Once again, OffGun has an entirely new dynamic which is different from that in their previous shows, which while expected (because duh, it's OG), is still a beautiful surprise and keeps you thrilled because even as a fan who has watched all of their shows, you don't know what to expect from them! And the story is original so you're going to go in having no idea how it's going to unfold and you won't have to worry about coming across spoilers.The production is beautiful. I'm not normal about the color grading in particular, it's too pretty. The plot turnt out to be more fun than I expected. The humour is just right and I already LOVE the supporting characters as well, especially Baimon and Pun :D Judy is just damn!! Looking forward to see JudyBahmee's (the side CP) chemistry!
Ryan is a very relatable character and I was actually worried for him. But that's okay, he'll be fine :') I want to keep him in my pocket sooooo bad. And I was slightly worried if Jane was going to be mean just for the sake of it but no, he is an actually reasonable guy. His aura>>>>>> Eerytime he appears on screen, I melt alright! Mind you, only the first episode has dropped. I doubt if I'm ready for the rest :0
Overall, as a fan, my heart is very happy. Let me tell you, waiting for one week is pure torture.

Easy to watch series, not only focused on BL
You can laugh, suffer and then laugh again with this series. It was amazing I had a great time watching it, also because the things happening to the interns were relatable.The story wasn't a 10/10 but overall it was entertaining and easy to watch. The cast did a great job portraying the characters and I loved to see how they grew up and got development throughout the episodes.
I know OffGun didn't have the screentime many were expecting, but this series really deserve an opportunity.

I'm not talented.. but I'll try
I may have misjudged this show based on the trailer and the fact that only Off and Gun are listed as the leads, but make no mistake, none of that took away from how much I loved it.I understand this may not be a common sentiment, but I genuinely loved this show. I don't need complex writing that's itching to create conflicts, or a plot that's completely out of the ordinary to enjoy a drama, sometimes I'm happy with a basic story with good emotional depth.
A tight story that's character driven, yes please!
And though I got a little fussy that Off and Gun, despite being billed as the leads, didn't have as much screentime as I expected them to, after a while I didn't think it was a bad thing. Sure, I'm still allowed to be mad that it was marketed one way and we got like a third of what they promised, but the fact that all the other characters got their time to shine is a good thing. I got to understand them better, I felt some of their stories and experiences on a personal level, I witnessed good character growth, not just for the support characters. The fact that Ryan and Jane also had time to grow into themselves, follow their dreams and figure out what they wanted, I think they handled that extremely well.
For what it's worth, even with the limited screentime, the Off Gun chemistry was amazing.
But, despite all my praise, I did find myself dissapointed with some things they did, actually one thing. The Tae - Ba Mhee - Judy love triangle.
*Sigh*
Not all growth is personal or work related, it can be romantic, but did it have to be this way? I don't think so.
All that push and pull, the kiss and the breakup, the tears and the arguments, it wasn't worth the eventual turn this triangle took. This is the one thing that genuinely frustrated me, all I could do was watch and rant.
Most of my review stems from the fact that this was a very personally touching story for me, and though you may not have experienced the same watching it, or though you may not have the same feelings watching it, I can say that this is worth a try.
Sometimes getting invested like I did is nice though, you may discover depths that even the creators didn't think about when making the show, and that's kind of wonderful ♡

THE TRAINEE IS A MUST WATCH
The Trainee Series is the perfect slow burn BL. It is different from other BLs cause it has no physical interaction in first two episodes. I love the way they show that Jane is worried about the interns and he maintains his strictness. Ryan is a huge relatable character. Relatable, comedic, potentially heartwarming
This is such a fun AND funny show! Usually, comedy is such a hit-or-miss but the way the humor is weaved in the narrative is diverse so I feel like atleast a few jokes should land for almost everyone! I have alot of laugh out loud moments, thanks for Gun’s brand of comedy for Ryan’s character. Plus the sound effects are so cleverly used to enhance the funny moments. The characters also feel lively and the setting lends to some really unique and dynamic scenes. Off and Gun are wonderful and I’m really digging their assigned characters here. Won’t say much on the plot as of yet but the character arcs are set in a way that promise some satisfactory growth for the two main leads! Love to see the duality Ryan possesses – so competent at home but still stumbling (but slowly but surely finding his footing) at the internship. Can’t wait to see how their arcs unfold and how their love blossoms! It will particularly interesting to see the uber competent Jane letting down his walls and falling for Ryan but we all know who's developing the crush first, lol. xPWas this review helpful to you?

