Middle-Aged Romcom I'm In.
As I grow into an adult, I found a pure romance drama is not my cup of tea anymore. I do watch, but I don't find the thrill between the lovely chemistry of the main lead or the cute plot that many people fall in love with. But!! Love Your Enemy just dragged me back to the feeling of blanket-kicking, giggling, butterfly-on-my-stomach effect while watching the flashbacks of the main lead (both Jiwon) during teenage year and unfold new story again together as adults (or the past just never gone). It reminds me that a simply good plot with extraordinary actor and actress who pull perfect chemistry can be a very fun and healing drama as well. For me not only Ju Jihoon and Jung Yumi (their chemistry no doubt, hits the roof) but Hong Mingi and Oh Yeju who played younger Jiwons, give a very significant point on why I love this drama so much. It feels very nice that I can enjoy a romcom drama after awhile without getting bored until last episode!Was this review helpful to you?
There’s still no hope to raise expectations
I really enjoy the tension and bickering in relationships driven by love and hate. It usually adds a fun dynamic, and you find yourself eagerly waiting for that spark to ignite. However, I found the behavior of the two adult characters in this show quite childish. It seems like they haven't moved on from high school. After 18 years, shouldn't they have gained a bit of maturity? I thought that was kind of ridiculous.I haven't seen enough chemistry between the couple yet; their younger selves were way more exciting to me. It feels a bit early to do a deep dive into the story, but I definitely need more details about their past. Otherwise, it’ll just feel like a high school romance that was never resolved. They may have loved each other a lot, but with all those years gone by, life should have brought them some adulthood. It’s like there was a time skip, and they’re still stuck in the same year. But hey, they're 18 years older now, lol. Like, after they graduated high school, time just stopped, and then 18 years later, they picked up right where they left off. No matter what happens in their relationship, they should be able to handle it more maturely now. One's a teacher and the other's an architect, so it's really not that hard, right? :)))
I found the performances of the male and female leads a bit over-the-top. I hope we get to see more of how their lives went on while they were apart.
I’ll keep watching, but I just hope the story becomes a bit more grounded.

Fully grown adults yet...
I was sooo excited to watch this reading the synopsis like this is the kind of story I'm in need of right now and it started off so good! Loved how fun they were and i LOVED the acting of the younger scenes of them... but then as the story progressed i didn't get why they continued to act so ... childish/immature? I love the actors sm and am currently watching a drama by the ML rn, it was probably the way the characters were written but ugh after a couple of epsiodes it became a little hard to watch :( might try give it a chance again at some point but :(Was this review helpful to you?

PLOT: Deux familles sont amis -ennemis depuis plusieurs générations, et le conflit n'a cessé de s'enflammer. Le ML (Fam 1) et la FL (Fam 2) se chamaillaient depuis l'enfance et ont fini par sortir ensemble au lycée. Les circonstances les ont séparés. Ils se retrouvent 18 ans + tard, Il est Président du lycée et elle est prof de sport.
+++ TB cast (les acteurs sont géniaux, tant les jeunes que les acteurs confirmés). J'adore le CL （。ˇ ⊖ˇ）♡

Tenero e romantico
Un drama che ricorderò con piacere..leggero e divertente, romantico e con la giusta dose di mangia fegato 😁I primi episodi poi li passi a ridere a crepapelle fino a trasformarsi in qualcosa di più serio e adulto.
L'ultimo episodio poi con un happy ending lungo e che ti tiene con il sorriso stampato in volto..
Ogni piccola cosa riescono a chiuderla ..anche la verità nascosta dell'amica viene affrontata con tolleranza senza andare fuori dai limiti, tanto che trova pure lei il suo happy con il prof di matematica almeno ci fanno intendere così.
Bellissimo il dejavu con i ragazzi al liceo che si ritrovano a vivere il primo Amore come lo era stato per i nostri senior, troppo teneri!!
Il nonno fantastico sempre persino lui trova la compagna per la vecchiaia e chi? La madre di scarafaggio ahah che si rivela molto più buono di quello che è!!
Il cattivo della storia paga per i suoi crimini, riabilitando il nome dei genitori di ji won.
E i nostri due protagonisti finalmente si ritrovano alla prima neve esattamente come sarebbe dovuto succedere 18 anni prima. Dolcissimi dall'inizio alla fine idem la coppia junior che spero di rivedere presto in altri drama ..ah per non parlare dei bimbetti all'asilo!!!
Un bell'8 pieno è meritato ..l'attrice che ha interpretato ji won può non essere piaciuta ma io ho amato la sua espressività..i suoi occhi dicevano tutto, belli insieme, bella la storia senza troppe pretese, da vedere con cuore leggero.

