OMG! It's Bad
It was somewhat bearable at first, until episode 7 where things turned for the worst. I didn't have high expectations for this show, considering the ratings, the comments, and the actors past show histories but still gave it a try. Not worth the watch, it's very messy, and I was confused a lot, the plot wasn't super interesting, it was funny sometimes but some jokes weren't delivered, there's also a lot of SA and weird shit that shouldn't be acceptable or ok in shows to be shown just like that. And yeah overall not enjoyable. I also had to skip through the last episode which is very rare for me to do, because it was so boring. PS: I would've loved for Mick to be more than a comedic character, which is something I didn't like either, I see a pattern in chubby characters being used as creeps, stalkers, funny characters but never the main or anything of the sort but that's another story for another day. Anyway, I lowkey shipped him with Mai at the end ngl.Was this review helpful to you?
Horribly not funny
The only good thing about this series was Lee Long's comedic timing, he's got a knack for that for sure... that was also the only thing that made me laugh tho... All in all this series is trying way too hard to be funny - but it's not.I kept fast forwarding just to have it behind me (and to watch a bit more Lee Long). I really need him in some quality series, it's starting to feel like a curse or something, considering that this was a fast-forward watch, and that I couldn't even do that with that other "funny" drama, where Frank is a new butler? I can't even remember the name of that...
I am all up for comedy, but this was not it...

Riding the hype but missing the mark
As soon as the first few vampire BL's were announced, we knew this would be a new hype. And what do companies do with hypes? If they don't create them, they ride them! But what kind of a ride will it be....In this case a bumpy one. LomgLee and Frank have never had too many compliments about their acting skills or even their chemistry. But in this one it's far below par. They seem to just go through the motions, even in de comedy bits, where they are usually ok, here they completely miss the mark. This is not helped by the overly present comical sound- and visual effects.
The other actors are not improving the overall quality. They are either overacting or seem very lost. I part, the material is to blame. It's a cheap, "laugh or i{ll shoot" kind of comedy. If you are a fan of these, you might get something out of it. I would love to be able to say that it had potential. but I fail to see where the potential is. The story is paperthing, the comedy is hardly comical, the acting is bad.
There are plenty of kisses and NC-scenes, but these feel cold, all have the same choreography and lack in chemistry. Even the rape scene (because that's what that is!) doesn't make me feel anything but disappointment.
A plus? The music. The OST is great.

Super funny and simply cute
I don’t usually review too many shows, but this one absolutely deserves more love! I laughed out loud so many times—the humor and satire were spot on, especially the way it poked fun at Twilight, some parts sent me even the nameof the town was hilarity. The comedic undertones really carried the show, and I think some people might have missed that, which isa shame ໒꒰ྀིっ˕ -。꒱ྀི১
Overall, this show was funny, endearing, and a cute and fun watch. Don't expect mind blowing plot twists or anything, it is meant to be a humorous and a quick romantic series... Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for something light, sarcastic and funny! (。♥‿♥。)

