Why do all BL shows use one song on repeat?!

I adore Fort and Peat, and I will forever watch anything they are in. I did like and enjoy aspects of Rak and Mut's relationship; it was flawed, and a little toxic at times, but what relationship isn't?

I know all shows will have secondary couples, but I did not understand why they bothered to try to make Vie and Mook a couple. They didn't have much chemistry; it was portrayed as one-sided to me, and they didn't receive the screen time they would have needed to make me believe in their relationship. Plus, nothing happened. We see one kiss, but the rest of the time is Vie messing with Mook, it was very 'second-grade grade being mean to show you like someone.' Not to mention the show just ignores them at the end, and you have no clue what's happening with them.

Now Meena? She was an absolute delight; I love her and her character. I loved watching Fort and Peat act with a child I hope they can do that more.

The whole storyline with Rak's father and cousin was a bit irritating and repetitive. I didn't understand why his mom was still paying for his dad and his lifestyle when they were no longer together. Are they still together? It wasn't clear on that. Plus, Rak is a rich, successful writer, if he really wanted his dad to stay away from him, his sister, and niece, why not get a restraining order, or, I don't know, involve the police for the child endangerment and abuse? Why pay him money?

Mut getting a tattoo in honor/to remember Rak by is a total simp move and a little weird.

The show does end kind of abruptly. I'm glad we got a special episode that will hopefully clear some stuff up and maybe even expand on the whole Vie/Mook relationship.

Medium

I am not going to write a long text , but this is overall an 3/5 drama. I loved the acting and the couple - BUT there is litterary no story. Nothing is really happening and that is the case throughout the entire series. There are some elements that makes me a little more excited (like the dad issue), but those moments lasts litterary 1-2 episodes. Again, the story regarding the immideate couple and the acting is good, this had a potential to be very good overal. it would have been better to shorten the amount of episodes to remove some of the "deadtime". this would have really helped

The last episode was really good, almost the reason alone I give it above 5

Sidenote: I really liked that they had a girl/girl couple as well.

Watch him ignorant of the story until you enjoy it

Umm I don't know how to judge it after watching it. I feel a bit confused after stopping and going back to watching it again. I feel that the series is missing some things, but I don't know what they are. I am also a fan of Fortbeat. I also love the way they act, but I feel that this series was made just out of emptiness and was not prepared with all the effort. What I mean is that it is not eaten from all parts. There are also shortcomings in it. The story is not bad. A famous novelist does not believe in love and meets someone who makes him believe in love and breaks the strength of the curse he built. Perhaps the story is different from what we are used to, that the heroes know each other or happened to meet each other when they were young. Also, Fortbeat embodies the role with all seriousness. I like how Pitt knows how to make Fort fall in love with him every time because of his sweet actions. Also, Pitt, why does he fit the role well? He is a very skilled actor. As for Fort, I love the aura around him and that he is a gentleman who loves from his heart and pampers his lover.
Also, while watching, I felt like I was watching some of the movements from the series "Love in the Air" with the characters "sky" and "Prapai". It seems that the series influenced Fortbet so much, to the point that some of the actions and movements they used to do in the series before stayed with them and were not requested by the director.

I had high hopes

After the excitement of LITA this overall fell kind of flat. I was super excited to see FortPeat’s chemistry back on screen in another drama so I may have placed the bar too high.

This started off pretty strong and had an interesting storyline. Episode 1 had me super excited caused me to be locked in to every episode weekly, but the show fell off somewhere in the middle which for me made the second half of the show boring and felt like it dragged on unnecessarily. It felt like the script fell flat and the cast didn’t have much to work with towards the end

That dick was not 3,680.80 good

Hey gang and we are done. That was a pretty good show. I am going to rate it and then write my review. Had to change my Grammarly to less formal, lol. And we are back and I now have two reviews to write. I finished this show 4 days ago now. 8.9 out of 10. So 9 out of 10, let's break it down, spoiler style! Also not checking the grammar on this.

