Burnout Syndrome Episode 9 Reactions
what a hell of an emotional roller coaster this drama has been, i can't believe i just started it - but it's so freakin good i just couldn't stop & i am almost at the end. ***********************************************************************************************before anything i have to say, i read a lot of comments where people be saying Pheem should notice the worthy love interest under his nose - i.e. Mawin. sorry, but they the best of friends - as close as good friends can be, but they NOT attracted to each other!!! Mawin already eluded to a ex-gf & i get that in BL-land ,that's not even a hurdle - cause love doesn't see gender yada yada yada.... but there r straight people in the world (even BL land) that aren't curious about sh*t & even in the scene they acted out; Pheem was imagining Jira, while Mawin was acting his ass off in the hopes of getting the role - u know the role where he will be portraying a character that's being seduced by a MAN!!! so knowing this fact, why would he recoil from a kiss? cause it was Pheem?!?? if anything, he should be more comfortable as that's his friend, who he trusts. really don't get BL watchers that HAVE to pair up every male character just cause they in a BL... like plz *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************now that that's off my chest, have to admit Jira has become my least favorite character, what he did to Pheem was diabolical. he keeps giving him hope, only to shoot him down & he has the audacity to tell him lets remain friends?!? with friends like him who the f*ck needs enemies?!? & i wished & shouted at my screen for Pheem to throw that painting back in Jira's face. that's another way to keep his presence live in Pheem's heart & mind, that just freakin cruel - but he doesn't care how he is hurting Pheem, he just wants his support puppy around so he can kick him some more.. that's why i was happy at the end. the only pity is that Koh wasn't (yet) looking to replace Jira the bf/sleeping aid - just Jira the artist. personally it was karmic, given what he did to Pheem. *************************************************************************************************************************regarding Koh, sadly or not he has created the life he wants to live regardless of the reasons, the past or his fears. so even if now he is enjoying the novelty Jira is offering, sooner or later he will wish to go back to his solitary lifestyle cause that allows him the quite he needs to work & think. yeah it doesn't offer him any peace of mind - but i have a feeling in the next (last) ep he is gonna cut his losses & let Jira go. cause i don't really think Koh needs anyone to survive. he had no problem to cut Pheem (a childhood friend) out of his life, like it was nothing, without a backward glace. what's so special about Jira?!? in Koh's eye's humans r useful tools until they r not - to him computers r special! so to me, the next ep is a foregone conclusion. had a feeling this wont be a "happily ever after" type BL, but i am loving it all the same, the realism is beautiful in it's ugliness - as humans r perfect in their imperfections

GMMTV has truly outdone itself with the production design. The intricate details of Jira's studio and the high-stakes pressure of Koh's startup make this 10-episode journey feel like an immersive, high-budget film.

This show doesn't just tell a story; it makes you breathe the same air as the characters. It captures the "sensory realism" of loneliness and healing so well that it feels deeply personal. It’s the kind of series that settles into your heart and makes you feel less alone in your own struggles.

To work like P’Nuchy is to work with soul, but the soul has its limits. Burnout is what happens when we forget that we are the creators, not just the products. Give yourself the grace to pause before the final act of exhaustion takes over.
