emotional rollercoaster
firstly, I rlly liked how they capture the moment very well. I could experience how the characters felt, in certain heartfelt moments. this drama felt like I could just turn off my brain and just absorb all the emotions. there were a few loopholes, but I don't rlly care too much about them as it is to be expected. their explanation on the concept about time travel felt a little ambiguous, I think they purposely did so , so that they would be able to make certain scenes happen. the story felt long winded and sometimes predictable. I hated how at the end of like ep 3 ( I can't remember whether is it 2 3 or 4) they used time travel as the excused to Im sol not hearing seon jae's confession on the recording. couldn't u at least make up a better excuse? it was quite frustrating. the chemistry between the leads... um I am a sucker for romance so my opinion is very biased. the acting to the create the different characters was done well. what do y'all think?Was this review helpful to you?
Lovely Runner Review - ZyKuu
"A relationship that defies time" - Masterpiece. Story is excellent and there is a unique display in regards to the concept of time travelling. Whether it was a heartwarming or saddening moment, I shed a couple tears as this series drew out a variety of emotions from within. Im Sol and Sun-jae perfectly played their roles, I loved the relationship and chemistry both leads had. The supporting cast was phenomenal especially Tae-sung and In-hyuk. The soundtrack is incredible. The romance and comedy in this series was nothing short of perfection. Not only did this work of art entertain me, but it gave me hope, and I am genuinely sad that it is over :(Was this review helpful to you?

I WANTED TO PUNCH HER SOOO BAD....
It's just me that I found the FL annoying, unbearable, and extremely hard to watch?She is sooooooooooooooo annoying that it almost ruined the whole show for me.
It has good aspects and bad as well but because of her, I wanted to punch her every episode. The lying and the stupid actions made me soooooo angry... right right I get it, she did that to protect him, but even when it wasn't needed anymore, she still tried to act as a stupid and ridiculous little girl...
Anyways, he's perfect! That alone its enough to watch the show hahaha.

Overly dramatic acting, this series is definitely for teenagers
Honestly the male lead has carried the show, because the female lead’s acting is too overly dramatic and it made me cringe. It’s definitely one that makes a teenager’s heart flutter and I can totally understand that but realistically speaking, a lot of the story seems to be really forced, especially the way they find their way back together.Was this review helpful to you?

Finished Lovely Runner yesterday. Good enough as a rom-com. The love chemistry between the hero and heroine was very strong and the romance was there. I mean, it has all the sweet romance a viewer wants. In short, it lives up to the name "Lovely".Now let's talk about the main plot. I am a fan of dramas such as personal time travel, body switch (Hollywood, Bollywood, Anime, K drama all). Looking at the depth of the story, it seems a little weak. Like other dramas, it could not hold intense, suspense. 4 - What I was predicting in episode 5 happened in the drama plot twist.
Kim Hye-yoon is only 27 years old. The school dress looks older for some unknown reason. It doesn't suit her very well.Her acting is so poor and over acted in every scenes.
Overall it was an enjoyable drama.