Sexy love money: "Haven’t we been here before? I know why y’all here and y’all know why I’m here. Fort and peat bruh. I don’t even know what’s happening, but I’m already obsessed. Okay, so I don't know anyone's name but Peat's character is a writer and a shut-in, which is so real, and Fort's character is some bad boy who is paid to look after him? I guess." Starting off their dynamic, it was pretty weird, but I liked it. It was a master and a servant kind of vibe and not really in a good way. I don't remember anyone's names anymore, lol. Rak and Mut, there we go. Rak was very "emotionally suppressed and reserved, hence why his emotions come out so quickly." Which we ended up seeing until the very end, which was a good consistency. He wasn't sure how love worked or anything past work because of the way he was raised and the way that he thought. I was thirsting over mut: "OOO BABY, I WISH I WAS THE NET MUT WAS HOLDING BECAUSE GOD MOTHER FUCKING DAMN." It was a good start but I was still very confused.

Love is just a figment of your imagination: That was the quote for the rest of the damn series, lol. Also, I finished this in a day, which mentally overloaded me. They have genuinely some of the best tension I have ever seen and we really saw that again for this drama. "I would be writing about what that tongue does in my romance novel if I {were} Rak." Vile ass line by me, dude. Peak the sex scene that " I don't even know how you have sex like that. Like how? You know what? Don't ask questions you don’t want the answers to, lol." Rak gives off a very standoff kind of vibe, and I love main characters like that. "THAT DICK BETTER BE HITTING YOUR FUCKING BRAIN IF YOU ARE GIVING HIM THAT MUCH MONEY." Also have my headline now. Rak's eyes were such a cry for help, dude, and I really wished they delved into the lore behind it more.

The best friend, whose name I can't remember, was such a case of "weaponized fucking incompetence, pretending to not be able to do shit." Also, Rak owns one pair of shorts because why was he wearing those so fucking much? Rak was very insecure and not used to compliments so he would shut Mut down whenever he said something remotely nice, which came to bite them both in the ass at the end. "FORT IS SO FINE AND HE KNOWS IT. Why does Rak have the most seductive pajamas on? I love hickies in dramas; it brings them to life even more. The difference in their outfits is very cute and I love it. They both have Daddy issues. They have sex a lot and that's real. Loud moaner though because I HAVE THE VOLUME ON ONE AND I CAN STILL HERE HIM. More hickies. That is a lot. They have crazy tension." THEY WERE FUCKING EATING UP THESE SEX SCENES; THE ACTING, THE LINES, THE LIGHTNING, THE MAKEUP, THE CONTRAST, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. One thing was that they had only known each other for less than two weeks and were already so enamored with one another.

3,680.80: Rich people scare me. New headline because this one is funnier. " It is kind of hard for someone to uproot their whole life for you." Mut dropping everything for someone he just met was crazy. Me thirsting over fort and peat: "Fort looks so good, I can't. He and this body are making me crazy. PEAT IS SO FINE HOLY FUCK. THESE GLANCES GIRL MUT GET IN LINE DUDE." The difference in their outfits and demeanor is what I live for. "You can't stop me from loving you." Mut. That line was deep as fuck. Parents and family very much affect the way you look at love and we find that out later on Rak's part.

"Trying to blow money on him to make up for the mistreatment because Rak doesn't understand what love is." That is real.

"They match each other's freak, lol. He said say less. I love how these sex scenes feel—very cutesy, very manure." Very meta. I wish we got to see more of Kom and Connor instead of just a one-off thing; I liked their dynamic. "These rich guys are going to the South and buying hot guys. Dude what. Kom was bought too." We meet Meena, who was the random kid in the sign special episode. We meet Rak's creepy ass dad. "Everyone keeps saying Rak is scared of his dad; I need more lore; I have seen some of it but not all of it." And that was all of the lore they showed us. I am kind of disappointed, not going to lie; they could have done so much more with that. Throughout the whole show, they hyped up his dad being this horrible monster and I mean, he was in one flashback. Then other than that, he just was weird. I wish they developed that more so I could get more into it.

Peat is such a good actor, it is insane. "They have a 10-year age gap in this, that is insane. That changes their dynamic a lot actually." There was a lot happening but none of it was writing down worthy.

