Achjaj, the push-pull but in the wrong direction.
If anyone else (after thorough movie/series experiences with other projects) feels something is off here… yes, there is, you’re right.

How to put this to not trigger… ok, the hell with it. After watching this, you have to have the feeling Krist is waaaaay better an actor than Singto. Thanks to the past controversy, despite that? Well, maybe he just is. You have to have the feeling that the only times when Singto is properly acting is when he is without Krist. And you would be absolutely correct in that.
Right?
So Singto is a bad actor, right?
Well… not really?

I have seen both Singto and Krist in several roles. I was not present when Singto left the company, I don't know why that happened, I’ve heard that he is back, that Krist made him come back. I am not sure if it’s for ever or just for this project.
I have loved Singto in Paint with Love. I personally think that type of character suits him well. I have seen him in series where the character is way more detached than a romance character could be, and I would say that suits him very well too.
I have seen Krist in multiple things, acting well all the time.
It's a real pity we cannot combine the character from Paint with Love with the character Krist is portraying in The Ex-Morning.

The push-pull but in the wrong direction: What I feel the problem here is, the writer couldn’t decide who is gonna be the dominant character, making both of them both, and then… got entangled and strangled with this dynamic. Making it indeed very difficult for them — and us — to land smoothly.
I am temporarily giving up on hope that this issue will solve itself, and I see in Krist+Singto great potential acting side by side — as friends. This story is interesting, unfortunately the romance here isn’t, or not so much, or not acted properly (probably the last). In this respect, their Sotus project remains way better in the romance department than this series (maybe the leading = directing is to be blamed here).
I still like it, I will still finish, and after that I will hope for reconnection of these two in something that will suit them, their acting abilities, and that their characters will be written well… romantically better.

A solid start - the Krist-Singto magic is back, or so I thought...sigh...Nah!

Ok, I took a very long time to admit that I just could not finish watching this one.....it lost steam super quick and no matter how much I promised myself to get back to it for the love of Singto.....I just couldn't continue to watch this...😥.....and here I am, after many months of denial, finally accepting that this was just bad and a disappointment....I'm leaving my original review after Ep 1 intact below just so you know I was excited and convinced, like so many others that this will deliver..but..sigh!!

Original Review after Ep 1:
Yaay!!! Finally Krist-Singto are back ...and they are back with what seems like a good script, enough potential for mushy moments and a slice of real-life ...The chemistry is still bang on and delicious.....this definitely promises to be an action-packed and entertaining show

Just a quick observation - Is it just me, or did they seem a tad awkward for that first peck on the cheeks?? Also, it was nice to see that gentle kiss, almost felt like we are back to the SOTUS days..:D

BL-needle score: 7. Reasonable Bl-ness so far

I don't think a lot needs to be said about the anticipation this show created, since most of us would anyway turn up to just gawk at the legendary pair.....beyond the chemistry of Krist-Singto, the show promises to be well-scripted and a mostly light-hearted story so far. Even though a weather forecast anchor with his own screaming fan club is a tad umm....extreme, I admit...but with looks like Krist's, well, it's at least not unimaginable....:P

I'm also betting that the show will likely have a slice of reality (read muck) from the entertainment-news media sector...the mad competition, the star tantrums, the realities of people behind the camera, etc. I'm glad that Krist took on a character which has more than its fair share of shadow elements...also, I'm sure as the show reveals more we will learn why Padtaphi turned out to be the way he is and what really transpired between him and Tamtawan....


For now, I will be glued on. :D

The Ex-Morning – A Love Story That Stays With You

🌅💍As a longtime BL fan (and a sapphic girl myself), watching The Ex-Morning felt like coming home to something warm, natural, and real. I’ve been following Krist and Singto since Sotus The Series back in 2017,(love Sotus representations )and seeing them together again made my heart so full. Their chemistry is timeless, but what stood out to me the most here is how natural everything felt. No unnecessary drama, no negativity – just two green forests standing strong, showing how stability, communication, and respect make a relationship flourish. 🌿💚

One thing I deeply appreciated was the communication between every character. It reminded me how important it is in real life too. And both moms? Wow. They earned my respect with their wisdom and kindness. The family dynamics in this show are truly gems – gentle, supportive, and so beautiful to watch. I personally love family fit 🎀💘

This series is simple, but it shines because of its freshness. I even picked up some new ideas about the reporting industry from it, which I didn’t expect. Every supporting character did such a good job, adding depth and charm to the story.

And honestly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for including silly little GL touches and sapphic representation. 🌸 I know not everyone appreciates it, but for girls like me, it matters so much. Seeing Gia realize her feelings for her ex’s sister? That hit deep, because yes – things like that can happen in real life, and respecting people’s identities is so important.

The last episode was pure magic for me. The whole wedding scene was dreamy and unforgettable – love won, and it also showed the success and beauty of Thailand’s marriage equality. My favorite moment? The bow they shared at the wedding. That simple gesture made me cry harder than anything else. We Asians bow to show the big respect and In my country traditions, only the bride bows to the husband – and as a sapphic, that always made me uncomfortable. But here, they bowed to each other. Equal. Respectful. Two people choosing to share their lives as partners, not as roles forced by society. It made me dream of the day I will bow to my wife, not out of duty, but out of love and respect. 🥹💖

This series is not just about love; it’s about growth, kindness, and finding the right people to journey with. From start to finish, The Ex-Morning gave me peace, happiness, and hope. To me, it’s truly the best GMM series of 2025. ✨