Queria mais de Jane e Ryan :(
Acho que pela primeira vez eu vou reclamar que o casal principal deveria ter tido mais destaque do que o secundário. Normalmente é o contrário, quando o casal principal domina a história, eu reclamo que são sem graça e que o secundário rouba a cena. Só que dessa vez foi o total oposto. O Jane e o Ryan são fofíssimos, mas o roteiro parece ter feito de tudo pra deixá-los em segundo plano. É um slow burn daqueles que dá vontade de gritar pra eles se resolverem logo. No episódio nove é que eles vão ter o primeiro abraço. Nem foi beijo, foi a porra de um abraço. Esse é o slow burn do slow burn, demora tanto que a gente quase torce pra aparecer um cupido armado com uma marreta.Enquanto isso, o casal Tae e Ba-Mhee ganha mais destaque com toda a sua confusão com a Judy, que acaba até resultando em beijo entre as duas. E aqui entra um ponto interessante: o Tae é interpretado pelo Sea, e todo mundo sabe que o Sea tem shipp fixo com o Jimmy. Só que nessa série ele faz par com uma garota, e claro, é um casal hétero. O curioso (ou irritante) é que a série mostra um beijo entre a Judy e a namorada do Tae, mas o casal em si… nada. Zero. Nem um selinho. E eu não consigo deixar de pensar que isso tem mais a ver com a política de “não vamos deixar o Sea beijar ninguém que não seja o Jimmy” do que com o roteiro em si. E, sinceramente, isso soa como uma grande limitação.
E como eles nunca colocam beijo hétero em BL, o que sobra é um casal hétero sem graça ganhando tempo de tela, enquanto o casal principal, que tem uma química absurda é deixado pra escanteio. Teve até pedido de casamento deles e nosso casal principal só migalhas. E não é que o Tae e a Ba-Mhee sejam ruins, eles são até fofinhos, mas é uma história sem muita graça. Eu até me emocionei com eles em algum momento, mas o que eles mereciam mesmo era um beijo decente e menos tempo de tela.
E aí voltamos ao Jane e Ryan, porque, sério… esses dois só de se olharem já fazem a tela pegar fogo. O Off e o Gun estão incríveis, a química entre eles é praticamente radioativa, e mesmo assim a gente recebe só o farelo das migalhas. A GMMTV tinha a faca e o queijo na mão, mas parece que preferiu deixar o lanche cair no chão.
No fim das contas, é uma comédia romântica leve, divertida e sem muita vergonha alheia, o que já é um milagre. Eu ri, me diverti e achei gostosinha de assistir. Só que, infelizmente, o casal principal que realmente carrega a série ficou relegado a papel secundário. E isso dói, porque dava pra ser incrível. Dava pra ser o tipo de slow burn que recompensa a espera. Mas o que a gente ganhou foi só o slow e nada de burn.

NÃO ACREDITO QUE FIZERAM ISSO!
Apenas gora consegui terminar de assistir.Os queridos, Thanaporn Petcharat e Kirati Khamsat (roteiristas), tinham tudo nas mãos para fazer uma ótima série com a temática de escritório, mas a série deu tanta valorização ao casal secundário que o casal principal meio que ficou como um coadjuvante. Eu gostava muito de Ryan e Jane. A forma como o relacionamento deles se desenvolve é exatamente o que adoro em histórias como esta. Eles são incrivelmente doces e ternos um com o outro. Os momentos entre eles foram minha parte favorita da história.
A trama inteira com Tae e Ba-Mhee / Tae, Ba-Mhee e Judy: isso foi realmente desinteressante para mim e demorou muito tempo de exibição. Realmente parecia mais uma história de casal heterossexual com um casal BL paralelo.E como tudo acabou… como foi o relacionamento deles, a traição, eles voltando a ficar juntos… não dá a mínima. Irritante que eles tenham um final melhor e mais longo. E o que foi aquele salto estúpido no tempo no final, também foram 5 anos… é muito! e eles voltaram a ficar juntos assim como se nada tivesse acontecido e o amor ainda estivesse lá como se eles nunca tivessem se separado? Quase não conseguimos nada deles namorando e eles voltaram na última parte do último episódio… também não tivemos uma cena ou diálogo adequado.