WHY DO THEY HATE LONGLEEFRANK????
Alright, bestie, let’s talk about Long Lee x Frank and their latest flop.sigh First of all, let me just say this: I wanted this to work. I really did. But why, oh why, do they keep giving these two dumpster fire plots? First Love Syndrome (Frank’s cursed wig still haunts me), and now this? Directors, come to the front of the class—I need answers, and I need them now. Anyway, let’s break this down.
——————
CHARACTERS: CUTE, BUT MAKE IT CRINGE
Let’s start with Frank as Phum (or should I say, “male bimbo extraordinaire”). He’s giving us that rebellious “IDGAF, let me love who I wanna love” energy, and honestly? We stan. Frank plays it well—like, he doesn’t look too awkward pretending to be adorable, but some moments had me full-on secondhand embarrassed. “Sir, how old are you? This ‘uwu’ act expired two birthdays ago.”
And then there’s Patrick, played by Long Lee, aka the hottest bartender in BL history. The man is out here flipping bottles and serving smoldering stares like it’s happy hour. Plus, he’s immune to Phum’s vampire powers because, duh, he’s got a dark past to reveal. MUAHAHA. (Side note: when Long Lee’s on screen, I forget about plot holes, dialogue, everything. He’s THAT hot.)
The side characters? Meh, except Mix, who’s out here carrying the entire series on his back. He’s hilarious, and honestly, without him, this show would be dryer than my inbox after a bad meme.
——————
THE PLOT: WHAT EVEN IS THIS?
Okay, buckle up, because this story is… A LOT. So, vampires have rules (obviously), and the current generation can’t fall in love because… reasons? Phum, being the rebel icon he is, says, “Screw this!” and escapes to the human world using a ritual book so he can love freely. Girl. What?
The plot could’ve slayed. Imagine Patrick as a vampire hunter trying to sniff out Phum, who’s all, “Oops, I dropped my bloodlust,” while secretly hiding his identity. But noooo, instead, we get Phum vs. the Vampire Government fighting for the right to love. This is giving Twilight fanfic written at 3 a.m. in 2011, and I’m not mad—just disappointed.
——————
ACTION SCENES: WHERE’S THE PUNCH?
Look, we all know Long Lee’s a Muay Thai king, so when the final showdown popped off, I was ready for art. Instead, we got basic punches and kicks. The whole thing felt like a group project where only one person did the work. I mean, even Love Syndrome (yes, THAT mess) had a snooker fight scene that slayed harder than this. Honestly, they could’ve just let Long Lee choreograph the entire thing himself.
——————
CHEMISTRY: I’VE SEEN MORE SPARKS IN A MICROWAVE
Let’s be real: Frank and Long Lee are gorgeous humans, but their chemistry? Missing. From episode one, it felt like two coworkers forced to attend a trust fall exercise. (Spoiler: they dropped each other.) Thank the BL gods they’re getting new pairings—Long Lee with Boom, and Frank likely back with Drake. Maybe those ships will finally serve the Starbucks-level chemistry we deserve.
——————
OST AND FINAL VIBES
The OST? A slow love song for a vampire story? No. Miss ma’am, we needed something edgy and iconic, not a sad ballad that belongs on a “Songs To Cry To” playlist.
——————
FINAL RATING: A COMEDIC FLOP WITH HOT PEOPLE
In conclusion, Long Lee x Frank deserved better, but this was still… watchable? Barely? The comedy saved it, and Long Lee’s hotness carried me through, but the plot and chemistry were DOA. BL directors, please go read Wattpad for better ideas.
Final score: 7/10. Would I rewatch? Only if someone paid me in Starbucks and therapy.

A fun little series
If you’re looking for serious vampire shows, then this is not it because it’s just a funny and fun series to watch. It definitely made me laugh a lot and some cringe moment that made me want to skip them, but that’s just me with some of the comedic parts in stories that might be funny to other but second hand embarrassment makes me cringe. All in all it was a fun watch and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to just relax and have a little laugh! Was this review helpful to you?
Stupid Fun
light hearted, silly, and doesn’t take itself alll that seriously. it’s kinda refreshing honestly and I highly recommend it if your looking for something goofy and fun. not your typical vampire story, so if you want something that follows serious vampire lore it may not be for you.plot has some holes, but honestly I really enjoyed the fun vibe and chemistry between all the characters. you can tell the actors enjoyed themselves filming this.

An Unecessary Watch
However, it does not mean it wasn’t entertainingBad:
The storyline and use of the vampire concept was done very poorly. I felt like they wrote off every thing vampire and made nonsense political issues that was not interesting enough to follow.
Character’s origin are weird and unexplained
Couple development is poorly done and paced weirdly
Bed scenes. I’d rather have had one if they were just gonna do the same exact things. And the main couple’s bed scenes were all problematic smh. Especially the 7th episode’s
Good:
Characters. The characters were very funny and entertaining.
Final fight scenes. These were actually good which Thai bls be struggling with. However, I don’t know why they wouldn’t give glimpse of this in the other episodes. And they made all the vampires seem like they can’t fight.
Character dynamics. I loved all the pairings and the chemistry were strong. I especially loved Zen and Ran. And the friend group was fun.
TBH the actors made the show. Too bad they were given a 💩plot line. Unecessary watch that I wouldn’t recommend but if you do you MIGHT enjoy your time

they were just having fun
I am confident that Long and Frank knew that this would be their last show together, and they said f**k it, let's camp it up and have fun with this sill vampire show...this is not a serious show, and it doesn't take itself seriously either. I mean, tonally, the show is set up by the fact that in the first scene we're introduced to the vampire world of Thaiwilight. is the story convoluted and full of plot holes, yes. is there some real dodgy behaviour between the 2 MCs, yes. Is their relationship believable? not really...but do I care...also, not really.Ok, this show is not for everyone, but, that's OK, it doesn't need to be! the worst thing about the show is the stupid long intro and WeTv's poor job with subtitles

