Hard to Find, Hard to Let Go
This made me cry.Episodes might seems slow, but the story was worth it.
SPOILER ALERT tho, the ending is really heartbreaking. I get it, but it still is very heavy and sad :(
ZYQ and SYJ were so good (I love them both and the chemistry was great. But part of it was because I'm biased towards ZYQ, lol), and kudos to the casting director, as well as the whole prod.
I hope it did not have the ending it did, but that's what made it more poignant and meaningful.

A quietly devastating love story I’ll never forget
I keep rewatching this drama over and over again because it stays with me in a way I can’t explain. From the very beginning, the way Feng Yuan and Helian Xi met wasn’t romantic or dramatic, but it felt destined. Their marriage was political and cold at first, but their love grew slowly and quietly over time. There were no big confessions or dramatic scenes. It was all shown through small moments of protection, sacrifice, and unspoken care. What I loved the most about their relationship was how much they were willing to give up for each other without asking for anything in return. They both carried heavy burdens. Feng Yuan stayed strong and graceful even when the world turned against her. Helian Xi was emotionally distant, but you could tell he always put her first in his own way. Their love felt real because it was built on pain, choices, and silent devotion.
I completely understand why Helian Xi chose to die with her in the end. He made a promise to take her to see the snow. After she died, that promise became his last reason for living. That final scene, where he lies next to her lifeless body in the snow and holds her hand, was heartbreaking but beautiful. It was the only way they could finally be together without being torn apart by duty or fate.
The part that didn’t sit right with me was the arc with Feng Yuan’s brother. After he got the tree heart, it felt too easy for him to gain power. The cross-dressing scenes felt strange and out of place. What bothered me most was how he caused the destruction of the tree, yet it was Feng Yuan who had to make the ultimate sacrifice to revive it. She gave everything, while he faced very little struggle or consequence. It felt unfair considering how much pain she and Helian Xi went through to get the second tree heart.
One of my favorite moments was the peaceful scene where Feng Yuan, Helian Xi, and their daughter were sitting together on the divine tree. It was short but touching. It showed what could’ve been if their world wasn’t so cruel. I really wish we had more of those moments.
This drama reminds me a lot of Goodbye My Princess and The Wolf. Just like those stories, the happy days are short, but they leave a lasting impression. It is not a happy ending, but it’s a complete one. The cinematography, especially during the rainy and snowy scenes, is stunning. The music is perfect in every scene and makes the emotional moments hit even harder.
Hard to Find is one of those dramas that quietly breaks your heart. It’s slow, painful, and unforgettable. Even if it hurts, I know I’ll keep coming back to it.

The delusion that it would last forever...
I've just finished this drama and my eyes are still wet from crying... Lastly I had some drama burnout and couldn't find any drama to keep me invested and then I found this... I don't know what I expected but I defo wasn't ready for this. It's really beautiful drama, tragic but indeed beautiful. I liked kind of enemy to lovers trope and chemistry between leads was really on point with rollercoaster of emotions. Story had some minor issues but overall it was good. I'm really glad that it didn't have any overdragged plots and it was rather fast-paced. I like how this love triangle was resolved and how supportive second leads were. I hoped to the last moment that it would end differently but yeah... I was delusional. OST is really beautiful and touching, it suits story so well. Rewatch value is like zero for me cause damn, I don't want to cry again. To summarize, if you are looking for beautiful, touching historical/fantasy drama with tragic ending - you MUST watch it.
But if you are looking for some lighthearted drama to cheer you up - DON'T, just keep scrolling, and don't jump into this sorrow pit.

The drama is very sad
The drama is very sad to a point that even have a sad ending but at least it's true to what it suppose to happen and is not crap with a sad ending where you face death a d cry on it because it resonates with your heart and than on the very end they end up making that ML and FL both are again alive...in Hard To Find the ending is actually that FL kill herself to give ML a branch abd he revive the divine tree abd FL don't revive but already ML accompany her in death and I love the ending actually because it's true to itself abd more satisfyingWas this review helpful to you?

Wonderful Cast and an Engaging, Original Story
I've watched so many dramas that what I appreciate most now is originality. That and good acting, of course. This drama has both of those. It doesn't leave you wondering if you've already seen it before. The cast is wonderful. It's been a long time since I could say that I loved both of the lead actors and I'm delighted to be able to do so now. I've never seen them before but I'll make it a point to watch their other dramas. The supporting cast was very good as well.I loved the action scenes. They weren't the over the top flying scenes that I hate. They were well done and fun to watch. The costumes and most of the hair were beautiful. The only things that really detracted from the series appearance wise were the excessively long fingernails they gave the female lead character and the heavy make up on the male lead. There were a few of the obligatory slow motion fall and catch scenes that were regrettable but not very many.
The OST was very pretty and I found myself replaying quite a few scenes just so that I could catch the lyrics. If I could change anything, it would just be to not have them playing over the characters' lines or have the volume quite so loud when they did.
I would have preferred a different ending but I respect that they didn't give us what they no doubt knew we wanted. It suited the characters and the story.
Overall, I would highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.

