Glamorously tragic end
ML adoptive family is killed and he is up for anything to get his revenge .. he has created this entire shadow sect in disguise of a beauty/makeover pavillion to increase build his power and strengthen his finances for the endgame battle ... Now all he need is a girl who looks like his adoptive sister to lure out the enemy . GUESS WHAT HE MEETS ONE ( that too in the same town) .. Zhao Zhao the FL who looks exactly like his adoptive sister not knowing of his plans joins him to run the beauty pavillion... Soon story unfolds and FL came to know she is just a bait for him. But too late she is already in love. Anyways struggle begins and after repeated victory/defeat ML gets his revenge but on what expense ... ( I am not going to give a spoiler) ... ~ All I can say he loses absolutely everything.Plot was good and moderate paced the only thing I felt boring was making the enemy so damn invisible ..I mean even the emperor of the state is pissed with him yet defeating him took so long ...
Gyan yue was like a moon (as his name means) dashing and flawlessly talented though his character was little flat .. FL is cute .. her character is cheerful .. talkative and smart .. and she played it good (despite a little over acting )
Ost background music were fine ..nothing bizzare to comment on
ONE ENDING but hinted tragic**
Overall good for a time pass ..
Do I strongly (with all my heart) suggest watching it ..NO

A Miss for Me, Despite Loving Guan Yue
For those who don’t know me here, I absolutely love Guan Yue. It started with The Reincarnated Lovers and was cemented with Devil Falls in Love with Fairy. Ever since then, I’ve made it a point to watch his costume dramas. That said, I didn’t really connect with this drama. Through no fault of the performers, the storyline just didn’t draw me in, and I found it hard to stay engaged. And it was a struggle to finish. Usually, even if I’m not a fan of the overall production, I can at least appreciate the storyline — but in this case, the arcs just didn’t resonate with me. It wasn’t quite my cup of tea.Was this review helpful to you?
