Good fluff for when you're sad or stressed
This is a not-too-deep drama that has some charming moments and decent chemistry. It's fluffy and nice, with little angst. The low angst is somewhat surprising given the premise, in which one of the leads makes a choice that is sure to hurt the other, but the show doesn't delve too deeply into the pain and resolves things quickly. The biggest potential turn off (assuming you're okay with fan-idol pairings) is that the idol lead is somewhat immature. In my opinion it fits with the sort of narrow life experience an idol has and while he makes a bad choice at the beginning, he doesn't actually come across as a bad person, and he shows some growth. However, I could see his choices and his immaturity sitting poorly with some viewers.
The couple is cute. It's definitely a cute romance rather than a passionate one. I recommend for days when you're sick, sad, or generally feeling down and you want a distraction.

The story was good. Since I'm a forgetful person, I was surprised by the "twist" even though I did read the webtoon. It's nice to see a revenge from the point of view of the victim, and not the one who tried to get revenge. Angst, sweet and good chemistry. Great drama.
Only cons, it I expected them to show more of the secondary couple. How they did get back together, a REAL conversation. It felt too rush, knowing the fact that this realtionship lead the main relation to exist...

A pleasant surprise, but not entirely.
My Bias Is Showing is exactly the kind show you put on with zero expectations and somehow end up having a pretty good time. It’s colorful, silly, and sometimes way too over-the-top, but there’s something oddly genuine buried in all that chaos. The plot is almost too simple. It’s cute, sure, but it never really dares to dig deeper. If the story had taken itself just a little more seriously, it could’ve turned into something truly special instead of just a fun watch.
Then there are the “goofy ahh” moments, you can tell the show really wants to be funny, sometimes too hard, unfortunately it never works out. It’s charming in its own awkward way, but also a bit exhausting at times.
And to talk about the music choices, half the time it feels like someone hit shuffle on a random playlist. The soundtrack jumps from catchy to cringey without warning, which kind of fits the shows chaotic personality, but still makes you raise an eyebrow more than once. Hearing an up-beat song when the scene is supposed to be ''emotional'' is bit of a stretch.
Despite all that, I’d still recommend it. It’s imperfect, a little too goofy for its own good, but it’s got heart. If you don’t take it too seriously, My Bias Is Showing is the kind of feel-good mess that’s easy to enjoy. Especially if you’re in the mood for something light, fun, and unapologetically unserious.

Cute!
Being honest here: I only watched this because I'm a fan of Omega X. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I'm always going to criticize the typical format of KBLs, because there's rarely enough time to actually accomplish what they want to do with the show. I feel like this show had the perfect amount of romance, plot, and conflict for the time that it had! Was it the best show ever? Maybe not. Was it super fun to watch? Absolutely.Na Aejoon (Kevin) is a high school teacher and long-time fan of idol group A-One. It just so happens that his bias, Choi Siyeol, ends up doing a variety show at the high school Aejoon works at - and asks specifically for Aejoon to show him around. Aejoon tries to play it cool around Siyeol, making sure he doesn't know that he's a fan, but when Siyeol starts flirting with Aejoon, that becomes much more difficult. However, Siyeol's motives for flirting with Aejoon aren't clear, especially as conflicts with other group members resurface.
Like I said, I mostly watched this for Kevin (and he was ADORABLE in it), but I ended up really enjoying it! If you're looking for a short, cute, and fun show, this is definitely a good one to watch. I wanted more for the side couple but, again, this show was short. If you like idol romance, or are just a fan of big height differences in couples, give this one a try!

Sweet, Silly, and Seriously Entertaining!
This is a light-hearted fluff comedy show—short, sweet, and feel-good. You won’t feel like you wasted your time.I loved all four leads. The main couple—Na Aejoon, the teacher, and idol Si Yeol have a charming romance that develops quickly. The teacher is hilariously awkward and gives you secondhand embarrassment in the best way. The idol is a flirt master with a hidden agenda: he's taking revenge for his best friend.
The second couple —(cousin of the teacher and BFF of idol) isn’t shown much, but you can tell they’re well-developed. They share a past that neither can fully leave behind or forget, adding emotional depth to even their brief scenes. I wish we had more scenes of them; they had a great storyline.
What I loved about this drama is that it wasn’t just funny and engaging—it also balanced those lighthearted moments with some genuinely serious and heartbreaking moments, giving the story more layers and making it feel truly well-rounded.
Both couples have a good amount of chemistry. The first kiss scene between the main couple was a letdown, but not enough to ruin the vibe. However, the second one made up for it.
There’s a fun cameo from a Jazz for Two cast members.
I liked the acting, especially towards the end when they both were hurting. The cinematography complements the light-hearted tone with bright, warm colors, giving the show a cozy vibe. However, it sometimes felt a bit too dreamy, especially in the beginning.
Overall, I loved this series and would definitely watch it again. It's a genuinely hilarious, great pick-me-up, and refreshingly free of dragging episodes—likely because it’s such a short series. I would definitely recommend it.

