The WONDERfools

원더풀스 ‧ Drama ‧ 2026
I'm recommending Moving even though it's quite different from The WONDERfools. The WONDERfools is more fun, adventurous, and comedic, while Moving is darker and more emotional. However, both dramas do a great job of making you care about their characters and keeping you invested in their journey. If you enjoyed the supernatural elements in The WONDERfools and want something with higher stakes and stronger emotional depth, Moving is definitely worth watching.

These series offer a blend of action, fantasy, and character-driven stories that fans of "Cashero" might enjoy.

Fantasy and action with Cha Eunwoo starring in both dramas. Eunwoo does some of his best work in the action genre and he is quite versatile too.

The Wonderfools feels similar to The Uncanny Counter because both dramas feature superpowered teams fighting evil with a mix of action, comedy, and fantasy vibes.

Ragtag found family of mostly misfits team up to save their small town from chaotic elements. The WONDERfools is fantasy so the characters have abilities while Heroes Next Door has regular people using the little army experience they have to figure out why accidents keep happening in their town. The comedy is on point in both, but also with a lot of heart.

Both works deal with humans who suddenly get superpowers and become this team of misfits who try to use their powers as heroes. Both are in the comedy genre, with a lot of fun, quirky moments.

Both are Korean dramas that feature characters with superpowers that have downsides.

Both TW and SGBS feature plots heavily surrounding super hero abilities and have genres that include fantasy, action, comedy and romance. SGBS is more of a romantic comedy first however whereas TW has some romance sprinkled in but the main elements of the show are the group relationships, comedy and action,

Although the settings are different, both dramas have a fun squad. Supposedly lead by an intelligent leader, the members are a bit fools, but they are fun, kind and passionate to save people !

The group dynamics and the comedy aspect with the romance subplot and the addition of the supernatural stuff is very similar imo. The only difference is the seven relics is a bit on the creepier side and if you get scared easily then it MIGHT not be for you.

Same sense of adventure and action, mixed with comedy. Stories are completely different but both aiming for the same audience.

Both dramas revolve around innocent children who were locked away and subjected to horrific, secret institutional experiments.

Years later, the traumatised survivors must navigate the fallout of that childhood abuse while dealing with a massive cover-up.

Both have individuals with superpowers who are on the run from an experimentation facility.
Very similar escape scenes and some superpowers are in common too - mind control and combat abilities.
