The Sun in the Dark

Both leads have meet in multiple lifetimes that always end tragically. Both FLs have a dangerous, powerful identity inside them that ultimately takes over. Both MLs are demons in their current life, but not in the past ones. Both have "good" sects who actually do horrible things.

Both dramas have a "nighttime" deity ML (Night vs. Moon) and a FL who has some sort of curse (blood vs. seeing ghosts). Both dramas have a similar feel and characters.

The opening scenes are so similar you can’t help but wonder if it’s a rip off of the save story. Except that the girl wants to kill the night deity in SD whereas the FL was thankful for his help in MM…

ML’s character reminds me very much of Xu Feng’s demon lord persona. Same vibe, sake pining after the FL, between love and hate, and having a complicated past .

The Sun in the Dark feels like a low-budget remake of Love Between Fairy and Devil, but is still different in some ways and very fun to watch. In both dramas...
