I loved the BL theme! It was refreshing to see a famous person and an unknown fall for each other. Only wish the episodes were longer. Exciting to see more K-pop singers embracing BL.You can find more of my reviews on Instagram. :D See my homepage about my Instagram account. Don't give up on the series early, it gets better
As I got involved watching this series, it really didn't feel like it was going to turn into anything special, at least that's the way I felt early on. The story seemed really good, meeting up and working with someone you idolized from a distance, but not letting them know about it, then of all things, getting involved with that person romantically ... it's a great story to watch play out, but it didn't seem to be working. The first five episodes seemed boring, with the acting and writing lacking a bit ... AND, I'm not exactly sure what happened from episode 6 and beyond, but it changed for the better in a big way. It was like a new drama started. The story became very interesting, the acting finally showed up in a big way ... and the series was enjoyable right through the ending.Si Yeol & Ae Jun go from looking extremely uncomfortable, to a perfect fit as you get into the late episodes. It turns out to be a great match up with the supporting cast coming into focus in the last few episodes.
Kang Min & Kevin definitely step up in performance in the later part of the series, showing some great scenes in episode 9 & 10, making you forget the early part of the drama.
In the end, it's a great finish and it turns out to be a great story with the acting to match.

Showing Off My Bias
This was adorable. Kdrama's often have a higher budget than some other BL's, though they sometimes lacked in chemistry. This was not that, I honestly really enjoyed our leads paired together! It's hilarious that 3 of the main characters are actual idols or previously idols. Whereas the one playing the idol Kang Min is not, he's just a tall gorgeous model. You wouldn't know acting wasn't these guys first gig too, they did a great job! I think we were kinda skimped out on any real character development with our side couple, they just kinda intertwined with SiYeol and Aejun's love story. I know they're meant to be exes rekindling, but I wanted to see a lot more from them. The episodes were short so adding in some depth would've really helped the story for me.Was this review helpful to you?

First review ever!!!!!
Okay,I am so overwhelmed and pissed at the same time.
Overwhelmed because I've been waiting since forever for this type of a BL drama. And A Korean BL at that. The fanboying process, the sweet relationship progress, the cuteness. THE CAST!!!!! KIM KANG MIN!!!!!!!!!!! The main couple is truly a match made in heaven (According to what Ji Kyu Sung said in the drama).... Also, It was worth watching 3 times. I think the story went into my core deep. So, won't be necessary to watch it again (Who knows?? Depends on the mood)
Pissed because the story felt rushed. Imagine the person who've loved, giving all your heart, your soul, your mind confesses that they've used you to get back at the person who hurt their crush (ex crush in this case) and didn't love you sincerely (the confession scene is so cute and heartbreaking, would you forgive them within 2 episodes time?? No right??? I would literally be traumatized for the rest of my life and wouldn't be able to move on. This is one of the times I felt kbls should move out of the typical "20 minutes - 8 episodes" stereotype. Cause, they could've included the drama and heartbreak Na Ae Joon goes through after he was betrayed and more cute scenes about how Choi Siyeol tries to win him back. It felt rushed how they broke up and got back together in 3 EPISODES......
Lastly,
Did I enjoy the drama? - Obvi, Obvi (OMG!!! Yes, I did)
Was it up to the hype I expected ?- Not really
Will I watch it ever again? - As I said, depends on the mood
Would I imagine myself in this kind of a situation - FUCK YES!!!!!

baila con bias?!
it is i, the niel.i didn't have many expectations for this show. i thought it was going to be very cringey based on the synopsis, but i actually enjoyed how absurd it was. i love my "5'6" king. the length of the episodes was well-paced. niel has to acknowledge the presence of L.Joe. shoutout?! the essence of teen top improved the viewing experience.
anyway, the actual story was very simple and a bit parasocial, but i didn't really care. most of the goofy moments hit the mark, which is rare (especially with the amount of sound effects they used). i was down for how ridiculous it was, and Aejun wasn't useless. he was a likable, capable character. i really liked that Siyeol was the one simping for him. if you like simple and silly shows, go for it. i'm going crazy!
best,
the niel.

