A Heartfelt and Beautiful Story That Stays With You

Love You Teacher is a deeply emotional and beautifully told series that captures both the warmth and complexity of human relationships. From start to finish, it delivers a story that feels sincere, engaging, and meaningful.

One of the strongest aspects of the series is its characters. Each one is written with depth and realism, making it easy to understand their struggles, decisions, and growth. The development throughout the story feels natural, allowing viewers to truly connect with them on an emotional level.

The chemistry between the leads is undeniable and plays a huge role in making the story so compelling. Their interactions feel genuine, filled with both tender and intense moments that keep you invested.

In addition, the series does a great job balancing lighter, heartwarming scenes with deeper, more emotional themes. The pacing is well-managed, gradually revealing more about the characters and their pasts without losing momentum.

The acting is impressive across the board, with performances that bring authenticity to every scene. Combined with strong cinematography and fitting music, the overall atmosphere of the series becomes even more impactful.

Overall, Love You Teacher is more than just a romance—it’s a story about growth,
understanding, and emotional connection. It leaves a lasting impression and is definitely worth watching.

Not a BL fan… but this completely changed my mind

I’m not usually into BL dramas, so I went into Love You Teacher with very low expectations—but by the end of the series, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

What stood out to me the most is how natural everything felt. The story didn’t rely on exaggerated scenes or forced moments. Instead, it focused on gradual development, allowing the characters and their relationships to grow in a way that felt real and easy to connect with.

The chemistry between the leads is subtle but effective. It’s not overly dramatic, yet you can clearly feel the emotions building throughout the series. Even as someone who doesn’t normally watch this genre, I found myself getting invested in their journey.

Another thing I appreciated is the balance. The series mixes light, fun moments with emotional scenes, so it never feels too heavy or too slow. It kept me interested from beginning to end without losing momentum.
Of course, it’s not completely perfect—there are a few predictable moments—but overall, the execution is strong enough that it doesn’t take away from the experience.

Honestly, I didn’t expect to finish this series, let alone enjoy it this much. But here I am, actually recommending it—even to people who aren’t BL fans like me.

A Promising Beginning That Sets a High Standard

This series just keeps getting better and better with every episode. The storyline is incredibly well-crafted, and the way the narrative unfolds feels almost unbelievable in the best way possible. Every emotion is portrayed so beautifully and balanced so naturally that you can truly feel each moment.
I especially love how they incorporate flashbacks while continuing the present storyline—it’s done so smoothly that it never feels confusing or forced. Instead, it adds so much depth to the characters and makes the story even more engaging.
The acting is absolutely outstanding. Both Perth and Santa are phenomenal actors. Their performances feel so real and powerful—they truly know how to convey emotions through even the smallest expressions. There’s truly something magical in their eyes; the way they express feelings without words is just captivating. It really shows how talented they are as actors. They don’t just play the characters—they become them.
And their chemistry? It’s honestly insane. The connection between them feels so natural and intense that it completely pulls you into the story.
What’s even more impressive is that, with just two episodes, the series has already set such a high standard. Everything feels so perfectly executed—from storyline to acting to emotional depth—and I’m already completely hooked.
I seriously cannot wait for the next episode

crack comedy to very dark at times

Overall: I was a bit nervous with the premise, but they did handle that aspect fairly well. The tone however was jarring at times. Aired on YouTube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLszepnkojZI5aWDfcMptZ4BC9dSSljMGa&si=lqhtFN5MkArH3W5w

Content Warnings: past death, past mental health struggles, current mental health struggles, manipulation

Watch Suggestions (if you want to focus on their relationship as adults and cut out the darker parts)
- watch episode 1 to get an overall sense of the story
- episode 2 watch beg-10:10, 25:40-28:20 and 36-end
- episode 3 watch 3 15:10-18:40, 30:10-35:20 and 50:35-end
- episode 4 watch 11:30-17:30, 23:30-25:40, 35:30-41:40 kiss
- episode 5 watch 9:15-10:45, 27:25-30:15, 41:40-end,
- episode 6 watch 32:40-35:20, 42:40-end
- episode 7 watch 42:20-end
- episode 8 watch 2:10-3:40,15:30-18
- episode 9 watch beg-2:40 and 36-end
- watch episode 10

What I Liked
- chemistry
- an established couple
- supportive friend and boss
- theme of how challenging it is when your romantic partner has a health crisis
- good Solar put parameters until he was fully recovered (though wasn't quite sure why he removed them early)
- laughed a couple times*

Room For Improvement
- the comedy and darker parts did not always mesh
- a character lied for way too long
- a mom was positioned as an antagonist when she had completely legitimate concerns
- wish they hadn't gone with the feel good discovery in episode 9 and left it the way it seemed originally
- there was a ton of nonsense, and it did pull me out of the story a few times
- *most humor didn't work for me

A Brave and Healing Masterpiece

This series takes a daring leap into the complexities of neurological trauma and psychological healing. It is a raw, heart-wrenching, yet ultimately hopeful exploration of what happens when the person you love becomes a stranger to themselves.

