Ingore low ratings Really good and cute couple
this show is a 10 on 10 , the low rating is only based on the ending which is 1%of the whole show , y'all should be glad that mc doesn't die or breakup in end and people rating this low only because of the ending ,my opinion on ending - I recently rated a drama 1 then 5-7 on different places and story actually sucks and the ml dies in the end , so 1-5 isn't wrong to rate that one , but this one only in the end they suddenly come back in time which I thought was unnecessary, because most of these time travel I have read in MANWHA so they do no go back to original world I just accept whatever it is I actually do not like this past time travel plot but I'm watching anyway since this is trend now , the first 20 eps seem pointless if they come back but the focus of the story wasn't to end some tragedy but blossom of romance which happened so you can't say that they won't come back if they can go back in time they can come back too, I actually enjoyed this drama as much I have HIDDEN LOVE AND FLY TOWARDS YOU it's not one of my favourite but definitely to be in top and ratings between 9-10 since there's no unnecessary drama or anything annoying , y'all also don't understand that she lost her identity? she came back to future with her memory so how can that be lost of identity? she is has new identity, she would probably go back working or won't have issues since she's more capable, and another thing she has a fiance? not bf but fiance? she already has no issues for her future it doesn't matter if they come back in time

The premises was soo good it's similar to Legally romance but the execution fell of a little bit.The show was amazing till ep 20 when the sml became a villiaan for no reason, and tf was that ending!!!!! They completely invalidated both their efforts, botched the ending horribly, would not recommend. Was this review helpful to you?

skip last 12 min
I really enjoyed this drama. It had it all, story, actors, scenery and music. I loved both the leads. I’ve seen both in other dramas. I think this ml needs a romcom for me to watch. Anyway, I understand why they had to do that to the ending, butin my need for HEA I was able to pull the plug before my heart was broken. Thanks to the one on Facebook that told me to skip the last 12 min.
I will add that the sml made my heart break for him when he went wildly wrong. That’s a first for me

Ending
I really liked the first 20 episodes. Would've given it a solid 8.5 if it wasn't for the ending. Now, the ending: they should’ve stopped at the proposal scene. The last few minutes were completely unnecessary, and the whole subplot with Tian Yu (2nd ML) toward the end wasn’t needed. The ending felt like ragebait at this point.

They gave use a sweet ending, we just fail to see it
I know many are unhappy with the ending we got, but let’s be frank, the last 10 minutes of this drama was merely a filler to pass censorship rules. watch this drama till the 33rd minute of the 23rd episode and you have your perfect drama. I think this was done on purpose, they pushed the censorship rule as far into the last episode as the could, and gave us a happy ending in both lives.we were given a beautiful story of second chances and personal development, I have to say it was quite satisfied with the outcomes of all the characters, but even with the ending of them going back to their first lives, I see their experiences as a foundation to build on for their futures. it’s never to late to start working on yourself, even when you don’t have a second chance.
so it’s a good drama, watch it, enjoy it, if you don’t want to see them go back to their first life, then end your drama at the proposal scene and save yourself the stress, if you want to be a hopeful person, that sees possibility of a beautiful relationship for two people who have had a glimpse into what their lives can be if they are together, then by all means finish the drama.
a good drama isn’t always about the ending, it’s about the journey. do not be deterred. the problem is not as serious as you think.

Liked the drama . . . LOVED the ending
First of all, I watch all Sun Zhen Ni's dramas because she is the most beautiful woman in China. That said, the story is kind of ridiculous how a quitter staff girl gets to relive her looser life, make much better decisions and ends up in a much better life. The problem with the story is that she's way too good at everything in the drama to be human. She goes from the last quartile of students to one of the top university candidates and the implausible story gets worse from there. But then the ending snaps everything back to reality and made the entire show utterly entertaining to me. I noticed many reviewers complained that the ending ruined the whole show but for me, it was the opposite. Was this review helpful to you?