Hard to find indeed
Well, when I ran into an MV of this on YouTube I wasn't expecting to get sucked into watching this, and I really wasn't expecting this to be as good as the MV lead us on to believe it was (cause often that's not the case).I loved this! It made me smile, it also made me cry my eyes out. I think it's such a lovely little drama.
The actors did such a good job, especially since they're such new actors and actresses. And the FL is so pretty. The visuals are stunning so kudos to the producer and director and whoever else is in charge of Making this so beautiful.
I really love how well they portrayed the emotions in this. They did so well. I cried with them and I smiled with them. This is such a beautiful love story too. It's so sweet and sad. I think bittersweet is the right word to describe it.
I'm still figuring out how to enterprate the title. Hard To Find. Hard to find happiness? Hard of find a solution to all their problems? Hard to find a good ending?
All in all, I definitely really do recommend this.

Tragically Beautiful
The cinematography, story, and music were amazing! However, if the leads, Zhao Yi Qin as Helian Xi and Shen Yu Jie as Feng Yuan, did not have THIS MUCH CHEMISTRY, nothing would have worked. It's because of them two together as fuqi that this drama became an unforgettable masterpiece. Sometimes, it's the characters that make the actors look good, but in this case, it's the actors that owned the production. I truly hope to see them lead another drama again but please, a happy ending next time. They were soooo good, I forgot that I was watching actors act in a love story. Helian Xi is one of the purest souls out there. The way he loved, respected, and cared for Feng Yuan was the sweetest sugar in the world. And Feng Yuan, the revelation was extremely well written and executed. They LOVE each other so much and had to endure so much pain to be together but in another place that they will no longer depart from one another ever again. Despite the controversial ending, I can't get over this short drama. Their tragic love story still lingers in my mind from time to time. A MUST WATCH!!!Was this review helpful to you?

I wanted to share my thoughts on the drama Hard to Find. Overall, I found it very enjoyable. The female lead's (FL) character is quite reasonable and refreshing, unlike the typical Chinese/Korean FL characters that are often portrayed as childish, annoyed, and somewhat silly. Her portrayal with mature and kind traits was a pleasant surprise.
The storyline makes sense for the most part, except for a few parts like how the male lead (ML) knows the baby is his. I appreciate that the story focuses on the lives of the main characters (FL and ML), ensuring that no part felt unnecessary.
I also liked the second characters, Xiu Jiu and Shi Ying. They are not only good-looking but also well-developed.
However, I was disappointed with the ending. It was sad, and I felt that the ML's decision to kill himself was unnecessary and didn't make sense given his actions were acceptable.
I would recommend watching it.

Good
Good Mini drama, would have given more ratings but there were some unnecessary plots/things in the drama -like the ancient tree & its rules/myths/ beliefs were over the top, exaggerated until the very end & that took away the interest in the later half; the FL's acting also was little irritating as she always said she the one to blame for ML's clan's disappearance etc, etc most of the time.
The actor who played Feng yin (wang ze xuan) was awesome, he played his character superbly, specially towards the end of the drama, applause for his acting skills.

Sad but still great!
I should say that I don't normally watch sad ending dramas as I don't like being sad after watching all that time but I think this time it was more realistic that it was a sad ending. I would definitely be happier and liked it more if we get a miraculous happy ending even if it isn't realistic but because the acting was good and they made me believe they can't live without eachother I can accept this ending. (still sad though) I could understand both leads and why they make those choices. After a long time of not deep thinking, whiny female leads (for chinese dramas) finally a nice female lead. Both of the lead's acting was great. Overall very quality production. My only problem was them never telling the child who was her mother/father was. Even way before deciding killing themselves. Made me feel like they just put the child there to add extra drama and left it without knowing what to do. I think it has rewatch value but I probably won't to protect myself from the pain again. Was this review helpful to you?

Short-form Series worth watching
The series is divided into 3 parts, the first part depicts a man so vengeful with a woman, after some time they meet and when they meet, the woman has lost her memory, the second chapter tells the flashback of the relationship of the man and the woman, the third chapter is how the man and the woman solve all the things that happened in the first chapter, I really liked the first chapter, the acting, the storyline looks beautiful to watch, but unfortunately in the third chapter, everything looks clichéd story, I should give a score of 9/10 but I give a score of 8/10.Was this review helpful to you?
