I don't know why people are commenting so bad under comments section. As a kdrama fan, I literally obsessed with this drama bcz episode 2 is the reason. You should watch before judging this by people's comments. I can see they're trying to destroy Jisoo image. Please you guys enjoy her actress era. She is good. She can act . I'm a kdrama fan not a K-pop fan. I know Jisoo from snowdrop, I can see she improved.. her screaming scenes is the Proof. Even you guys started hating her only 2 episodes aired. Newtopia everybody should watch

Worth to watch
Episode 2, I'm in love with you. Rewatching it. Obsessed already. Jisoo and jeongmin chemistry will be gorgeous. They're so funny, specifically the jisoo scene. How she screaming it's so real. Jisoo the actress you're. You're going to be the top actress I can see this. About haters, I don't know are they blind? They can't see the improvement of jisoo acting. What they want actually. As a Kdrama fan, I'll say just wait for the plot bcz we only see two episodes of this drama. Second episode made me obsessed. Bcz it's so hilarious 😂. Every scene of jisoo is funny. A very great comedy and thrilling zombie drama
I am so excited for the upcoming episodes of Newtopia. I was enjoying it to the fullest and the comic elements makes it more better. The gory scenes were so real and made me uncomfortable sometimes but it was meant to be like that. The actors are pretty amazing and I really loved the chief arron park lol, he is so funny. As for Park Jeong Min, I love seeing him doing comedy, the first dream scene of him is hilarious. Meanwhile Jisoo, ummmm, like she is an idol so her idol image comes to my mind whenever I see her but this time? Nope!!! She was living the character, she feels like Young Joo instead of Kim Jisoo the idol. I am seated for her acting and also AMORTAGE 😉Was this review helpful to you?
It's really a must watch Series
This series is really unique compared with my past drama list. Newtopia is comedy romance thriller in one series. Two main lead Jaeyoon and yeongjoo chemistry is also amazing even though they didn't met in person they are keeping talking on their phones. It's really sad and lovely feel the pain of Long distance relationship. Jaeyoon and his fellow soldier duo make me crazy. They are so unserious and chaotic their chemistry is another level. Yeongjoo senior jeongwoo is really annoying and he pmo. Alex and yeongjoo chemistry is so cute. Is she fangirling. Can't wait for upcoming episodes. Strong female lead, humorous yet smart male lead
Coupangplay marketed it as "Jisoo becomes a warrior and rescues her boyfriend". Also advertised as zombie romcom, obviously it won't be fully gore and melodramatic like Train to Busan. Jungmin said it's a fairytale disguised as zombie series, he mentioned Warm Bodies,and not a typical zombie thriller.*This is not like Happiness, the zombies are already around them. Jaeyoon is stucked without phone and unable to move anywhere else.
Both characters will grow with each scenes, not just for their survival, they wanted to make sure the other one survives too, that's the romance part; Youngjoo is not dumb to go to him as his place is the safest one in Gangnam and their connection is strong due to the years spent together.
If you're looking for a twist in genres then give this a watch, perhaps wait for the whole thing to drop but you'll miss the discussion and thrill of waiting game.
**please stop hating on people's hardwork, if you don't like it go watch other shows. It's not only the actors project but it's also the crews. Let the drama fully air first.

Excellent
These first 2 episodes are very enjoyable to watch, as it deviates from the typical zombie series using absurd humor, well used without reaching the bizarre, it has a great visual production as an excellent construction of zombies as expected from a Korean series, if you have not seen it give the opportunity to see NEWTOPIA a series with zombies with the use of another type of resources, until now excellent 👌Was this review helpful to you?

A Promising Start!
What a start.First, if you're anything like myself and a fan of this genre as a whole- its for you. Gory fun, poking fun at its own genre the way the 'Zombieland' movies have all those years ago..we finally get our wish; more korean zombies content!
Setting this to take place in the heart of a large city makes sense, with our FML currently exploring this idea; scavenging for gear, weapons is always a fun aspect in these series & yes I can not wait for her to get her hands on that chainsaw
A hotel with floors above & below already overrun is also a fun setting; hotel or stairs? Stay confined or risk going out? Well, those fuel tanks aren't gonna fill themselves..
Cast. Its my first time seeing most of the cast, but I'm enjoying most of the characters so far. Jisoo is the heart of the show right now, a mix of being an overly polite shy natured girl, while also yelling at a crowd of people to help her pull a corpse stuck on her cars glass windshield. Its strange because I always prefer my FML to be more on the competent side for these shows(think the happiness spec ops woman) but she has been a joy so far & my favorite POV! Alex(smug CEO)casually going on his solo quest to probably saving us in the very end is also one to watch for.
Highlights:
- Setting(s) are fantastic
- Gory Fun, depsite the zombies being unserious there is a real sense of danger in these encounters
- Most characters, including side characters, are a joy(so far)
- Scavenging, a theme many of us enjoy in this genre is already being explored
Criticism:
- ML is the weak part of the early story. Coming off as an overly controlling boyfriend & not giving the audience a reason to care for him, its a shame because the script isn't utilizing a great actor
- Momentum is not on its side. We understand why they would release this weekly, but it will face tough competition in the coming weeks

The story is fun
Loving the drama and all the cast! Cant wait for another 6 eps. I dont know Park Jeong Min before, but now i can say that he’s one of gem in Korean industry. It’s so funny even in the first episode, i cant help my self but laugh! Jisoo is very pretty and i think she improves a lot from the previous drama. Don't judge a book by it's cover
This drama's first episode was just an introduction, I can see so many people saying it's boaring. If you see the 2nd episode you'll understand this series is worth to watch. This series just aired 2 episodes and people are judging it so quickly. Those gets 2nd episode, they'll understand how funny this one. I'll say this is a new genre Zom-rom-com. Not like others zombie drama, completely a different genre. If you're a hater of Jisoo then please ignore this drama. If you still want to see then please try to see Jisoo as an actress Jisoo . I can see Jisoo improvement in this drama. She literally trying hard... Her acting isn't jokes at all. I like this series and I can't wait to see next episode ❤️Was this review helpful to you?