started out fun but then lost its steam towards the end...
Let me start off by saying the romance is good. There are plenty of cute moments and both leads take initiative. So you will get plenty of fluff and screentime of the leads. The story begins with the leads "traveling back in time" through a elevator incident. This gave them the chance to relive their lives in a different manner. The female lead worked extremely hard to not repeat her mistakes and go for the dreams she originally had. In this process she meets the ML who helps her achieve her dreams. This is how eventually they fall in love.
The story was fun during the high school period. Towards university when the actual romance starts, other than the fluff, the main plot became weird. The entire plot involving coding, development and auto cars was very unrealistic and not really planned well. So while watching those scenes u kinda just have to take it as it is without any logic.
The ending was even worse, the SML who was a innocent guy with a crush suddenly became a obsessive SML and they added kidnap and sabotage plots in the last 3eps... Most of the plot behind is protecting their startup but because it wasnt developed properly there isnt a connection between viewers and the plot.
The last episode just threw all their efforts away....the reason for their time travel was just wasted and all their efforts were gone...
Anyway you can watch it for the fluff and skip the rest....especially the other leads... they are just so boring and make no progress..

It is a cheesy but watchable RomCom that involved time-travel concept. No originality.
Summit of Our Youth is a time-travel Romantic Comedy starring Sun Zhen Ni and Cheng Jing Ke. It is a cute and watchable RomCom, and the on-screen chemistry between the main characters was good. The plot was mediocre, lacking originality, but it was still watchable.
Synopsis: In her past life, Gu Xue Jiao failed her college entrance exams due to her "love-obsessed" mindset. After years of struggling in the workplace, she remained a bottom-tier outsourcing employee. She even became the primary target of her "ruthless boss", Lin Zhi Hua, during a round of layoffs. When Gu Xue Jiao confronted Lin Zhi Hua, an unexpected twist sent her back in time to her third year of high school. Given a second chance, Gu Xue Jiao learns from her previous mistakes. Determined to prioritize her studies over romance, she transforms from being "love-focused" to "career-focused". While rewriting her destiny, she also forges a sweet and mutually fulfilling romance with Lin Zhi Hua, where both individuals become significant influences on each other's lives.

CUTE and RELAXING
CONS:1. Series feel very slow at the beginning.
2. Fake kisses with mouth moving in the emptiness, no tongue and not-so-clever use of camera angles. The KISSES SUCK. I'm sorry. I like to have good kisses when watching my ROMANCE.
3. Some very irritating characters. They get better but you do have to "suffer them" for quite a number of episodes before they turn around.
4. Shitty ending. As mentioned by everybody just skip the last 10 minutes or so if you want to forget it... Honestly I watched it and it's easily skippable. You won't be missing anything, but it's not as terrible as people have made it out to be, if you're mentally prepared.
5. Useless and unfair breakup in ep 19. FL lied as well, I still don't understand in what way exactly the ML was more at fault.
6. End of Ep 20 to beginning of episode 23. The Show is turning all dramatic for no good reason. It feels like, like in many C dramas, they don't want us to have even the slightest of slightest of second lead syndrome so they had to completely ruin Yi Tian Yu's character. SML deserved a better treatment.
PROS:
1. Adorable and easy to root for leads.
2. Lots of skinship in spite of the fake kisses.
3. Both leads bring the best out of each other, though the FL benefits more from the ML than the opposite.
4. Relaxing show. Not too much angst, but not nothing happening either.
CONCLUSION
I would say the pros count double in my book. Not extraordinary compared to other dramas in the genre... If you don't watch it you won't miss much... But if you do, it's a very relaxing show. As far as Modern drama MLs go, Lin Zhi Hua is top tier.
Best watched without binging at a leisurely pace. Watch this after a shitty day at work/school, it will bring a smile to your face.
Worth the time invested.

Honestly, this is probably the second-best Chinese drama I’ve watched after "The Best Thing".*Acting & Characters:
The lead actor did an excellent job, his expressions and performance felt very natural. He convincingly portrayed both the innocence of a student and the maturity of an adult, which really enhanced the storytelling.
*Storyline:
The plot starts with the expectation that a second chance at life would allow the characters to completely turn things around. However, the twist at the end was refreshing and thought-provoking. Instead of simply erasing past mistakes, the drama highlights how those errors become part of us—baggage that shapes our future. This perspective gave the story more depth and emotional weight.
*Overall Impression:
The drama beautifully balances pure love with meaningful life lessons. It’s heartfelt, engaging, and leaves you reflecting even after it ends.
I would 100% recommend this drama—and I’ll probably rewatch it again!
