the moment johan & north came up, i knew it was over for me
as much as i wanted to enjoy hill and ter’s story, it just didnt do much for me 🥲 idk if it was bcs of the overly cringey sweet moments? not that it was bad, but it was too much for me😭 johan and north totally saved this series for me! i sacrificed an entire night of sleep just to be able to finish this ! i lovedddd jo and north’s story! i actually skipped scenes that didnt involve them lol. overall , i would recommend this only for jo and north lol idk if it was bcs of jo and north’s dynamic that made me love them so much 🥹 maxky is so good looking and he compliments bas’ soft and baby like featuresWas this review helpful to you?

I didn't expect this to be so good!
A lot of times when there are multiple main couples, I get really confused on who is who. Especially if they also add other SIDE couples. But this one was genuinely good and I never wondered who who was. I was afraid I was gonna be confused, especially since watching Gen Y.This story was sooo sweet, I love the characters although in the beginning I was lowkey irritated at Ter but I'm gonna be honest, I slowly started liking him more while watching him. The shipping for some of the side characters was bad tho and I'm sad we haven't really gotten an actual confessing scene in this season but I heard (I'm not sure if they still plan to) that they wanted to make a second season so I'm gonna have hope for them.
Another thing I didn't really like is whyyyyyy did the characters have no relationship yet and acted like it the whole time and then act stupid or scared when having to confess, like brooo don't worry he liked you to alright?
Anyways aside from that, this story was honestly super adorable but the story just fails :P

A BL That Feels Like a Warm Hug
Fourever you is honestly one of those BLs that just wraps you up in a warm blanket and lets you breathe. 💗 It’s so sweet and calming in the best way possible. Nothing feels heavy or stressful—you don’t have to overthink anything, you just sit back and let the soft, gentle vibes wash over you. I really love this kind of BL, where the story flows naturally and gives you that light, comforting feeling. Every moment feels cozy, like watching something familiar and safe. The romance is cute and tender, and it makes your heart feel full without trying too hard. One of my favorite things is the group of friends. Seeing them together adds so much warmth to the series. Their bond, the little interactions, the laughter—it makes everything feel more real and wholesome. It’s not just about romance, but also about friendship and being surrounded by people who care about you. Is the kind of series you watch when you want to relax, smile softly, and feel at peace. It’s gentle, lovely, and definitely a comfort BL that stays with you long after the episode ends. 🌸✨Was this review helpful to you?

I actually enjoyed both of the couples
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
I have seen many comments stating that they prefer Jo and North's story and that some even skipped the parts of Ter and Hill. For me, actually, I liked both couples. They both presented to me the beautiful beginning of a romantic relationship. Yes, Ter and Hill started off cute with some rough patches along the way, but it was sweet to see them get back together being boyfriends. And Jo and North's storyline was cute as well, with the rebellious North and Jo, who wanted them to be together after having such a long crush on him. What was also cute was seeing the relationship between Ter and North, as they supported each other when they were at the beginning stages with Hill and Jo.
While they had their strengths, both couples also had their weaknesses. I did find it a tad bit annoying with how many hours of work Jo put in with his work (but he seems to come around in the special episodes to know how North feels about them). For Ter and Hill, it was Ter's dad and Hill's grandfather. They were against their relationship in the beginning, but magically, after years have passed, they are okay now. I understand with the grandfather, as his wife had just slipped into a coma, so I guess he was being mean to him. But Ter's dad... I just felt that a better apology should have been offered to Ter, as the boy basically left home in his final year of high school to live with his aunt before he graduated due to his dad's attitude towards him/them, as he did not want to hear what Ter had to say.
What did annoy me a bit is that I have been left wanting more of Fah and Phoon, who are supposed to be introduced in another season of this series. But I will not be holding my breath for long, as a second series rarely does happen in the world of Thai BLs. And when they do, it's after a very long time that people may even forget the storyline of what happened and (sometimes) become disappointed with it. I do hope that is completed, as I do want to see the story of the remaining three couples that the second season will focus on.

Phenomenal. Totally rewatchable.
Earth played “Ter” - an adolescent, but adorable character. Earth’s movements & affections totally sold the character as young. He did a superb job as to be expected. I look forward to a switch up of character types for Earth (like Ja & First in various series) because I know he’s a great actor who can do it!Pond played “Hill” - a silent but so in love character. Pond had his work cut out for him since he was often in a mask conveying emotion with just his eyes. He performed admirably.
The Ter/Hill storyline was a bit cliché with Ter’s “I hate him but actually I love him.” And it was just a communication misunderstanding. The trauma from grandpa backstory for Hill was not explained nor resolved satisfactorily for me. Hill had an unnamed “issue” that was alluded too. Personally, I think it’s akin to Stockholm Syndrome because he was fundamentally held hostage in his own home for years and was the focus of his grandfather’s rage. Also, what were these “old ways” that they kept talking about? And where were Hill’s parents? Why weren’t they protecting him from his grandfather?
Now onto my favourite characters & storyline..
Maxky played “Johan” - a chic and cold on the outside but warm and loving on the inside character. Maxky’s visuals were incredible and suited this character so well. He took direction really well and nailed this character to perfection.
Bas played “North” - a chill, no-nonsense guy. I’ve never seen Bas’s work before and I am really impressed. Though his look was of a tousle-haired youth, he brought a grown man’s vibe with his posture and walk in many of the scenes. While youthful in some scenes, the man vibe was refreshing and made their love story feel more real. The direction given to Bas made his scenes so much better. I really liked what Bas put into the North character. It was an absolute pleasure to watch.
The Johan/North love story was fabulous. Johan crushing for all those years. The lovely little things he did secretly for North all those years just to make him smile/happy. Johan taking life more seriously after hearing North’s conversation with his friend. We learned why Johan now always carries cash — after paying for that duck plushy with his very expensive watch. You could really see the love Johan had for North. Also, Johan’s kisses looked amazing. Maxky did a fantastic job. North figuring out his feelings felt real. And once he did, it was like he said “straightforward and uncomplicated” in showing/saying how he felt about Johan. North being so supportive and accepting of the ‘real’ Johan was heartwarming. Their dynamic was incredible.
I hope Maxky and Bas get to work together again. Their chemistry is fire. I also feel their bodies match really well.
The OST was unobtrusive which is great in my books.
I highly recommend watching this series.