A Sweet Fantasy That Knows Exactly What It Is
I waited for this to be fully released, then waited again before finally watching it and honestly it was worth the delay. It delivered exactly what I hoped for: something fun, light, and charming enough to reset my brain after heavier dramas. One big motivation for me was Kevin from Omega X. With half the group already having acted, I was curious and a bit nervous to see how he’d do. I didn’t expect him to act, but he ended up doing a solid job and gave Ae Jun a believable mix of softness and sincerity. Given everything Omega X has been through and their lack of a group comeback, I’ll take any content they give us, and seeing Kevin shine made me genuinely happy.
The story itself uses an idol fan fantasy concept that we’ve seen in BLs many times. My Bias Is Showing?! doesn’t try to reinvent anything but instead embraces a simple plot and executes it cleanly. It’s fun, straightforward, light, and surprisingly balanced. The drama doesn’t collapse under its own tropes because it never tries too hard. And honestly, that worked.
My one gripe is something I will never understand about Korean BL pacing. Why do they always reveal the entire climax around episode seven when there are still a few episodes left? With a bit more breathing room, Siyeol and Gyu Seong’s confrontation could have been more emotional, and Ae Jun’s grief deserved a deeper, more gradual payoff. The story had space for more impact but chose to keep things fast and tidy.
Still, it stayed satisfying. The hints about the main conflict were repeated early, so I already had a feeling about where things were going, and surprisingly that didn’t ruin anything. It just made the reveal feel earned. Plus, the ending tied everything up without weird cliffhangers. If they want a season two, they left the door open. If not, the story still feels complete.
Now, the actors. Kangmin is a standout. He’s handsome, expressive, and knows how to switch between cute, emotional, and charismatic without looking forced. He’ll go far with the right scripts. Kevin held his own, which made their pairing easy to believe. And the proper kissing scene? Thank you. If you’re going to do it, do it right.
Their height difference also added a cute layer and the comedic scenes sprinkled throughout kept the drama bright. The cinematography was decent and the OST was good even if it didn’t hit as hard as classics from A Shoulder to Cry On or Jazz for Two. Still, having Omega X members in the soundtrack will always be a win for me.
Overall, My Bias Is Showing?! is a simple and effective KBL that’s perfect when you want something fun without emotional overload. It doesn’t demand much, but it gives enough charm, humor, and heart to keep you watching. I’d definitely rewatch it and I hope to see more projects from the actors. And maybe, just maybe, more Omega X members trying acting too.

It had to grow on me
At first the height difference and extremely shy main really bothered me. The dynamics between them were all wrong. But from the moment they started dating i grew fond of this series. And from episode 8 i really liked it!
In te last 2 episodes the dynamics between them were very good and they also had a little chemistry.
It was a nice story with some funny, sweet and sad moments.
I loved the second couple.
The visuals and music were good.
The acting was good.
I recomment watching it. I'm not shure if i will rewatch it, maybe one time.

Really good, surprisingly
This drama is really fun, no kidding. As a person that enjoys non-heavy conflicts, this drama is so fitting for me. I love how cutesy and bubbly the vibe is, and I also love how the conflict is to the point and clear. Although yes, I do agree with everyone else’s reviews here about how low and inaccurate the MC is acting once he knew the truth. They just brush it off very lightly as if it’s nothing. But I think even if they do want to do more, they can’t, and that’s because of the duration of the drama. I’m just gonna think that the MC is so so very in love with the ML that he can’t hate him for long🤷♀️.Aside from that, I really have no other problems. The drama is surprisingly entertaining and fun to watch. Everyone’s acting, especially the ML, is so good it seems like they are friends in real life. Thank God I found this drama because I almost overlooked it. I was so happy when I finished watching, because holy crap, for some reason it was so hard for me to find a good, completed BL drama these days.
So yeah. Go watch it if you haven’t.

Dating Your Bias Fantasy Drama (I Loved it!)
This drama is definitely not the best BL out there, but I had such a great time with it! It’s light, silly, and super fun, exactly what I needed. Based on the title, poster, and synopsis, you’d probably guess it’s just a fluffy little drama, and that’s exactly what it is. If you don’t expect too much, it’s really enjoyable.Plot & Setup:
What would you do if your K-pop bias suddenly appeared at your new job, and now you have to work with him? That’s exactly what happens to Na Aejun, a teacher and devoted fan who suddenly has to hide his fanboy side to stay professional. The setup is cute and funny, and it kept me smiling through most of the episodes.
Characters:
Na Aejun – I absolutely adored him! He’s such a cutie, and his flustered reactions whenever his bias flirted with him were priceless.
Choi Siyoel – Tall, handsome, and at first motivated by a misunderstanding to “revenge flirt” with Aejun, only to fall for him instead.
Second couple – They didn’t get much screen time, but they were sweet (especially in the last episode when the broken-up couple got back together).
Kyu Seong & Na Aejun (the cousins) – Their bickering was everything. Honestly one of my favorite dynamics.
Juha & Na Aejun’s friendship – I loved that they became friends at the end (and lol, clearly Siyoel has a type).
The romance was super cute, with lots of funny and heart-fluttering moments. The angst setup was promising (one hiding his fan side, one flirting for revenge), but it felt a little one-sided. I think it would’ve been better with a more sincere apology from Siyoel, but I still liked how Aejun didn’t forgive too easily—his cold shoulder and avoidance made the eventual reconciliation sweeter. Watching Siyoel try to win him back was adorable.
Overall:
It’s not deep, it’s not groundbreaking, but it’s cute, funny, and charming. And honestly, that’s all that matters to me. 💕

