Sweet
This is a sweet drama, the first episode was a bit too much cliche but overall i liked it.It is quite a simple story, don't expect much depth of this drama.
The visuals and music were good.
The acting was overall good, i only did not like the acting of the second couple. They did not have much chemistry and the pouty face Chom made all the time was anoying.
The main couple did not have a lot of chemistry, but it was enough to make me enjoy this drama. The kisses were ok.
Not one of the best drama's but still enjoyable to watch.

A sweet and pleasant series
From the first episode I really wanted to see how they series is gonna end and now I'm pretty satisfied. I loved milklove characters.It's a lighthearted series you can bingewatch with its fair amount of serious topics about what struggles queer people and couples may face, that was a really nice addition and they handled it pretty good in my opinion. I think they could make it a couple more episodes tho. The side couple was so cute! And how chomphu's mam didn't know how to acted after she learned that her daughter has a girlfriend and how she handled it, showed that every parent should understand and love their child regardless.
Anyways so excited to see milklove have another series together and I would love if we get a completely different vibe of them in a series, (that girls rules might probably bring).

Comforting, Sweet, and Lacking Major Conflict
I love MilkLove, and am happy that GMM has decided to give them more shows. I especially appreciated that their characters were actually adults this time (because as much as I loved 23.5, they have no reason to be playing high schoolers). While I enjoyed the overall premise and LOVED the relationship between the main characters, it felt like something was just missing. We had a little family conflict, a little relationship conflict, but it all felt so predictable that nothing felt too major.When Wan (Milk) leaves her corporate job and takes over her recently-deceased father's grocery store in a small town, she doesn't seem to fit in well with the locals. However, with the help of town-favorite Ph.D. student and handywoman Maewnam (Love), Wan slowly adjusts to this new life. The more Maewnam helps Wan, the closer to two become, and feelings quickly develop between them, though Wan is hesitant to enter into anything too fast.
The best part about this show was definitely the relationship between Wan and Maewnam. Milk and Love KNOW how to do a cute, sweet, loveydovey relationship and they nail it every time. However, I felt like if we either had one large conflict, or fleshed out some of the smaller ones a bit more, this would have been overall more engaging. It seemed like most issues were resolved within two episodes, and while that might be partially due to the 10 episode length (seriously GMM what's going on with that...what happened to 12?!), I still felt like at least one of these issues should have been made a bigger deal. Regardless, this is a lovely, comforting show with a sweet romance and lovable characters.

cute, chill, and wholesome
Given how disappointing I found 23.5, I was feeling cautious about this show, but then once I started it, I adored it. Maewnam and Wan are super cute and they have minimal drama/angst - Maewnam is the daughter of the family that owns the competing grocery store which Wan is fine with after 24 hours to digest that information; and then near the end they have a conflict about Wan feeling like a burden since the store is struggling so much, and they make up in the next episode. Beyond that, it's basically just cute fluff and the two of them being supportive of each other. Tonnam and Chompoo's storyline is where most of the angst and conflict resides. They've been dating for 3 years and Chompoo is scared to come out because she expects that her mom won't be accepting (spoiler alert: Chompoo is right, at least initially). Tonnam is nearing her breaking point of the two of them keeping their relationship hidden, especially after Maewnam learns of their relationship. We see Chompoo's journey from being a people pleaser to the detriment of their relationship to her standing up for Tonnam to her mother. I wish we were allowed to see more of them as a couple, but I can't be mad at a depiction of someone struggling to come out and their fears being proven right as that unfortunately is the reality for a lot of us. The rest of the drama comes from Maewnam's unsupportive and controlling mother who is displeased by Maewnam and Wan's relationship and Wan's ex, Manhmook, reentering her life.As much as I enjoyed this, I have to admit that there are some perplexing decisions in last few episodes - Maewnam's mom, after trying to break up Maewnam and Wan, has a heart to heart with Maewnam where she says she's proud of her and basically accepts their relationship. Chompoo's mom pretends Tonnam is invisible after learning of Tonnam and Chompoo dating and then when Chompoo confronts her she has this whole breakdown of "I feel like I don't know you and that hurt me," as if she's the center of her daughter coming out 🙄. And then she's still being homophobic but according to the show she is trying, so we're supposed to find it heartwarming 🙄. We also learn about Manhmook and Wan's breakup and Manhmook treated Wan terribly while they were together and then has the gall to blame Wan's friend Noey for this and somehow Manhmook and Wan are back to being friends???? Girl, why would you want to make up with the girl who stole your thesis and blamed you for that?????
But overall it's a very good time and an easy watch and MilkLove being domestic is just so cute and heartwarming <3