Immersive fantasy!
I loooved this show! It got me kicking and screaming all the time. Simple and effective, touching and sweet! All characters had the chance to flow with their arc and their chemistry was truly awesome. This show made it clear that a simple plot is sometimes better than a complicated and presumptuous story. Easy to follow but charming and engaging at the same time. It was my first time seeing these actors, but they really nailed it bringing to us a moving and loving example in BL. Not cringy, but hilarious. An all rounder! OST and incidental music and effects were also quite coherent and enriched the show. I'll be watching out for more series like this one bringing some laughs, fun and relaxation when needed. Was this review helpful to you?
Another KBL Done Right
I love everything about this BL series—from the plot, characters, main leads, and their development... and of course, the height difference! It's just too adorable! 😍My Bias Is Showing is a cute story about a fanboy and a celebrity. Aejoon, a fan of Siyeol, unexpectedly meets him when Siyeol need to film a movie at the school where Aejoon works. Not only is Aejoon a fan, but he also has a huge crush on him. It’s so relatable—the awkwardness, the nervous energy—when you’re around someone you like and don’t know how to act.
What I really appreciated is how they written Aejoon’s character. It wasn’t exaggerated or cringey. His flirty little inner thoughts were super cute, and the sound effects made everything even funnier. The show starts off light, fluffy, and easy to watch. But by episode 4, things get heavier due to a past misunderstanding. Still, that kind of conflict keeps the story from feeling flat.
I can’t explain how much I enjoyed this series. It’s officially my second favorite K-BL—Semantic Error being the first. Every scene feels meaningful; nothing is boring or dragged out. The pacing is just right for a mini-series, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, and their acting feels natural.
Also, I don’t mind that there are no NC (explicit) scenes—it’s not something I look for in a BL. What matters to me is quality and a story that feels genuine and heartfelt, and this one delivered.
One thing I found a little unclear was the second couple's storyline. The whole breakup and one of them pretending to have a new boyfriend felt vague. If he did have a new boyfriend, I wish they had shown it more clearly.
My only complaint? It’s too short! Each episode is around 23 minutes, but about 6 minutes are usually recap scenes. There are only 10 episodes total, and I really wish we had more.
All in all, I’m completely satisfied. If you're looking for something adorable, funny, and light with just the right amount of drama, I highly recommend My Bias Is Showing.

light and fluffy
I read the comic first, and then I watched the show and all I’m going to say is the cast did an amazing job bringing to life the emotions, the visuals, and the tears from the from the comic. New cast for me. I don’t recall seeing them before, but I’m genuinely hyped to see them again. They got a new fan here with me. Not a life changing story but it will keep you entertained. Was this review helpful to you?

Na Aejoon my baby
*happy ending*I love love love Na Aejoon and the actor who acted as him. He portrayed the character really well and he was soooo adorable that he really turned into a baby in my eyes that I so wanted that chasing arc to last 5 episodes just to see Si Yeol suffer more.
Kevin is so naturally adorable that none of his scenes are weird or embarrassing to watch. His micro expressions are so adorable.
On the other hand, Kang Min, the actor of Si Yeol is so robotic for most of the episodes prior to episode 8. I actually can't differentiate when his character fell in love with Aejoon. And the chasing arc made it seem like he didn't have that much remorse. The series is cute though and the kissing scenes although short, is not awkward or uncomfortable.
How I wish they really expanded the chasing arc more but I know the manhwa did the same. Aejoon is just so in love that way. Still, how dare Si yeol hurt my baby like that. I am still seething. I hope he makes it up with Aejoon for the rest of his life.
I also loved the second couple's story but I hope that paparazzi gets his just desserts because the series seems to gloss over that issue.
I wish this was longer. I feel like the song writing, Aejoon's career, and other plot points can be more elaborated, but I also think it was made that way in order for us to read the original instead. So here I am rereading it 😂
P.S Aejoon looks a lot like Namping in other scenes. It adds on his adorableness
Edit: naah better to rewatch the series than reread the manhwa. The miscommunication there has been stretched to season 2. Si yeol looked more like a bigger jerk there than here.

Has the visuals, but hope they can show us better story pacing
As expected for a Korean BL, the visuals are serving! All four of them are considered to be handsome. However, my favorite among them is the cousin of the MC, manager Ji Kyu Sung, also known as Hong Jun in real life. He can be manly and cute at the same time. I also love his character here. I just wish the second couple had more screen time and story, because their story and chemistry are equal to or greater than the main couple. The story of a fanboy and a fan being together at the end sounds like a cliché. But in this show, I was invested in the plot twist that also became a double-edged sword for the main couple. I enjoyed the early days of flirting and slowly falling in love with the revelation that the idol star has its own motive for approaching Ae Jun.
Which also leads me to be disappointed in how they resolved this issue. It seems so fast, and the scenes were not convincing enough. I liked that they let Si Yeol hurt a little longer for what he deserved for betraying Ae Jun. But his character was just total trash when he tried to reconcile with the teacher without apologizing first. Also, Ae Jun forgiving him immediately after showing his room full of posters of his face seems unexciting and not well-written.
It is pretty enjoyable BL with a light story and an eye-candy set of cast. However, we can just disregard the lack of creative writing of the storyline, especially since the plot has the potential to be presented more entertainingly and reasonably. Nevertheless, I still had a great time watching this show.

Good fluff but not impressive
It's a lovely story, a fan-girl ultimate dream come true. It's very simple and of course lacks some sparkles but it's good enough to entertain.
The webtoon was more explicit as far as I remember, I picked it up a while ago and decided after a few chapters that it wasn't for me, and I opted to watch the adaptation instead.
And I believe it's heavily tuned down.
This version is much lighter and fluffy, still as cute and warm but also excessively censored.
I don't think the chemistry was great here, both actors looked good together but on the other hand, there were not much intimacy here so I don't think chemistry mattered that much, they fit and that's more than enough.
I loved the SC story too, Ju Ha was adorable, I needed to see more of him and probably would go back to the webtoon if their story is explained more in it.
Overall cute fluffy and adorable for a light BL lovers~