The plot centers on Pobmek (Perth), a teacher who struggles with children, whose world is turned upside down after his boyfriend Solar (Santa) suffers a traumatic brain injury. The "brain reset" condition—where Solar’s mind reverts to that of a seven-year-old—is handled with incredible maturity.

Santa gives a tour-de-force performance. Switching between the vibrant, adult Solar and the vulnerable, confused "Nong Sun" requires immense range. He avoids caricature, making the psychological regression feel tragic and authentic.
Perth is the emotional anchor. His portrayal of Pobmek's frustration, grief, and unconditional patience is masterfully subtle. He captures the essence of a man who hates children but would do anything to protect the "child" inside his partner.

Despite the heavy themes, the show is "healing." It emphasizes that love is about adapting and staying present, even when the person you love can't remember who you are.

This series is a profound study of human resilience. It challenges the audience to think about the nature of love and the mind. It’s a 5-star drama that will break your heart and mend it back together, one episode at a time.

PerthSanta's acting is phenomenal and so is the director.

This is one of the best starting episode of a series. The emotions, expressions, dialogue delivery, the direction, the sets and the music everything was top notch. Truly worth waiting 2 years for. Definitely going to be one of my most favourite series.
PerthSanta's acting skills are no joke and I am so happy they got such a amazing script that that teaches us the importance of so many things and helps us understand the society better.

P’Dome, I'm scared! I’ll never believe your 'Comedy' again! ??

At first, I expected this drama to be a lighthearted rom-com, but it turned out to be an emotional rollercoaster that kept me both laughing and crying. Every episode is packed with meaningful life lessons that resonate deeply and offer something new to learn each time. The acting is phenomenal, especially seeing the lead transition seamlessly between different facets of Santa character. One moment, he portrays the innocence of a clueless 7-year-old child so convincingly, and the next, he transforms into a mature, composed teacher. This stark contrast in his performance truly showcases his incredible range and dedication as an actor. The storytelling is rich and multifaceted, providing a perfect blend of humor, heart, and wisdom. It’s a masterpiece that offers a diverse range of emotions, making it a truly unforgettable viewing experience. Highly recommended for those who love deep characters!

Love You Teacher EP1: A Colorful Story with Heart and Depth”

Review – Episode 1

The first episode of Love You Teacher is a very strong and promising start. From the beginning, the series creates a warm yet emotional atmosphere that immediately draws you in. One of the most noticeable elements is the visual style, the bright colors give the story a lively, almost fairytale-like feeling that fits the tone of the series very well.
The plot already hints that deeper themes will appear later, such as family, responsibility, and the realities of adult life and being a teacher. At the same time, the episode balances emotional moments with humor and sweetness, which makes it very enjoyable to watch. A major highlight is the acting by Perth and Santa. Perth delivers subtle and heartfelt emotions, especially in quieter scenes, like the phone call with Solar’s mother. Santa is impressive in the way he clearly distinguishes between Solar and Sun, you can immediately tell which side of the character he is portraying. Their chemistry also feels very natural, which makes Pobmek and Solar believable and warm as characters.

Conclusion:
A beautiful and engaging opening episode with warmth, humor, and emotional depth. It definitely makes you excited to see what happens next.

I didn't expect it to be this good

At first, I thought this series would be strange because the unusual theme. After watching one episode, I was really interested in watching the next one. Many people felt the same way about the mental issues it addressed. I read a lot of other people's reviews, and it turns out many people experienced the similar thing. I cried the first time during the "sponge bath" scene, it truly broke my heart, and I cried in every episode after that. Now that I've finished watching episode 8, oh man, this episode really shook me to my core. I'm also very relieved about how the director directed this series. We can see that he loves his work, he did a lot of research, and so on.

LYT is a masterpiece, give it a try. Everything is perfect: the story, the cinematography, the acting. It's a shame it only has 10 episodes. Overall, it's a very enjoyable series and worth watching.

Story line, acting

Honestly i have watched many bl dramas and this is so perfect. This doesn't show how they met or anything. It shows how they are staying in love, how they overcome their problems and how they chose to stay with each other every time. It's rare in bl dramas. The acting of perth santa was everything, Santa's acting of sun then acting like solar while being sun showed how good of actor he is. This drama is so underrated!! It needs more recognition. In my point of view this series is not only series anymore it holds feelings, there not a bad thing of this drama.