Fourever feels good <3
At first, there were scenes that were quite confusing in a sense that you'll be puzzled or feel like the series of events doesn't flow well. [Edit] I remember now where this kind of scenes appear. In kdramas, they appear in the end where they play a preview for the upcoming episode. Like in a mystery genre (but on a lighter mood), you'll eventually figure out things. That;s probably one of the good things about this serie which made me drawn and kept on watching. The actors, their acting and the cuteness. From the main to the supporting. You will find yourself smiling. Whether the scene, acting (be it awkward, cute, shy, etc) Watching this after a little intense series is like replenishing your happy energy. Indeed a feel good series.
[Edit] Rating it a 9.5 leaving a little room for improvement (I feel like this is for myself as well having rated the music as 9 because I wasn't paying much attention to it having to watch it at night and in a low volume just enough to hear the actors' voice). All the cast and staff on and off screen are truly commendable.
Here goes a little spoiler part...
I didn't expect to laugh so hard (here comes the spoiler part, btw). The movie date scene, where North was scared. It was so funny that I decided to leave a review (time for a good review is definitely worth it).
Pond's cuteness and loving demeanor could pass as a bottom.
Earth's acting with another partner. Although his gender orientation is open, you could see how he acts with whoever his partner is. He acts with utter respect not only for them but for himself as well.
Bas' tears made me tear up a little.
Maxky's my first time seeing him. And I like him makes me feel giddy along with Pond.
Their friends ares so cute and they live up to their roles. very supportive <3
I kind of got confused with Daotok's role. But that's really there is to it. Definitely a friend from another team/group who tags along (just like in real life; a friend we invite to come along)
I highly recommend this series for those who wants to feel good. There are a list of some series I rewatch. This definitely an addition to the list.

SOOOO GOOOD TO WATCH ♥️♥️♥️
This series was really good. I like how there are different types of couples and how they have their own situation or love story. The story that I like the most would be P'Johan's and P'North. They were really cutee in this one and the story is just perfect 😍🥰♥️
The song was also cute and fluffy. Thank you for this masterpiece even though I was a bit late 😔🥰
I also liked P'Hill and P'Easter's story but I don't like how feminine Easter was 😔😢 I'm sorry Idk, I guess I like the BL series when the leads are like gay but not too gay. I remembered that one bl that I watched I forgot the title but the main lead character that was a guy was wearing a bra and he got made fun of I think.. so yeah idk 😭😭🥺🥺
Anyways, thank you so much for this series! 🥰😍♥️♥️ it's really good and worth it to watch 🥰🥰

10/10 Well, I really liked it...
If a show isn't all that interesting, I will find myself subconsciously counting the absurd amount of table lamps they've used to dress a set. Set designers just LOVE table lamps. l've seen all 16 current episodes of Fourever You and haven't counted lamps once. In fact, get so caught up with what's going on that I forget I don't speak Thai and I have to rewind to catch up on the subtitles.Sure, the show isn't without its flaws. I personally am not a fan of the 3 Stooges slapstick side friendships that seem to get shoe-horned in a lot to these types of series. Also the flow seems too drawn out and disjointed in the Ter/Hill storyline. And the subtitles look like they've been written by an Al who is both drunk, and dyslexic. Just as well I'm fluent in reading between the lines. It's such a pity I haven't been able to get my hands on an English language version of the books this is based on...yet.
loved the friendship dynamics of the four 2nd Year medical students. It actually looked like they were genuinely friends IRL as well as on-screen. I also quite enjoyed the Ter and North friendship. It looked fun. Sure, the actor who plays Easter goes way too far over the top, but you get used to it.
But I'm all in for the Johan/North relationship. Bas and Maky have brilliant chemistry, and I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline.
The casting directors sure knew what they were doing when they cast Typhoon. I do know some of what's coming in season 2 and I don't know if my poor heart can take it.
Overall, I didn't find the acting to be poor at all, with the exception of just a couple of minor actor roles. I also pay to watch the longer uncut versions, which seem to be 10 minutes longer than what you get for free on YouTube in the UK. No big deal, just swapped in Studio Wabi Sabi and cancelled Disney+...no great loss.
