While "Love in the Air" the Thai version occasionally shows the car culture and the racing that happens, it focusing more on the relationship that blooms between Payu and Rain which is a gay romance, Rain is a University Student studying architecture and Payu works as a professional architect. Speed and Love while they do show the romance happening as well they focus on the racing culture a lot more in this drama along with the difference this is a heterosexual Chinese drama set in Thailand.