Spreading yourself too thin
I came to watch this cause God knows I can't watch Crazy Rich Handsome and I want to watch LongFrank for the last time. While this is not horrendously bad, this is not something I would rewatch. There are a lot of things unexplained about the vampires and their world. This makes things confusing. That fact coupled with unfunny jokes, too many characters and subplots, ineffective dialogues just make everything worse. This series is stretching itself thin (plot wise) because of being too ambitious even though it's just a mini series. I feel like they're just trying to use as many actors as possible that's why the plot becomes what it is. Relationships feel superficial, lacking bond and depth. The humour for me is not that bad but it's dragging sometimes. The ad at the end of every episode is also cutting the duration of the drama. I'd rather they focus on each couple and their dynamics. If you want certain people to be in relationship, elaborate more on their story. The captain & lieutenant and ZenRan definitely deserve that.

OMG please stop making vampire stories
If you are going to do a story centered around vampires, please take the time to build up the world. Logically would be nice. The Lore is better than in My Golden Blood, which basically had no lore, but it's all over the place and felt like it was more to make sure everyone got their happy ending than to make actual sense.
First off, the vampire city was called Thaiwilight City, so already we were off to a great start (not). And for some reason in this city, they have a population problem, so no romance! Especially not the gay kind, because for some reason, the older vampires are homophobic even though that would help them with their problem. Couldn't they have come up with a form of birth control?
The vampires are literally humans that grow fangs to drink blood, and have a special city to themselves. You can kill them by breaking their neck. I'm still not convinced they actually live longer. Explain the passing of time, please, because if it does move more slowly, you did a piss poor job of showing it. In the vampire city, 100 years is 3 years in the human world, but when we are going back and forth between the worlds, it's like the passage of time is the same.
A human can become a vampire by either falling in love with a vampire and the vampire bites them, which will then turn that vampire into a human, or by a human who is dying being bitten by a vampire that loves them. A vampire can also become human by biting another vampire they are in love with on the full moon (does it have to be red?). So, for some reason, love is always involved, and it would have been interesting if this had been the reason for the "no love" rule instead of population control.
Why does Phum have a human counterpart? He is from the human world. He was once human before he was tricked into being a vampire, so he should be his own counterpart. I'm still confused on this point. The whole part about that counterpart having to be dead for them to go into their bodies is also very confusing. I mean, it takes the guilt away from them taking over their bodies, but why does it then make their bodies "vampire bodies"? It's an instantaneous process as well, which makes no sense if their bodies are changing at all. If they are "replacing" their human counterparts, you would think they would just be able to enter the human world once the counterpart died without taking over their actual bodies. I'm assuming it was done the way it was so that they all had a human life already set up for them, but it frustrated me throughout the whole show because they never explained how it works!
What was the recipe for the red wine? Nothing in your world makes sense, so don't tease me like this!
As far as comedies go, I did laugh a few times somewhere in the middle of the series, and I honestly don't think this series could have been good if it weren't a comedy. I feel weird saying that about a vampire show.
Frank and Lee have good chemistry. All the actors did a great job; I honestly don't know how some of them kept a straight face while saying some of their lines. I also have a new appreciation for Mod; his acting really stood out to me in this series.

don’t take it to serious
Honestly, if you take it at face value, it’s a silly show about vampires. Don’t try and make it more serious than it is. I don’t think they were going for serious. The plot could have been a really good serious vampire show, but between the editing and the sound effects and hell even the name of the vampire city you can tell it’s meant to be silly. I don’t see why people hate on it unless they were expecting something way more serious than it is. It’s a fun little I’m looking for something not serious but has a little bit of spice. Was this review helpful to you?
