that ending was funny af i think their relationship is about to get actually enjoyable. good riddance to zhang jinran he was getting insufferable. i know why he can’t but that’s why it’s so frustrating because he can’t empathize with duanwu. duanwu also chooses to be secretive to him but he’s big enough to use context. yan zijing still hasn’t made much impact ，like the reveal that assistant wei was a double+agent was cool but he does take a back+seat for a really slow guangzhou arc. the most intriguing thing about his character is his sick★ness. i hated cui shi jiu’s writing so far but she might be in a similar boat with yan zijing where i need to let them rock. i think she has a lot potential & these recent episodes were her budding.

Lady Shijiu portrayed her vulnerability so well. Thoughtful and deep meaning dialogue " Many people in this world are stuck in misery, yet they don't lift a finger" . Isn't it true for many people. Bravo screen writers ..bravo

In different circumstances I feel like Shijiu and Duanwu could br a very close friends. Like they both have that grit and brave. Both isnt totally free if what they aspire to be. I hope this drama and story will give them both happiness they deserved even tho Shijiu character in the past is so hateful. And I absolutely hate ZHENG family!!! I crave for more Duanwu and Yan's momments please

Duanwu proud to be promoted for doing a good job in her dealings with the merchant despite she's being used as a pawned, but she's dealing with the risk in a smart way. The main leads are getting closer to have feelings for each other.
