"Bitch X Rich" returns for a second season, and it doesn't miss a beat. The drama successfully builds on the foundation of its first season, diving deeper into the ruthless world of Cheongdam International High School.
Season 2 intensifies the power struggles and social commentary that made the original so compelling, while also introducing new layers of mystery and character development

What Makes It Good?
New Mystery:
The second season immediately thrusts viewers back into the high-stakes environment of the school. With the hierarchy fractured and new students entering the scene, a new mystery emerges. The plot is filled with unexpected twists, keeping the audience engaged and guessing about who the true "black dog" is and what the ultimate motive is.

Complex Character Arcs: The rivalry between Kim Hye-in and Baek Je-na continues to be the heart of the show. However, this season complicates their dynamic even further. Hye-in's new position within the "Diamond 6" and Je-na's struggle to maintain her power in a crumbling system provide rich material for their character growth. The show avoids simple good-vs-evil tropes, instead presenting morally gray characters whose actions are driven by a mix of ambition, fear, and a desperate desire for survival.

Expanded World and New Faces:
Season 2 successfully expands the world of Cheongdam International High School by introducing intriguing new characters. These additions don't feel like filler; they actively shake up the social balance and add new conflicts. The introduction of new transfer students and other players in the game of power adds fresh intrigue and keeps the story from feeling repetitive.

Visually Stunning Production:
The series maintains its high production value, with a sleek and visually appealing aesthetic that highlights the opulence and tension of the school. The fashion, sets, and overall cinematography continue to be a treat for the eyes, perfectly complementing the dramatic storyline.

Reasons to Watch It:
For Fans of the First Season: If you enjoyed the psychological warfare and class critique of the first season, you will not be disappointed. Season 2 delivers more of what made the original great, but with an even more intense and mature feel

If You Like Intense Teen Thrillers: This is a show for those who appreciate dramas that go beyond typical high school tropes. It's a dark and thrilling tale of manipulation, revenge, and the lengths people will go to for status and power.

To See a Story of Shifting Power: The central theme of a crumbling elite and the rise of new players is incredibly engaging. It's fascinating to watch how the characters react to the changing dynamics and what new alliances and rivalries form as a result.

For the Strong Performances: The returning cast, especially the leads, continue to deliver powerful performances. Their portrayal of complex and flawed characters is what makes the emotional and dramatic moments so impactful.
"Bitch X Rich" Season 2 is a strong follow-up that successfully builds on the strengths of its predecessor while introducing new elements that make it feel fresh and exciting. It's a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a sharp social commentary.

Plus, the actor Kim Min-kyu is really hot, and his dynamic with beak je na (ye ri) is another level.

there is good ending but beak je na and cha jin Uk dont end up toghther...

I like it

The second season of "Bitch X Rich" is even more intense and thrilling than the first. The new mystery and heightened stakes at Cheongdam International High School make for a gripping watch. The show masterfully explores the crumbling social hierarchy as new power players emerge, keeping viewers guessing at every turn. It’s a stylish and dark teen drama that perfectly captures the psychological warfare among the wealthy elite. This season is a definite step up, delivering a satisfying and addictive conclusion.

The chemistry of baek jenna and cha jin wook

So, as the drama ends...
I would like to state that if there's a 3 season of it,I will watch it only for the IT couple baek jenna and cha jin wook if they continued their story as a couple in 3rd season, because that's the only thing I loved it...they had all things which required to be a perfect couple like the emotional understanding of them, their trust on each other, their holds onto each other and the most important their faith into each other to be the best version of themselves and that was the most amazing thing to watch.
If they didn't continued them in season 3,still I hope to see them together as a couple in a another series if a good director catches their eye for his/her show,or for the best chemistry ❤️till now,I'll miss jenna's and jin wook bonding and love ✨🎀

idk what i just watched

First season was almost fun. Very dramatic, good plot etc but not smth I was crazy for. It was good. Second season, felt like the plot was all over the place. New faces, new problems -which is expected, but everything happened in a short period of time and was chaotic. Ending- I still dk what I just watched.

Not one boring day in that High school

Not one day goes by where everything smooth and sound and bubbles and daisies. You genuinely would never get bored in such a school.

1) kept watching for hye in and jen na progress in friendship
2) for yeri my queen
3) the dude who acted cha jinwook has an uncanny resemblance to cha eunwoo!
4) hye in looked different in S2
5) park woojin shouldve faced something as well fuck his ass.
6) that gf of woojin if she knew her bf was cheating why is she stilling clinging to him and getting jealous when he hangs out with other girls?
7) hae in dying was so uncalled for i wish she got her revenge see it while was alive she deserves better
8) the Change in budget and director was clear as day in S2 and did yall notice the weird ass cringe effects they would do when hae in had a breakdown that scene with woojin made me pause and sigh.