Quite fun
I came into this show with low expectations. The plot idea was interesting, and I can't deny the height difference was important to pique my curiosity. But as with many BLs starring an active K-pop idol, I expected more of a bromance and no kisses, as we've seen from BLs with other Omega X members (I'm looking at you, A Shoulder to Cry On and Jazz for Two). The first episode also made me question if Kim Kangmin would be a good actor. But the show actually became quite fun and interesting. For an idol BL the kiss on episode 9 was great. Kangmin proved me wrong, especially in later episodes where his character had to be more vulnerable. Kevin was also good in the role. I wasn't sure I'd be able to root for the couple after the lie was exposed, but I feel like the show delivered a good resolution for the issue. The secondary couple didn’t have much to do, but I liked them too.Was this review helpful to you?
I was obsessed with the chemistry between Kim Kang Min and Kevin (I have a soft spot for height difference couples!). They nailed their roles. Siyeol starts off cold, distant, and laser-focused on revenge, but slowly gets swept up by Na Aejoon’s awkward, adorable charm and watching that shift was just delightful.
Major props to Kim Kang Min for his portrayal of Siyeol. At first, he’s stiff and almost expressionless, hiding all his emotions and desires. But once he confesses his love for Aejoon, his whole demeanor changes, his face, his posture, everything softens. For someone who claimed he’d never be clingy in a relationship, Siyeol turns into the most lovesick puppy ever.
And Na Aejoon? He steals every scene with his radiant presence, genuine smiles, and heartfelt admiration for Siyeol. His fanboying is sweet, a little naive, but always respectful. His inner flirty thoughts were so cute. I loved that he stayed true to himself, both in love and at work, showing real maturity and self-respect.
Aejoon and Jooha becoming besties because they understand the whole give and take? That was the cherry on top.

A very much needed (and greatly appreciated) surprise.
I went into this drama with low expactations. KBLs were once my favorites, but this year was somehow disappointing, so I just started it with this in mind. But oh damn, was I wrong. This one surprised me in so many different ways - and I am not complaining about it.Korea feeds us well with this drama, as well as with My Secret Vampire. Both dramas have this typical korean charm and magic feeling and i love them both.
MBiS was entertaining, funny, charming and had sooo many moments I kept rewinding over and over and over again, because it was so much fun to watch them. It made me giggle, it made me kick my feet, it made me swoon and it made me feel connected to the characters. I can totally relate to Ae Jun!
The story feels like a breeze of fresh air. We don't get hit too hard with the stereotypical tropes & it has a nice little twist, which I haven't seen like this before (and I watched a bunch of dramas :') )
I loved the acting - I always think Idols have a nice base for acting since they have to do all the fanservice and stuff. :D
I agree when it comes to the soundtrack..for an Idol drama, we have very little songs. The only thing that reminds us of Si Yeol being an Idol is the fact that Ae Jun doesnt let us forget that he's a big fan. But that wasnt something that bothers me, because I usually dont watch idol-dramas. Not a big fan of those plot bc of several tropes that get usually used there.
The side couple was amazing, too. They could have been a little more fleshed out, but I also dont deduct any points for the way they are now. I have a bad crush on Lee Byung Hun now. T_T
Pacing is an important factor for me and I was able to binge episode 3-8 without any issues. It kept me engaged, happy and entertained. c: It doesn't feel dragged or noticeably rushed in a way that it would hurt the story.
Overall, its a comfy, funny, adorable show with nice actors, a good soundtrack and a ton of relatable moments if you are a fan of something yourself. It's been a while since a drama had me this obsessed, happy, giggling and excited about it, so I am truly relieved that i didnt skip this gem. :D
I highly recommend it for the ones that miss the typical k-feeling in the recents KBLs. (And go watch My Secret Vampire!!!)
