and followed a well-defined course. I always appreciate dramas that use episodes 15 and 16 to conclude the story. Most dramas use episode 16 for conclusions full of amenities and frivolities. However, FlexXCop used it differently, dosing its story effectively in 16 good episodes. It is a drama that deserves the success it achieved in South Korea and has the energy and potential for its second season, which I believe will only be released in 2026.

I liked the villain built in a complex way and shaped by the ambitions and neuroses of his mother, brought to us by Shi Yang with his character Seung Joo. This drama has a high level of quality and deserves only praise, there is nothing to criticise.

Absolutely Enjoyed this Series

This is absolutley one of the better Kdrama's I have ever watched and simpy the best show of 2024 so far. Periodt! Great cast and characters, good plot and mostly good writing. A few things annoyed me but overall a genuinely good show. I loved the cases they worked on and I loved the teamwork. The balance of comedy and drama was done so well in this series.

Ahn Bo Hyun as Jin Isoo is perfect casting. The character could have been annoying but he was sweet, loveable and so damn likeable. Literally one of my favorite characters ever and his characater growth was phenomenal.

The show was a solid 10 for me but unfortunately the cliche villian trope was just so unnecesary and that's really the biggest negative I have about the series. Most of the writing was good but this and a few other inconsistent, nonsensical things is the reason I took that point away!! I would still rewatch this though and I rarely rewatch any shows.

Not a Batman Spinoff

When I was watching the first few minutes, I thought this was a Batman spinoff and I was ready to drop it but as with other shows, I gave it a chance. Luckily I didn't drop it and it's far from being a Batman spinoff. I am already enjoying it and it's just the second episode. To be honest, I haven't seen much shows from the leads and this was a fresh breather for me to see "new" faces that can act on point. The action is nicely done. The comedy is not forced and not slapstick either. Seeing that there's a romance in the genre makes me wonder how it will pan out.

I am looking forward to watching every episode of this series.

interesting and fun to watch

i loved it. give it a try and find out for yourself. a different plot from the usual ordinary police trying to catch evil cheabols. now we have a cheabol assisting with his weird ways. I loved his relationship with his brother. it was refreshing to see that they did not fight over the company like most other dramas. perfect drama in each way! action, comedy, good plot and great character development.

I did not expect it to be soooo good. Honestly, I was hesitating to start this drama, as I was thinking that it's overrated because of the actor, but I could not be more wrong! I love it. The screenwriting is good, and I was not bored for a single second.

The storyline is great. I love how Jin Su joins the team, and you can see how slowly they become close. Also, his way of solving the cases is funny; using his fame and wealth is awesome. You can see his soft side as well when he is genuinely helping the victims. The screenwriters did a great job with his character development. I like that we have a lot of cases with the main plot slowly uncovered towards the end. The best part is the team dynamic and teasing each other... hilarious!

The production is great, as is the acting.
This drama has everything... action, comedy, interesting plot, mystery.

I cannot wait for season 2.

WOW JUST WOW - BEST KDRAMA OF THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was amazing, Ahn Bo Hyun will never disappoint you. He is my favorite actor and this one was just wow. The plot, acting and everything else was just chef's kiss. I waited for this ever since news that Ahn Bo Hyun was starring in it, was released. No matter how much homework I had due I never missed an episode. This was just so amazing and intriguing. The chemistry between all the actors was so good, no other cast could have done better. I have watched every k-drama that Ahn Bo Hyun had a main role in and his role in all of them were amazing. You can trust that anything he stars in will be good.

MEANT TO BE ICONIC!

the 2024 surprise of the year!
the main theme? i was skeptical... the storyline? sounded cliché... first episode? meh...
i gave it a chance because of the good local viewrship!
i was glad because this is a whole world of a story!

best thing about it?
ITS A STORY THAT DEVELOPS SEAMLESSLY
that's becoming a rare trait in kdramas, unfortunately...
this is a show taken from an original russian tv show that had 5 seasons and movies! they had all the chances on their side to make it a success , and bravo its already renewed!

the Main actors and side characters were all amazingly played! they all had their personality, deph, meat!

the drama had the perfect blend of episode cases and the ML and FL arc stories.

i also loved the jazzy music, the 'personnified' inn soo, his victory/cool sign, his logo, it was all well done to be iconic!

the things i liked less? sometimes reveals were a little overdone... the story can be predictable but its always engaging!

i'll be tuning for s2. i'll try not to watch the original in the meantime haha

The drama offers a lot of cases that the investigation team is called to solve, in their delightfully whimsical way. That way the main plot doesn't get stuffy, and the drama does indeed focus on the police enforcement, and doesn't simply give a few at the start only to excite the audience and then try to keep things interesting with unnecessary melodrama for the second half.

The main mystery case was also interesting and twisty and enhanced the drama of the characters more.

