This drama has a good storyline but the execution was poorly done and it became increasingly boring. The female lead was a breath of fresh air but even her cuteness was not enough to develop a good romantic chemistry between her and the leading male whose facial expressions did not convey love and tenderness. Even if the drama has a limited timeframe, the acting could have been better. The actress that portrayed the Empress did a decent job bringing her character to life. Overall, this is a one-time watch while waiting for a great one to come. Was this review helpful to you?
Short, funny and sweet romantic costume drama
This is a funny and sweet romantic costume drama. The storyline is interesting and even a bit exciting. I loved ML’s brother’s character and the strong FL that never wavered.Character wise:
FL is a sweet and strong woman who is an assassin. She snatches a mission from a colleague but accidentally loses part of it so she misunderstands it as a kill-mission and not a protection-mission as it was meant to be.
ML is the clever and cunning future Lord of the City who has been forced to wear a mask and pretend to be weak since his father’s death. He is also “the mission”.
Acting wise this is good and everybody does a good job within the limited timeframe.
So, if you love a short romantic comedy - with a bit of drama - this is definitely well worth watching.

Strong Performances and Revenge Twists, but Mixed Romantic Flow
This wasn't too much of a win for me. While the storyline is clever and avoids using misunderstandings to drive conflict—a detail I appreciated—the romantic elements were delivered in a style that didn’t resonate with me. For every great sequence, there were stretches of romance that felt slow or overindulgent. The twists were surprising and the overall narrative was engaging, but I found myself watching in bursts: getting pulled in, only for the moment to then stall as the leads lingered too long in their relationship. The performances were strong, and the actors fully embodied their roles, but ultimately, this just wasn’t the drama for me.Was this review helpful to you?