News reporting is a new & interesting approach

First of all I'm glad to see SingtoKrist together again, it's like a dream come true, after Sotus, i was dying to watch them together again.
I must say this one looks rather interesting, news reporters - news channels is a total new approach in thai BL's, looking forward to see what they'll do...
Cast looks promising, especially leads, they've always been great actors & has natural chemistry, they showed this chemistry without even skinship in their previous work and now surprisingly we get to see more of them...
Their roles looks interesting and well suited to them,
Plot itself is kinda unique and looks fun, looking forward to this journey of Pat & Tam.
Even though I have known the actors all along, they still seemed new and different in this series
This deserves more rating (atleast 8 or above) because the epi was well made with a good start, hopefully it receives more attention and appreciation

Não é perfeita, mas eu me derreti com a quimica dos SingtoKrist

Não dá pra resumir essa série em um simples “gostei” ou “não gostei”. Ela me fez passar por um monte de sensações diferentes, teve irritação, empatia, curiosidade e até momentos em que eu me peguei sorrindo sem perceber. Foi uma mistura estranha, sabe? É o tipo de história que te irrita e te conquista quase ao mesmo tempo, e quando você percebe, já tá emocionalmente envolvido, torcendo, revirando os olhos e suspirando, tudo de uma vez.

Phi é aquele tipo de personagem que te dá vontade de sacudir e, logo depois, de abraçar. Ele começa lá em cima, cheio de fama, confiança e um ego que ocupa metade da tela, e depois desaba de um jeito que dá até vergonha alheia. Foi frustrante de ver, mas ao mesmo tempo impossível não sentir um pouco de pena. A série mostra bem o peso da queda, aquela mistura de culpa e desespero que vem quando tudo desmorona. Aí entra o Tam, o ex que volta pra ajudar o Phi a tentar reconstruir a própria imagem. E é nesse reencontro que as coisas realmente pegam fogo, porque ver dois ex tentando se manter profissionais enquanto ainda carregam um passado mal resolvido é uma delícia de acompanhar.

Mas confesso que o Phi me tirou do sério várias vezes. Ele é teimoso, orgulhoso e faz questão de se complicar mais do que precisa. O roteiro, às vezes, também se perde um pouco. Tem episódios que dão a sensação de que estão só empurrando a história até o final, sem mergulhar de verdade nas emoções. O Tam, que poderia ser um ponto mais forte, acaba ficando meio apagado em certos momentos, o que é uma pena, porque a calma e a sinceridade dele equilibram bem o temperamento explosivo do Phi.

E o Aou… sério, eu preciso falar dele. Mesmo sendo o “vilão” da história, é simplesmente impossível odiar esse homem. Ele tem um carisma tão natural que desarma qualquer tentativa de raiva. Toda vez que ele aparecia em cena, eu já sabia que ia acabar gostando, mesmo quando ele fazia algo que eu devia detestar. Ele tem aquele tipo de presença magnética. O tipo que faz você pensar “tá, ele tá errado, mas eu entendo”. No fim das contas, ele rouba a cena de um jeito que é difícil não se render completamente.

O final deixou aquele gostinho estranho, sabe? Não foi nada grandioso, mas fez sentido dentro do que a história vinha construindo. Deu pra sentir que houve crescimento, que os personagens realmente aprenderam alguma coisa no processo. Ainda assim, fiquei com a sensação de que dava pra ir mais fundo, queria ver mais vulnerabilidade de verdade, menos orgulho tentando esconder o que tava óbvio. Faltou um pouquinho de coragem ali pra entregar tudo o que a história prometia.

Ah, e sério, preciso falar da atuação do Krist e do Singto, porque é simplesmente deliciosa. É tão natural que você sente cada emoção deles sem esforço nenhum. Até uma risadinha do Krist ou um olhar do Singto já me fazem derreter na hora. Eles não estão apenas interpretando, parece que vivem cada cena de verdade, é o tipo de química que segura tudo, mesmo quando a história vacila um pouco.

No fim, eu fiquei feliz por ter assistido esse BL. Krist e Singto continuam com uma química que parece natural demais pra ser atuação. É o tipo de série que te faz pensar sobre orgulho, fama e como é difícil se reconstruir quando o mundo inteiro tá te olhando. Não é impecável, mas é gostosa de assistir.

Diez caps no son suficientes!

No pensé que está historia me fuera a gusta, conocía al KristSingto de oído por SOTUS. Realmente los amó, conocerlos con esta serie y ver su gran avance como actores y pareja es una cosa deliciosa!

Cada parte de esta historia tan sana, con cambios en la trama tan buenas que realmente me sorprendieron y ese giro del plot no me lo ví venir, el avance y aunque no soy fans de los second chance está fue muy bien llevada e incluso tratada en todo tan bien, el motivo de su separación y su regreso.

Conecte más con Tam, con respecto que realmente todos parecían obligarlo a volver a salvarle las papas a Phi, aunque es ahí donde el quiere estar ☝🏻😌 sin dudas mi favorita.

Tierna, pero KristSingto merecían más

Es en general una serie para sentirse bien, es tierna, tiene momentos cómicos y tristes, angustia, etc.
Aprecio mucho que los personajes estén en sus treinta y sean exes, de todas formas le agrega una profundidad a la historia que otras no pueden darle (primeros amores o personajes más jóvenes).
El arc de Sosay en el veterinario fue casi triggereante para mí, es tan real enfrentarse a esos escenarios con las mascotitas, que la sufrí.
AHORA BIEN, tal como ya puse, creo que KristSingto merecían una historia más profunda y más desarrollo de personajes. Estos actores son un ícono indiscutible, y tenerlos de vuelta en un proyecto, juntos, como pareja, era una oportunidad tremenda que creo que no lograron aprovechar.
