For introverts!
As an introvert, I am kinda happy to see some representation in films. I find them really cute and there are instances when I really want them to talk! Oh my god. I am literally screaming inside PLEASE CAN YOU MAKE A MOVE?! I mean, after all, I think they are just afraid that they might misunderstand each other. Silent Sparks
I can't even begin to express how much I adored this! It was the perfect mix of adorable and painfully relatable for anyone who's ever been an introvert with a crush. The slow burn of the whole thing had me gripping my pillow with all the tension, and yet, it was so charming I couldn’t help but smile through the awkwardness. Cologne guy, he knew exactly what was going on! 😂 The inner monologues? Chef’s kiss. I just wish it was longer, or even a full-length movie, because I honestly would've watched hours of that shy, cute energy. Being an introvert can be tough, especially when you like someone, and this nailed that feeling so perfectly. A solid 10 from me, without a doubt! 🥰Was this review helpful to you?
More of a Silent Film than a Silent Film itself
Being an introvert and an overthinker myself, this short film feels as if it knew me more than even I knew myself. Being able to understand every single emotion and thought process of a character with minimal dialogue isn't something to be taken lightly. It masterfully tells the storyline more through the visual senses more so rather than the auditory ones.Was this review helpful to you?
Creepy or cute ?
I came upon this short series on YouTube.I was very intrigued by the short clips they posted which seemed like a very cute and adorable storyline .The series is a blossoming love story between a Japanese worker who is transferred to china and a Chinese girl who works in the same building.Its a cliched love at first sight story. The thing that excited me the most was that leads are introverts who are too shy to approach each other .Their feelings are conveyed to the audience through their thoughts .This seemed like a very interesting plot to me .It's always sweet to see new love blossoming and that what I thought I was in for .
After watching the entire series I've changed my mind .The ML was low key creepy than sweet.To be fair the female isnt far better. They both try various methods to catch each other's attention instead of a standard "hello".
The acting by both the leads are good .But their characters were more shady than sweet in my opinion.But I guess people in Iove do act a bit crazy at times.I'm sure many people won't agree with my take on this .It depends on how people perceive things .Some people might find this type of behavior as cute .I don't know if this is because I'm from a different cultural background,that I feel this way abt it.
Overall the series is okay ,not the best in the opinion.It had great potential which they failed to achieve.
But for the small budget I feel like they did their best .Could have improved the script in my opinion.

I due protagonisti lei cinese e lui giapponese, che cercano in tutti i modi di parlarsi, ma il loro tempo è limitato, infatti è quello di un viaggio in ascensore. Lavorano a due piani diversi, ma tutte le mattine prendono lo stesso ascensore e tutte le mattine cercano di avvicinarsi un po' di più, peccato che per via di tutti gli altri avventori dell'ascensore sembra che la cosa non sia fattibile. Quindi, ce la faranno i due?
Galeotto fu l''ascensore che li ha fatti innamorare a prima vista! :D