An Enjoyable Confusing Show
Milklove released their second series, featuring June and Mewnich as the second main couple, aiming to give the story more depth. The series had a promising start and an interesting plot, but, as usual, the writers seem to enjoy throwing ideas at us without ever developing them or giving them any real impact on the storyline. As a result, the whole thing ends up feeling confusing and sometimes frustrating.There were quite a few issues with the show :
The lack of conflicts between characters, as everything gets resolved too calmly.
The way the relationship between Champoo and Toonam was handled very poorly, even though Champoo’s emotional scene was touching.
That said, there were also positive aspects. The series nicely highlighted :
The importance of a supportive community and how it can help you overcome hardships.
The way grief was portrayed, handled with sensitivity.
And especially the relationship between Wan and Maewman, which was absolutely adorable and heartwarming to watch.
Lastly, I want to emphasize Milk’s acting performance, which genuinely surprised me in this series. I’m looking forward to seeing how she grows and what she will bring to her future projects.

i really feel bad that i finish this too late, every episode made me crying, i love how we saw Milklove in more mature show and like always the acting was amazing, i think it was well done how Wan deals with the mourning and June and Mewnich were amazing that i'm so excitement for their upcoming show.Was this review helpful to you?

I didn’t expect this to be as adorable as it was. I actually enjoyed it more than 23.5, mainly because I’m not a big fan of teenage-focused series unless they fall under thriller or mystery. This one felt lighter and more charming than I anticipated.Honestly, Som felt like the real main character—prove me wrong. She carried a lot of the emotional weight (I'm talking about the overstimulated airplane ears lmao) and was the most engaging to watch. As always, the side couple also stood out; they consistently add more depth and charm, and once again, they made the series even better for me.

Wan and Maewnam are so cute please. I want to put them in my pocket. I love them soooooo much.
I love and I hate JuneMewnich part. It was interesting and good, they suit each other so much. But what ruined it to me is the pressure Tonnam put on Chom to out herself. I understand her point of view, behind hidden for a long relationship is hard. And that's what I loved about it, I understand every point of view. The only thing that really ruined it for me is that my ex-gf use this drama and relationship to put pressure on me, to tell my familly about our relationship and guilty trip me. So it became unenjoyable to me.

It's fun, it's silly, and it's surprisingly potent with its themes.
Whale Store xoxo follows Wan as she struggles to keep her recently deceased father's store afloat. As if losing her father wasn't enough, she was also recently let go from her job at a firm. This leaves her in quite a predicament: does she try to sell the shop, right as a huge conglomerate chain opens a rival store next door, or does she keep it and fight the ever-growing capitalist system that wants her small shop closed?Helping her is Maewnam, a regular of her father's who wants to keep the business afloat but also harbors a secret regarding the competitor opening next door. Somewhere along the line, Wan and Mae develop a romance and become a couple. But secrets don't wait to be revealed, and they must find a way to juggle both their personal and professional relationships.
Wan's predicament was incredibly intriguing to me, as it forces her, a person so deeply involved in a capitalist society, to decenter that mindset from her life and trust her peers more. At first, everyone is hostile to her because she brings a corporate viewpoint to a previously close-knit neighborhood. Her father had an established system that, at first glance, wasn't highly profitable but kept the store afloat. When Wan comes in and disrupts that system, she is seen as "the other" in a community she perceives as peculiar.
And that's what really charmed me about this show. We see Wan try to understand her father and start building relationships with her customers. Even when people naturally start buying from the competition because they offer cheaper prices for the same products Wan sells, Mae is always by her side.
Mae herself has a complicated relationship with her mother, who wants her to take over the family business and disapproves of her relationship. Both of them have to fight the expectations set on them by themselves and their families. Their relationship is a breath of fresh air compared to other WLW shows.
Now, don't get me wrong; there are some issues with the show, such as unnecessary misunderstandings, a few weak performances from side characters, and some shots that can appear amateur. However, those flaws didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the series, especially with the really strong performances from both Milk and Love.
All in all, this is a show I highly recommend to anyone who wants to watch a lighthearted romance with surprisingly smart and current themes.