No es un BL al uso, y eso la daña
GMMTV debe ser muy cuidadosa con la forma en que promociona sus producciones, especialmente cuando se trata de propuestas corales que podrían ser mucho mejor recibidas si se presentaran como tales... si es lo que se espera, claro.Yo esperaba más de OffGun, y al final tuve muy poco. Además, el personaje de Jumpol me cayó fatal. ¿Cómo es posible que, después de tardar 11 episodios en pedirle salir a Atthaphan, te marches y pases tanto tiempo sin hablarle porque "si te hubiera hablado, habría querido volver antes", pero "todo sigue igual"? ¿Cómo puedes ser tan egoísta, Jane?
Por otro lado, ¿de verdad les parece buena idea venderle representación a las sáficas solo para que todo termine en drama? Chicas, el drama es algo que las sáficas ya tienen de sobra en los GL. Que den gracias de que no hacen como las fans de OhmNanon, que mandaron furgonetas con carteles dando vueltas por Bangkok...
Qué desperdicio, porque la serie empezó siendo fresca, con una propuesta que te hacía reír y hacía que la hora se pasara volando.
La salva el hecho de que, aun siendo un desastre, OffGun siempre ofrece una actuación de calidad.

No fue lo que esperaba
The trainee es la historia de un pasante en el mundo de la producción audiovisual sin ningún condimento de esta industria, sigue la historia de este pasante y sus compañeros donde no muestran como se va relacionando con este mundo y como surge el amor entre el y su superior.La premisa de la serie es básica, y desde un inicio sabia que la historia no seria la del próximo Oscar, pero igual me decepciono un poco, esperaba con ansias otra historia del OffGun y la verdad ellos fueron por lo que lo termine, porque en verdad la historia fue muy floja, no sentí una buena evolución en los personajes, y la supuesta pareja secundaria, no dio la talla, y hasta la sentí forzada. La historia es simple y pasa sin pena ni gloria, en algunos momentos te divierte y en otros simplemente te aburre y solo deseas que se acaba, esperaba mas... Vi esta historia en emisión y hasta ahora quise hacer la reseña, puedo decir que si, recuerdo perfectamente la historia, aunque no es una que recordare añorando las escenas ni nada por el estilo, simplemente recuerdo como es la historia y personajes, y puede que un futuro la olvide, aunque debo admitir que recordaba ya es un aspecto positivo para ella, he visto historia que me acuerdo del nombre por ver la portada o por la premisa básica, porque aveces ni los actores recuerdo... así que es un punto positivo, de alguna manera...
Sobre la musicalización pues la verdad sin pena ni gloria, no recuerdo mucho de esta, se que una vez me queje por la musicalizaron de una escena, pero tampoco fue la peor, no pasara a OST inolvidables, puesto que ya lo olvide, pero ahí esta, tampoco es tan mala, pero definitivamente no es la mejor.
sobre las actuaciones, me duele que no me gustara, la de muchos ni me la creí, pero valor con eso, siento que tenían talento pero lo dejaron sin explotar, a muchos de estos actores los he visto en otras serie y si saben actuar, pero en esta no se que les paso a algunos...
Como aspecto positivos de la serie, debo admitir que me gustaban los cierres de capitulo, donde todos hablaban de términos y cosas que giraban en el mundo de la producción audiovisual, que para las personas que no saben nada y vean la serie les ayuda a entender mas las escenas, admiro que intentaran tratar temas como la discriminación por tu simple aspecto, pero lo pudieron hacer mejor, com dije tuvo sus puntos positivos, unos mejores desarrollados que otros, y que espero y si vuelven a tratarlos lo hagan mucho mejor.
Sin mas, espero mas series del OffGun porque soy muy fan de la pareja y espero ver a los demás actores en futuros proyectos.

Y mis lesbianas??
No le tenía mucha fé pq no me suelen gustar las series de Off y Gun. No superó mis expectativas pero tampoco las bajó(?Los primeros capítulos son geniales, me cagué de risa. Ryan y su grupo de amigos eran todos personajes simpaticos en los que uno se puede reflejar. Cómo siempre, con el paso de los capítulos decae. La relación de Ryan y Jane no me llamaba mucho la atención, me interesaba más la serie por su comedia.
Ahora, no entiendo que quisieron hacer con Ba-Mhee. Al principio pensé que se iba a quedar con el novio, despues lo engaña con su mentora, termina con Tae, sale un rato con la mina esta y despues vuelve con Tae???? Me enojó de una maneraa. No entiendo cual fue el proposito. Pudieron hacer q Ba-Mhee y Tae tuvieran un conflicto sin meter a la chabona esta tipo(???? que tipo de queerbaiting es este dios.
Al final, le doy un 7. Si bien no me voló la cabeza, la pase bien viendola. Me la ví más q todo pq estaba en emisión, no se si me bancaria verla toda de corrido
