A sleeper hit
I had never expected a short tv drama could produce such a good drama.I have always been sceptical about short tv dramas but this drama really exceeded my expectation.
The story is similar to most of the xianxia series but the actors in this series especially the female lead have done a really good job.
Watch it and you'd be surprised,

After a long time I have seen something good
It is a love story . I like the chemistry between the leads . Story has nothing new . Same demon and lord's love story but the execution part kept me captivating that I have never realised it is a eight minutes drama. Not at all feel bored while watching . Though I don't understand Chinese but I had enjoyed the song too . It doesn't have much characters but those were there they were good. Nothing extraordinary but you can watch for fun
The story is about romance between demon princess/leader and some heavenly sect lord who fell in love with her during childhood. Plot was ordinary to okay ..the same typical cycle of ex appearing out of nowhere .. miscarriage.. punishment... Blood spits etc ... FL and ML did a fine job ..she is very outgoing but turns shy as soon as something serious begins,on the contrast ML is serious character in the beginning but turns playful later on.Good chemistry.. beautiful cast .. fine VFX and fight scenes.
Definitely good for a one-time watch

Most dramas in this genre aren’t really original any more and this drama drew heavily from many others. I could clearly see inspiration from dramas like Love Between Fairy and Devil, Goodbye my Princess, and The Starry Love to name just a few. Some of the dialogue, scene set ups, styling, and character sketches were blatant knock offs. But like any good knock off, sometimes it’s more accessible and enjoyable to get the benefit of the thing without paying full price. This is a quick and enjoyable watch without too much effort.

Short and Sweet
The romance was beautiful, the banter was well-timed. Unlike most of the long-form dramas they did a good happy ending.The acting was brilliant and the chemistry was on-point. I wish it was slightly longer, with just a little more scenes in the demon realm in the beginning and more suffering sequences for the villains
(-0.5 because I wanted to see more badass action scenes from the female lead

One of the best mini drama in 2024!
I usually don't watch mini dramas but this one got me hooked. Yes it's like any other xian xia dramas but, unlike others where the storyline drags for how many plus episodes, this one is actually decent. My personal opinion, I say this drama one of the best. I try to watch other mini dramas after this one but, wasn't as hooked. Highly recommend!Was this review helpful to you?

Loved every second of it!
The production quality, storyline, VFX - I'm just spellbounded. What a well done drama! As you can see the rating says it all, only short Cdrama that got a rating of 8.1, I'm so mesmerized by their chemistry, I'll definitely keep a track of the leads' works from now. Had such a great time watching this. FL is best actingwise, I adore her so much. My only problems are -1. how can she stay pregnant when she had died in the mortal realm?
2. After 300 years, how can their daughter be only 9-10 years old girl?

Best romance in a short drama
When he lifted her nose with his I about fell out of my chair with the chemistry sizzling through the screen. This is top romance for a short drama.Despite it having a ton of predictable xianxia tropes it was still definitely worth watching and rewatching.
An added bonus is the ml is one of the hottest I've seen. I will def be watching his other works.
