Highly recommended masterpiece!
Everything was handled with so much care and passion. In the early episodes, you'd think some scenes are fillers, confusing, unnecessary, etc. But as the story progresses, everything falls into place and makes you realize, that every little thing contributes to and is the reason why everything is as is now. The story, acting, OSTs, music, pacing, and production are all top notch.Was this review helpful to you?
DON'T GET FOOL BY THE TITLE OR POSTER!! THIS DESERVES MORE ATTENTIONS!!
I thought it was the normal rom-com when I first saw the poster but from the first episode, we could know that this is way deeper than that. Every episode has a moment that we question why they didn't do like this or that or why this turn out like that. Then it come that moment that make us "Ahh that why". Some details in this series is so precious to miss that when I realized it later. The way they connect their university moment with current events are also really perfect.The production also did really well in this Drama. The color palate for this series would be one of my fav. While in poster it is really colorful and bright, in series the colorfulness is really balance with emotions. And the costume in this series are really so cute. I personally think Pobmek outfits feels like uncle like my dad might wear that. The comedy, romance, emotion and even spice is all well balanced in this drama.
The acting are on peak. Santa's acting really improved. The way he conveyed Sun and Solar differently is so impressive. In some scenes, I thought it might really hard to change because it is so quick. We all could tell that this is Sun or Solar even from the trailer(But honestly got fooled by Nong Sun once{ep 7}). Perth also did so well with his character too(as expected). The way he conveyed all the emotions really make me cry from the first episode. Even the child actor really did well, my beloved Mean girls, Elsa (she is my fav), Aurora, Tinker Bell, Four, King, Bitcoin, Nobel, Narak. especially our little Sun.

story and acting; perthsanta the best
The story and the acting from perthsanta absolutely carried this show. Very thankful for P'Dome for the superb story and directing as well as the perfect casting of perth and santa for the main roles. I have nothing else to say but to all who are still hesitating to watch this series, do give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Was this review helpful to you?
Handled trauma brilliantly
I absolutely loved the series. I have mixed feelings about it. They handled trauma so well; as a psychology student and a children's teacher, it was truly rewarding to watch. The acting was excellent, kudos to Santa, he really moved me. I cried in every single episode. Sadly, the show didn't get the hype it deserved, but more people should definitely give it a shot. I connected so much with Pobmek, Sun, and Solar. Saturdays won't be the same without it.Was this review helpful to you?
Love You Back
To be honest, this is one of the best BLs to come out of Thailand in a very, very long time. Not only is it entertaining from the beginning, it maintains its entertainment value throughout. The storyline is creative and novel, and I honestly looked forward to every episode because each was fresh and original. The story’s theme was not just saturated in love but decidedly rich in devotion, reverence, and fidelity to one another. It has been a long time since I have been wholly impressed with a Thai BL; this gave me hope that they can indeed get back to making quality series again. This is clearly a “must see” for everyone. Unquestionably, it should also be considered a nominee for Best BL of this year. The full devotion of its simple message to love, devotion, and dedication and the simple smart and entertaining way it delivered was astonishingly effective. It also shows the importance of recognizing the role of mental health in the development of healing our bodies. I might suggest in the future that the series not be afraid to ‘label’ the conditions that are being expressed, rather than merely painting a visual picture. It is “okay” for us to deal with real conditions that hinder us from moving forward in living and let those who love us and our communities support us in our efforts to improve. We must no longer feel ashamed or afraid or embarrassed. We are who we are. This is a BL series that will stick with you for a long time.Was this review helpful to you?
My favorite this year (so far)!
This was one of the series I was waiting for the most from 2024's line up and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint!It's the perfect combination of angst and fluff and PerthSanta's chemistry was off the charts. Definitely one of my favorite couples after this.
The show itself has a very heavy storyline, navigating different traumas and family dynamics, which I find refreshing to see in a gmmtv show, cause normally they don't go for deep. I think it was beautifully managed, considering this is a fictional series. Of course in real life, things would and should be navigated different, but for the entertainment part, I think it gave us everything it promised and more.
The universe scenes in the past where so beautiful and necessary to understand their relationship, and the colorful vibes in the present are so fun and heart warming, I really enjoyed the cinematography.
The acting was perfect, Perth demonstrating his wide range, and Santa was literally made for this role. I hope to see them in a lot more of different roles so they can keep showcasing these skills. Also the children cast, very talented and the soul of the show for sure!

Not A Comedy. BUT, one of the most beautiful shows I've ever watched
I cried every. single. episode. from start to finish.