Good, humourous drama, full of ups and downs.
From start to finish, you'll feel invested in the characters story and want to see it come to an end. I appreciate that the male lead is actually the one who likes her first even though she's the one who's his fan in the future. Often with these stories the female fan is in love and absolutely idolises and worships the male idol (similar to female fans in real life), but I liked that they didn't go down that path and instead she was grateful to him for bringing her into the light and seeing that life is still worth living.Was this review helpful to you?
Started off well , ended up a cliched mess
I guess i am also one of the very few who cannot rave about this show and this review will not be liked by most of the current (young) audiences but well since i watched i will provide my thoughtsI was attracted by clips of first few episodes and story line thinking it will be "we. will cross all hurdles including time and space" type of love story which i am up for watching anytime but i was disappointed big time.
First two episodes was gripping. First wave of disappointment came in when there was fire in Im Sol's house . What was it ! why that sequence which did not make sense and its utterly annoying to see such stupidity. Its not comedy if it does not fit into the flow of the sequence. Randomly these sequences are integrated. There are some comic scenes which is really good but most just falls flat and importantly it does not contribute to the story in any way.
But what really doused my interest is ML already liking her and with just one look and no interaction in original timeline .Liking her to the point where he cares nothing but her. That just destroyed the premise for me .
ML cares about swimming for first few episodes then he doesnt give a damn. After that its like a list of cute scenes or crying scenes but really what is their relationship if we dont see them sit and talk and discuss other than saying they are happy !. He was a student who worked hard for it and now he is just a romantic goof .
If only their relationship was built with more substance where she comes back to save him , bcs she saw him as a person who gave back her spirit of life but then slowly turns into something more and the same with him but no.. it all stays in a very superficial level.
Even FL does not show any maturity when she is supposed to be 34 year old in the body of 20 year old and that too for a person who has gone through so much and when she remembers all of that! Being full of life is not same as acting all teenage like!
Psycho story line is a mess as well. A criminal attacked police officers and how come he is still roaming around and police officers are listening to a teenage girl what to do!! No wonder they could not keep a criminal in hand cuffs in place lol.
And then later he also manages to come to a 5 star hotel to attack the ML. wow! thats hell of a security and policy system this world has!
Same with SML and ML's friend . ML did not even know where his friend lived. And SML one day became buddies with them and enjoying in the beach ( another beach scene cliche thats a must i suppose) when he had his own gang which disappeared ?
Point is none of this characters or the relationship is built up on a solid base that you care about them (Cant help but think of SOOD here)
Only good thing is the leads and the actors who do have a good comic timing ( but sadly all are over the top or out of place)
This plot had the potential to be as good as Someday or one day. Sigh ..
PS : i am still giving ratings more than what i think it deserves

i love taesang, At first I was confused by the storyline. but it turned out very good. Starting from the cast, to the acting, it is extraordinary. I really like Song Geon Hee in that drama. I really love him hahahahha. I really like the way Sun Jae looks at Sol, I get drunk with his gaze. with the song, oh my god what a good song Sunjae sings. and I really hate the evil character there, the taxi driver. but beyond all that, everything is very interesting and very good to watch with friends, lovers or family.Was this review helpful to you?
my favourite kdrama!
I have a few favourite K drama.. K2, Healer, Something in the rain, Hwarang… but but but Lovely Runner hit the top for me. Byeon Woo Seok, Ji Chang Wook & Yoo yeom seok is my favourite 3 actors.. (han suk kyu & choi won young are in my deep heart beside above 3 actors)Lovely Runner story may sound same time traveling story but what it makes so successfull is the actors chemistry and the way that story portrayed.. every minute of the drama, I enjoyed. I will re-watch it soon. and looking for Byeon Woo Seok new drama 😍😍

Superb
Love love love the storyline, its not the typical timeslip drama. It makes you think and i rewatch 7x (and counting) to connect the dots of the happenings and each episodes are still so enjoyable.Casting is perfect. Especially the Kim Hye Yoon. I got glued on epi 1 because of her outstanding performance. ( Watched Skycastle, Extraordinary You, Secret inspector and Joy, Ditto, Midnight, Girl with the Bulldozer and i am extremely impressed with this young actress).

Lovely Runner Aka The Loveliest Drama
This drama is honestly so good. I was there since day 1, when tvn posted their first promotion on their instagram page. I was really conflicted into watching it because byeon wooseok was there as the maincast and he always dies (back in 2022 i saw a youtube short where he said that he likes taking roles where he dies because its realistic or smth and i was not into kdrama durng that time but i was sure if i ever were to get hooked into the kdrama world i would skip his series purely to save my heart from crying) fast forward to 2024 where i finally started watching kdramas, i could not hold myself to wait for this series to end and then binge watch ( i watched ep 1 the day after it got premiered :'D). I would eagerly wait for mondays and tuesdays. and no amount of words can express how thrilled i was to watch this series. This plot is too intense tho, like at end of each ep something bad has to happen which can bring a lot of frustration. This series is something that you would enjoy waiting every week for the eps to upload but definitely not binge watch worthy. Thankfully i did not binge watch as i initially planned of otherwise i would've gone insane. Regardless of the complex plot, i still love this show with my whole heart. The ost and the acting was soo goood. Hye yoon potrayed imsol's character so well like she's soo adorbb. Sun jay being the biggest loser was such a nice highlight. Taesung being the best 2nd lead of kdrama history was an absolute refreshing take. Every week i would laugh and cry for this drama.