Preferisco la versione giovane
Ne ho iniziato la visione con un po' di speranze siccome solitamente la minestra riscaldata non fa parte della mia comfort zone ma ultimamente qualche opera di mio gusto la trovo. Questo dava ottime promesse ma purtroppo l'esecuzione mi è risultata meh. L'unica cosa che salvo è la parte vecchia, ovvero tutte quelle scene in cui la coppia è giovane, ai tempi della scuola. Il resto è insulso. Guardandoli come erano un tempo ho provato sentimenti, emozioni, ho provato empatia per loro ma la coppia nel presente non mi ha trasmesso nulla, quasi come se non fossero gli stessi protagonisti ma venissero raccontate due storie diverse. La chimica tra i due attori non si avverte, le espressioni facciali non aiutano, e via dicendo. La questione della rivalità tra le famiglie l'ho trovata veramente mal gestita, strutturata coi piedi.. Del resto non me ne fregava nulla, ergo ho scelto di piantarlo.Was this review helpful to you?
Niente di nuovo e il già visto lascia pure a desiderare...
Mi sono sforzata di arrivare in fondo alla serie solo per coerenza, e questo la dice lunga. Romance banale, dove gli ostacoli dovrebbero essere questioni insormontabili ma che poi tali non sono. Niente di nuovo e il già visto non è un bel rivedere, insomma. Anche nell'ottica di un drama che punta al mero intrattenimento, non funziona. La storia è troppo insipida, gli attori lo sono anche di più, sia a livello di recitazione, espressività ed estetica. Spiace dirlo ma non sanno davvero di niente. Chimica ed empatia scarseggiano ovunque. Se penso al tema della rivalità tra famiglie, ne viene fuori meglio la tailandese "Bad Buddy". E il meccanismo della rottura da adolescenti e del ricongiungimento in età - molto - adulta è un altro esempio che non regge: fratture dettate da fraintendimenti e tempistiche sbagliate che però sembrano poi segnare a vita i protagonisti, i quali tuttavia passano le successive due decadi ciascuno sul proprio binario, mai alla ricerca dell'altro, salvo poi ritrovarsi più o meno costretti a un nuovo incontro e da lì rispolverare il sentimento adolescenziale quasi non se ne fosse mai andato. clichês sempre aquecem o coração.
eu sou simplesmente APAIXONADA por doramas que retratam o amor maduro de forma verdadeira e sincera.a história deles é muito linda e profunda, amo a forma que cada um lida com seus sentimentos e como ambos amadurecem ao passar dos episódios e ao longo dos momentos em que eles vão conversando e se perdoando por tudo.
lindos, românticos e sempre sinceros sobre tudo.

romance com casal mais velho sempre vai ter um espacinho mais que especial no meu coração!!!!

Je dois dire que ce petit drama m’a bien divertie dans l’ensemble ! 🫰🏻 Si vous aimez les romances où les sentiments se frottent à de vieilles rancunes familiales façon Roméo & Juliette version coréenne 🇰🇷🔥, alors ce drama pourrait bien vous plaire !L'intrigue n’a rien de révolutionnaire, c’est vrai 🤷🏼♀️, on retrouve des mécaniques classiques : familles ennemies, tensions, secrets, amours contrariés… mais le tout est porté par une bonne dose de légèreté et une belle énergie 💥👍🏻
J’ai souvent rigolé devant les situations absurdes ou les échanges piquants 😂 Et surtout, l’alchimie entre les leads fonctionne super bien ! Leur duo m’a tenue intéressée tout du long 💕 Ils rendent les scènes sincères et attachantes, même quand le scénario part un peu en mode pilote automatique 🛫😅
Alors oui, c’est un peu prévisible par moments, et certaines ficelles sont un peu grosses… mais franchement, j’ai passé un bon moment. C’est le genre de drama chill qui ne prend pas la tête et qui fait sourire entre deux dramas plus intenses ✨🍵
Bref, ça casse pas trois pattes à un canard, mais ça fait largement le taff ! 😌💯

Aquele clichê que a gente ama!
Uma historia de segunda chance para um primeiro amor, tudo envolto numa briga familiar por causa de um primeiro amor.Muita comedia, com final feliz.
Os atores que fazem os protagonistas foram um show a parte, trouxeram bastante intensidade para a história. Mas isso não diminui a boa atuação dos atores que fazer os protagonistas adultos.
Adoro protagonista esperto, e quando ele volta, já adulto, ele é bem esperto, da varias voltas no pai e no avô da protagonista, enxergar o que a "amiga" da protagonista esta fazendo, além de continuar cuidado da protagonista como ele fazia com ela quando jovem.
E prepare-se para ter seu coração derretido pelo amor desse dois!

Gostoso de assistir, mas pra mim faltou algo…
Aquele velho enredo de família inimiga, mas que sempre vai ter os dos contra para se amarem.Gostei do dorama, achei estranho ele não ter tido tanta repercussão (pelo menos eu não vi nada), mas pra mim faltou algo. Parece que faltou uma pequena faísca pra ser perfeito.
Eu amei os atores deles jovens, nossa, foi surreal. Queria até ter visto mais tempo deles em tela. E pra mim eles tiveram muito mais químicas do que a versão adulta. E acho que isso foi um dos fatores que pra mim faltou no dorama: não senti uma química entre os principais. Na verdade eu senti mais uma entrega da parte dele do que da dela. E também achei que faltou elaborar um pouco mais a história de alguns personagens, achei muito solto e isso me incomodou um pouco.
E pra mim não fez sentido eles não terem ligado para o que aquela suposta amiga dela fez. Pois para mim aquilo não é amiga. Ela desencadeou um desentendido que fez eles se separarem anos, e eles simplesmente não ligarem, acharam normal e tá tudo ok? Nossa, eu sou vingativa então, kkk. Aquilo não me desceu.
No mais um dorama divertido, que lhe arranca algumas belas risadas, mas que poderia ter sido melhor explorado, na minha opinião.

E que tal uma prequel ?
É uma excelente Rom-Com e que mesmo embora a história tenha muitos clichês consegue nos cativar e manter interessados ao longo do desenvolvimento do enredo. E o que fica mais gravado deste drama é:- História romântica e ligeira;
- Boa e cómica representação do ator principal;
- Excelentes músicas, OST's;
- Atuação excelente dos atores secundários das personagens principais jovens;
- Ambicionar por mais momentos das cenas dos personagens jovens.