Honestly, I was hesitant to watch this show at first and almost didn't, but oh am I grateful I did. Firstly, I was fully expecting this to be a romantic comedy, I had full faith in Perth, Santa, and Dome that this was going to be a funny little show that had "light angst with a happy ending." Safe to say, I should've known better when I saw it was airing on a Saturday and not a Sunday. Conversely, I also didn't have much faith in GMMTV to pull of a show with a plot such as this one with the right attitude, and fully expected them absolutely bomb it. HOWEVER, I was so incredibly wrong. The show touches upon many different mental health issues and delves into some very deep topics such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, su!c!dal ideation, and emotionally immature parents. And as someone who relates to more than one of the aforementioned, the show became a comfort to watch and served as a mirror to my own life, but also as a hope for the future.
For me, the most special part of any show is seeing and analyzing the evolution of the characters, and frankly, Love You Teacher has some of the most nuanced and multi-dimensional characters I have ever seen in a Thai drama. Moreover, the acting was impeccable. I truly must commend Perth and Santa for pulling off such emotional scenes. Specifically, the scene in episode 6 where Pobmek breaks down in Solar's arms after rewatching a clip of him playing the guitar, Solar/Sun's panic attack in episode 8, and like literally every other scene was delivered such such raw emotion that transcended the screen. Every scene had a purpose, every line meant something, and every episode got me feeling every single emotion. I also adored the addition of the scenes from when they were in university, as I feel like it not only gave the audience an explanation for how the foundation of this beautiful relationship was built, but it also gave the characters a whole other level of nuance and depth.
Finally, I want to say that while this show means so much to me, it definitely is not for everyone. The heavy themes and topics can be sensitive to some, while others might not fully understand it. This show came at a very hard point in my life and genuinely gave me the light of hope in an otherwise dark and desolate place. But regardless, from the acting, the plot, the cinematography, costuming, set design, and writing, this show is one of the most beautiful pieces of media I have ever seen in y life.

seriously the storyline is so good!!!!! everything has a cute and calm theme. the love these mens had for each other was endearing I love it!!!!!this drama was more of a fashion drama rather than emotional. every character had unique fashion sense for themselves. "pobmek" was a math teacher, he always wore complicated or horizontal lines type of clothes (even tho he had worn check shirts for half of the time in the drama). his boyfriend "solar" had a calm unique fashion sense because he was English teacher. "jee" was a PT teacher and the vibe was right there. my favorite is "the principal" oh my gosh the fashion sense of her was top-notch.
after all great story, recommended!!!!

Not a Romance Story (slight spoilers)
First of all, I'd like to say that if you're looking for a love story, this series is not it.When you start watching, our couple is already together, so it doesn't contain the cliche tropes like a break-up, flirting, or chasing. It is about the problems our couple start facing when one of them gets into an accident.
I have to applaud GMMTV for the great series they put out this time!
Plot:
The plot makes you curious about what happened to our character turn from "Solar" to "Nong Sun", and you feel frustrated together with his boyfriend, Pobmek, who suddenly must raise a child, despite not getting along well with children.
The plot is more focused on the growth of the characters than the story, which is mostly uncovered towards the end. The way Solar's friends and lover deal with his split personality really makes you root for them, and sympathize with their situation.
Characters:
All of the characters are flawed, are human. But their growth and change leaves you feeling satisfied.
Sodcheun and Jee are very good and supportive friends that don't let our Pobmek feel alone with his dilemma.
Pobmek and Solar's relationship is very warm and loving, I loved that even when Pobmek was struggling and feeling tired because of his lover, he never once thought of giving up on him. Their relationship is really one anyone would want to have!
Sun was very adorable, I understood why Pobmek struggled with him and wanted to get rid of him at first, but on second thought, he's a child, children like to play around, why should we restrict him? I'm glad that Pobmek felt way more tolerant of children towards the end of the series.
I want to talk a bit about Pobmek's mom; I was very surprised that she didn't give us the cliche "how can my son be gay" reaction haha she was actually more against him being a teacher than that!
Music:
I personally liked the music very much, I'll probably listen to it even though I finished the series. Very warm.
Other:
The cinematography was good, so colorful and artistic, and I loved their outfits! Especially Solar's colorful clothing, it was very unique and caught my attention. I bet the stylists had a fun time with them, it's colorful but not too flashy, very pleasing to the eyes.
Overall:
If you feel you're ready for a bit of an emotional plot, then please watch it!! I recommend it 100%
Perth and Santa did an amazing job at acting this out, they'll let you feel the emotions with them!!
P.S. there are no spicy scenes, so don't even wait for such a thing!!