"The return of the past is telling me that shit is going to come back in full swing very very soon. Not to be that person but his dad is kind of bad. Like the actor. Not to be that person though. I AM SORRY BUT WHOSE DADDY IS THIS BECAUSE GOD MOTHER FUCKING DAMN? I really can't explain it but he is very attractive. Not a single bit of remorse in the dad's voice, he really doesn't care. That is fucked up that his dad is making him choose." The manipulation that the dad was doing to get everyone around Rak away from him was so good, but they didn't use it for anything. I wish they did.

"This man has created generational fucking trama dude, so he was bad. Even if we haven't seen that, the way everyone is around him. Even with Prin, the way she was wary and flinched around him. Generational with the shits. The mood of this changed so gradually that it is almost perfect. Your wife, your two kids, your niece, and your grandchildren—that is fucked up. That is generational dude." They just didn't show us this monster's full form. " Also, I hope they are going to do another series together because they are both really good actors and really good together, so hopefully they do at least one more."

"150k is tapping into his own shit dude. He only gave him 122k that we have seen. There are two sides to this coin and I understand both. Rak doesn't want him to get hurt and he loves him so much that he is invalidating his own feelings and Mut loves him so much, more than money. If push comes to shove, when you love someone, you have to let them go. Rak is suffering so much dude, I wish Mut would just stay put but I understand his feelings one hundred percent. Rak is an alcoholic struggling with an eating disorder and overall he is lonely and doesn't really have many friends. Rak fucked him up so bad holy shit. That garbage truck is a good symbol of their love. "You can't escape them as long as you're still breathing." That is a deep-ass way to look at love, dude. Full circle. From the first, I love you, from the first time meeting to coming to Bangkok, to the bracelet to all of this trama. From the first I love, from the final time meeting to coming to the island, to the bracelet, to getting rid of all this trama. This "daddy" voice would make me cave so fast. A tear just ran down my leg type shit." And that was it.

I mean, it was good. Would I recommend it? Meh, sort of but not really. I liked it for the most part, but some of the plot was kind of blurry and bad. If you want sex with some heavy shit at the end that is not fleshed out then go ham and watch it. Then again I don't care. Stay woke. Okay bye!

*insert face-palming here*

Fort carried the show. It was quite fun to see him as a house husband from his role as playboy-rich kid-CEO in Love in the Air. I was surprised at how good he is at the emotional scenes as well. Big kudos to him.

Peat... well, as a tsundere black cat, he's pretty decent, but for the emotional scenes - Lord Jesus, no. The man cannot act in emotional scenes. Whenever it comes to scenes where he has to panic or worse, cry, everything goes straight to hell. He cannot do it. We saw it in Love in the Air, and it repeats itself here. I'm not one to support typecasting, but he needs to stick to the cold tsundere roles for now and enroll in classes to help with the more emotional scenes.

Side note - I'd like to see Fort in 2 other types of roles - As a mafia daddy (the man is hot when angry), and as the emotional, crybaby, golden retriever top. Not only does he do well in the emotional scenes as mentioned, but his smile is beautiful and would work perfectly in a golden retriever role.

The GL couple was a good addition, but they weren't consistent, especially with Mook. From the get-go, Vie was into her, but Mook wasn't presented as gay in the beginning - just as a bullied, confused, clueless, and overworked assistant. I think if they became an official GL couple, they'd do well with a better storyline. The girl who plays Vie is a good actress - the girl who plays Mook needs a different role for me to judge, but she's really cute. Loved how they dressed her.

Actually, everyone but Peat was dressed/styled really well. Whatever they were trying to do with Peat's styling didn't work, especially the tucked-in look at the beach. No. Just no

This is one of the most interesting bl drama I've ever watched.