A comfort GL!
"When one door closes, another one always opens."I have totally fallen in love with this series. It features such an adorable script that brought many of my favourite characters to life. I had a very cheerful time watching this. It is the perfect series for MilkLove, focusing on adult life in society after their high school concept series, 23.5.
I am totally in love with the amazing, sweetest, and hard-working Maewnam. Every single time I believe Love couldn't get any cuter, she proves me wrong with a potential comeback. My god, Maewnam is AWESOME. Like, what can't she do? She teaches at a university and works for her Maewnam service—which puts A LOT on her plate—and my ma'am, I beg, the way she goes all the way to help and support her Wan! I just can't stop admiring her. XD
I really liked the way Wan was written. She isn't instantly down-bad for Maewnam. In fact, it's such a good take on Love's character falling in love first here, whereas in 23.5, Milk's character did. Although I strongly think Maewnam fell first and harder, there's something about Wan—the way she didn't immediately jump into a romantic relationship and took her time. Even though Maewnam is easy to fall in love with and the most AMAZING person (ahem), Wan insisted on standing her ground. Silly me felt happy at how Wan "graded" Maewnam for her romantic interest, especially since we have Mae as a teacher. Such a subtle detail!
Precisely, Wan was not excessively rich in her profession or too passionate like Mae, who already knows what makes her happy and is decided. Wan confuses, explores, questions, trips, and takes time; the more unsteady she is, the more relatable she becomes. More importantly, she never wanted to be dependent on others. It's like reading about a very relatable character from a YA book.
Their bond will be my favourite. They have an essence full of passion and true love for each other.

I can't get enough of how Maewnam is always there, ready to motivate and guide Wan, all without being asked. Imagine what more she would be ready to do if Wan just asked. GOSH! MAY THIS KIND OF LOVE FIND ME.
I also liked Tonnam and Chomphu. You see, at first, it could be triggering how Chom kept asking Tonnam whether she was mad while constantly letting things happen that hurt Tonnam—the perks of being in a relationship with a person who hasn't come out to anyone yet. That's the exact point that had me hooked at the start of the series. Seeing Tonnam unable to be mad or sad at Chom for how things were—because doing so would make Chom feel bad for making her feel that way—was pure drama. It was a brilliant concept that I observed and grew to understand. Thankfully, Chom came out to her mother later. ;)
I didn't know Jingjing was in this. HOW DID I MISS IT? Her role, Manmuk, is eye candy. I kind of felt the role was similar to her Wine role from Enemies With Benefits. It could just be me, but the cold arrogance she sparks is surely effective.
It would be really good if Piploy had a GL project with her own partner. I want to see her more in a main character role; she and Kapook could just sit and do nothing, and I would watch them for hours, lol.
Maewnam: "Is this place selling love too?"
Wan: "Not anymore. Because I already gave it all to you."
Never in my life would I have thought I would like these cheesy lines, damn it! ><
Everything in this series was a chef's kiss. Every single character and every connection they built feels like home. It is one of my favourite series from now on.