The characters, moreover, where all interesting and had smooth chemistry.

The performances, therefore, were all great and everyone did a great job with their characters.

Cosa può andare storto quando un chaebol illegittimo, viziato e arrogante, viene mandato a fare il detective? E cosa può succedere quando quel libertino senza remore nello spendere il denaro altrui incontra una bella detective dura, intelligente e dal cuore grande? Bhè semplicemente la ricetta perfetta per un drama con i fiocchi!
La storia è semplice, lineare e chiara. Jin I-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) è quello che tutti chiamerebbero uno scansafatiche con più soldi che cervello. Secondogenito di un conglomerato che fattura triliardi, passa le sue giornate a bighellonare e le sue notti a giocare a guardie e ladri in centri commerciali dove distrugge tutto a suon di pallottole a salve, in nome di un divertimento piuttosto opinabile. Durante una delle feste post gioco, un suo amico viene ferito da un malvivente che scappa a gambe levate. I-soo, ancora vestito da poliziotto, lo insegue e lo pesta pesantemente, finché almeno non arriva la detective Lee Gang-hyeon (Park Ji-hyun), la quale lo arresta e lo porta in centrale. Lei lo vuole incriminare, ignorando le rimostranze dei suoi superiori che vorrebbero il ricco ragazzo in libertà, ma viene fuori che l’uomo pestato da I-soo non è altro che un criminale ricercato dalla stessa Gang-hyeon. Per salvare la faccia sia delle forze armate, sia del padre di I-soo, candidato alle elezioni a sindaco di Seoul, il fratello maggiore di lui e la polizia si mettono d’accordo per fingere che il ragazzo stia collaborando con loro. Immaginate la gioia della detective Lee che si trova un chaebol viziato da dover gestire! Lei e la sua squadra già sono odiati da tutti, con lui al seguito diventano lo zimbello della centrale, senza contare che tra di loro non scorre propriamente buon sangue. I-soo se ne frega delle regole, pensa che con i soldi si risolva tutto, è spericolato e irrispettoso, perciò i suoi colleghi faticano a sopportarlo. Il fatto poi che abbia un sesto senso incredibile e che le sue intuizioni si rivelino quasi sempre giuste, non aiuta affatto il clima. Caso dopo caso, lo vediamo affrontare cattivi di tutti i generi, aiutando i suoi colleghi in tutti i modi possibili, persino tirando fuori grosse quantità di denaro di tasca propria. Si caccia sempre nei guai, ma ha anche un cuore grande, uno spirito di osservazione unico e il suo umorismo strappa risate a più non posso. La prima parte della storia è principalmente incentrata su loro che vanno in giro a caccia di birbaccioni della peggior specie, ma il plot twist era ovviamente dietro l’angolo. Durante le puntate infatti veniamo informati che la detective Lee ha un padre che ama tantissimo, ex impiegato della stessa stazione di Gangha, radiato in seguito a una tangente che sembrerebbe avesse intascato da parte di un’associazione tutt’altro che pulita. La figlia non ha mai creduto alle accuse e negli anni ha sempre cercato di ripulire il suo nome, per riportare il padre al posto che gli appartiene. Oltre a questo anche I-soo sembra avere degli scheletri nell’armadio tutt’altro che tranquilli e simpatici. La morte di sua madre è un mistero tutt’ora da risolvere e il ragazzo soffre di incubi e buchi di memoria su quel giorno fatidico. I due, insieme spalla a spalla, si districano dunque tra i fantasmi del loro passato e gli omicidi del presente. Ammetto che non avevo grandi aspettative, ma Ahn Bo-hyun mi ha piacevolmente colpita, andando oltre ogni aspettativa con la sua recitazione. Riesce perfettamente a incarnare il ragazzo spensierato con troppi soldi, per poi crescere, diventare un uomo responsabile e affidabile, un compagno di squadra di valore a cui i suoi compagni possono affidare la vita, per poi approdare a una parte più introspettiva e dolorosa, quando deve affrontare i suoi demoni e il suo passato. Davvero bravo, espressivo, divertente e commovente. Con lui un plauso anche alla sua collega, che viene un po’ messa in ombra dalla sua carismatica presenza di scena (soprattutto quando è nudo), ma cerca comunque di tenergli testa, ingaggiando con lui un vero e proprio braccio di ferro. Hanno una grande intesa e mi è sinceramente dispiaciuto non vedere uno sviluppo sentimentale tra i due, che avrebbe potuto dare al drama quel punto in più che invece gli è mancato. Nel complesso però vi consiglio vivamente di vederlo (se la violenza non vi infastidisce), perché è un concentrato di risate, lacrime ed emozioni davvero ben fatto. La lunghezza di sedici episodi da un’ora non appesantisce affatto, volando via senza quasi che uno se ne accorga.