Better than s1

Contrary to common belief i liked this season way more than s1. On the 1st season I'd understood from the get go that Sieun was the villain of the story, but I was pleasantly surprised to not be able to find out who the killer was from the start. My problem? the killer himself. I was expecting a serious web of background events leading to a killer no one expected. For me, it's ironic for yulhee to be the killer in s1 and also her BOYFRIEND to be the killer in s2. like what's up with this couple? I felt the backstory of the murder was really rushed, even more cause the culprit was not really punished at the end.

HUGE doeon and somang drought since the second one wasnt even in the show and to be honest I found it weird that his brother went to that school JUST to take care of somang's crush and he also ended up falling for her as well? I found it uncomfortable since they're brothers. what was going on with Doeon and being pathetic in this season? also how could Kim hein survive such a big fall😭

On a positive note I loved Hyein and Jena's bond. felt nice to watch them work together. and I also liked cha jinwook. I wish they gave his character more depth so we could understand why he was the black dog? what connected him with the other students and he exposed them? Personally, I am the kind of viewer that likes the story being exactly explained to me on the screen so I dont have to imagine anything. these little points aside, I found it to be way more interesting than s1.

BORINGGGG

This is a cumulative review for Season 1 and 2

B*tch x Rich is really basic.

The commentary that you get from shows like this are also basic.

Its really heavy handed with it themes, and it makes you realize how unrealistic most of the characters are. By the end we have teens making money moves and ANOTHER CLIFF HANGER ENDING, continuing the tradition from Season 1.

The acting was basic, the music was basic, and so was everything else. I never felt strong emotions while watching, maybe exasperation.

If you're looking for shallow commentary on capitalism, consumerism, class stratification and the evil of most K-drama schools, with a dash of half-baked murder mystery then THIS IS THE OPTION FOR YOU!

okay now we're talking

This season was so much better than the first one! The story was built better and the characters actually had more depth than in the first season. I'd say that one thing I usually love about revenge-ish dramas is that the main character has someone on their side, even if the whole world is against them. I really liked the Lee Sa-Rang dude, he was so sweet and kind all of the time.

This AGAIN ends at a cliffhanger

I think it's going to take another 2 years for next season. Anyways, overall series was great and I guess, better than the last one. In this season, there were more vile plots, nasty maniac characters and intelligent aces. In this ss, things felt really rushed.

Though plot mainly revolved to Jenna's side of story, growing friendship of two female lead motivated me to go on.
For Hye-in, I'd say same as Jenna, her survival skills are top notch. No matter where she was stuck in, she always got through. Meanwhile, Jenna IS the real mastermind of all this. Every single plot, scandel, character and even her own fake scandel turns out to be beneficiary for her.

Thanks to the scriptwriter for providing a little romance plot for both the female leads. JJ couple gave starer performance and was obviously the ace in all of this, but sorry, I'm more on HyeinxSarang cp, specially his cute 'doona, doona' with those glimmery eyes 🤏🏻😚

Acting of side characters, especially the actresses playing Yulhee and Haein deserves a praise. They literally brought out the lunatic nature of characters to life. I was displeased because Somang's absense but Sarang filled for it (even if he got less screen time than he deserves). I felt bad for Doeun, he deserved better.

I'm not forgetting about the last episode. It was oddly and PERFECTLY SATISFYING. Four of them working together and exposing everyone's crime one after the another, Hyein stting the trap gave me the peace and payed for the whatever disappointment I had. Not to mention, Jenna indirectly showing middle finger to her father, declaring her position at the company was a chef's kiss 🤌🏻😌

There are some spectaculations I made which might happen in S3
- That mistress plotting something
- Yulhee's mom going after Hyein (her smirk was definitely saying that)
- Doeun getting Haein's revenge from Jinwook
- Jenna using Hyein as a bait (Again)

(I just finished this series, so I could ramble it for an entire day but still tried to keep short)

Good Enough

Korean Drama 'Bitch x Rich Season 2' takes things right off where the first season left things.

The story is enjoyable, not as good as the one in the first season, but enjoyable enough. The conclusion was also satisfying and well handled. There were, however, episodes that were boring. Also, everything happened too fast, hence, the twists weren't impactful.

The performances, on the other hand, were all enjoyable by every actor and actress in the cast.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

Better than 1st Season imo

I LOVED it. The plot was amazing and I don’t know why there’s so much people which don’t like it. The acting is also perfect the resemble their characters so good. I like about this drama that the second season isn’t completely different from the first season. The same characters and only one new added which I loved. It had me so interested in watching that I finished it really quickly. I’m so excited for season 3 and I hope it comes quickly cuz if you saw the end it’s leaving us on a cliffhanger but that’s okay cuz atleast we know by it that there will be continuation. PEAK