It's is quite engaging. Only Peat and Fort could do this so well. Like whenever Peat bites his lips looking at Fort, I almost lose myself. It is cute when 'Rak tries to deny his love 'Mut but we all know that he is sooo in love. And this drama also summoned the whole LITA fandom. the guest roles for Boss and Noeul made me feel like I was in heaven. I look forward to LITA part 2 ors smthng. Ohh, I'm sooo inlove with LITA gang. I really really recommend this for the newbies to bl drama's. And of course LITA. I just finished this. I love it. Sad that the drama has ended. but i hope there's a special episode. I would love one.

THEY GOT US AT FIRST TWO EPISODES ONLY

I am sorry , I have decided to drop this one, only the first 2 episodes were promising, and the next episode were ridiculous, I didn't understood why the leads had sex on first episodes and then on the later episodes , Tongrak seems shy again like nothing happened between them when Mahasamut started flirting with him, Tongrak acted as if Mahasamut has not touched him yet.
The taking Mahasamut to Bangkok was I thought exciting but It was not, its like almost is never enough feeling like I did not know what hindered the momentum, I was irritated with the assistant girl with her worried face and expression, she is pretty but , the way she acted and always washing her face with that expression was so annoying, and she is so annoying over all from the very start and the contract with Mahasamut it was overused ! like have they even thought of a different plot? and it was all over acting , like Tongrak have taken Mahasamut to Bangkok and then suddenly There was a contract ?? Mahasamut is a dumb ,
I cannot go on any longer with this drama , I felt bad I wanted to see more of Fortpeat , maybe I'll check later if they are gonna have a new drama together , I hope for a better story. This is only my opinion pls don't hate me, if the drama doesn't suit on my taste , well maybe suited with others , it's okay , if you think you can waste you time with this, its fine go for it , but me? naaa

Mixed feelings about this BL

I have never seen the two leads before, so I cannot compare it to their previous roles. I dont even know who they are. I saw many reviewers giving a 10 to this series, which I find interestingly funny. What? 10 for a drama which is quite flat, no suspense, no romantic sparks? I find both guys irritating. The synopsis above only mentions the "irritating Southern guy" when in fact the writer is much more irritating to me. I just couldn't stand his spoiled, arrogant city boy attitude, and yet I kept on watching this series. Ha ha.

I'm already watching episode 3 now. Yes, you get a glimpse of the family and past lives of both leads, but it all seems like being 'cut and paste" for the audience to hear. Not sure how they will fit into the story. I also don't get the connection with the side couple, an actress and a secretary, and dont see how their role fits into the story . This is not a BL which makes me anxiously wait for each week. Ther is no excitement. It does not make me feel emotionally involved with the story. But oh well, Im patient enough to see what will eventually happen with the two guys. So maybe I'll just binge-watch it when it comes to the end or near the end.

I may change my mind later, but so far the only things I like are the scenery: the sea and the beach and the two leads' cute faces.

"To your uncle, 8 isn't a number. it's infinity."

I've watched this series every week since the day episode one came out. I originally started it because I enjoyed the actors, but I quickly fell in love with the plot. Throughout the story, you get to see how generational trauma can have a strong hold on people. Even down to the last episode, Tongrak suffered due to his past. I found this feature incredibly realistic. many shows like this show characters "coping" with trauma and getting over it in just a few episodes, and it can often feel like a mockery to real trauma. this story did a wonderful job. 10/10. (8/10 for Tongrak)

A Rather Deep Series

This series is exceptional, surprisingly. I was not expecting it to affect me as deeply as it did, but one had to frankly get through a lot of cacophony to get to the story. But once you did, and evaluated that, it was much deeper than most viewers, I think, realized. It honestly left me emotionally drained. This series, I felt. What brought this series down and unfortunately way down was the awful peripheral (I guess) GL portion. I am not sure the reason to throw that into the mix as it added nothing to the story. If I were doing this story, I would have begun with the last episode as the first and then told the story of how they got there. Only them, with then the essential figures influencing the story. We could undoubtedly have understood what made both ‘tick’. These two are fascinating individuals and I wanted to know who they were. All we saw were glimpses and shadows of who they were. I did not want to find that out only in the end. The two of them fascinated me as a couple.
You can read my full review of this rather well done series (minus the GL portion) at BLBliss.com
